-FUN!--> We have fun here, there's low pressure and we just love chatting and helping and doing art! So if you love all that too, come join us!

Applications are reviewed by the admins and current members. These reviews take about a week to complete.

Tips to Applying:
- Don't feel intimidated by this application process. We just want to know who you are as an artist.
- We like thoughtful answers. Your responses do not need to be extravagant, but try to be thorough and take them seriously.
- Don't feel as if you should need to take a lot of time to impress us. Type the way you normally do.
- Do take a look at our FAQ (toggle spoiler below), as it may benefit you while writing your application.

::How should I link my art?
We prefer it if you can host your art in a gallery such as DeviantArt, so we can see both a timeline and wide array of pieces. If you don't have a gallery, consider making a folder of art on an image hosting site, even if it's just for the application. Link-spam is not encouraged.

::What are you looking for in a gallery?
We would appreciate a fair amount of recent works as well as older works. If you only have a few works to show (less than 10) it's harder for us to gauge your scope and your passion on improvement. However, we don't ask for a gallery of complete works, WIPs are okay as well!

:: Do I need to be a certain age to apply?
Nope! As long as you're active on Subeta, you can apply!

:: Is there a limit on when/how many times I can apply?
We don't have a set limit on how many times you can apply, but we would suggest that if it's more than three times, that you take time to really figure out what you need to do to improve to qualify. And yes, you have to be an active member of subeta for at least a month before you can apply.

:: How should I fill out the application?
We're not looking for a novel, but please put thought into your replies. We appreciate applicants that consider each question thoughtfully. It doesn't matter if art is your passion as career or simply a hobby, we want to see your desire for your art by showing us your personality.

:: I don't think I have any/know what my strengths and weaknesses are as an artist- what should I put for that question?
This question is a crucial part of our deciding process, so we'd appreciate it if you took some time to reflect as an artist. Everyone has them, regardless of how long you've been drawing. Ask yourself what you are good at and what you could improve on.
Examples: shading, color theory, perspective knowledge, anatomy skills, coloring. ect. Please try to consider strengths and weaknesses centered around the art itself and not just personality traits.

:: Who decides in choosing who gets accepted into the cult?
Applications are open for reviews by all members. This is so we get opinions from different perspectives. This is not intended as a way of intimidation- but a way to allow more variety and less exclusivity.

:: If I don't get in, can I reapply?
Of course! You have to wait 30 days from the time you apply though.

::Why wasn't I accepted?
If you'd like to know the reason you weren't accepted, please ask via sMail to either Ryxe or Alaska.

Due to the nature of the cult, a lot of the events are geared towards those that draw and paint. Unfortunately, we cannot handle catering to all types of different mediums.

::What kind of events are there?
AG hosts some Subeta events for the public, such as the annual Secret Santa and last summer, our mascot drawing contest. In the cult, some of our past events have involved collaboration, prompt themes, and fashion and character design, amongst other things.

:: Do I have to participate in every single event?
Of course not! We create events for people to challenge themselves and have fun. If you come under artblock or don't have time to join in, we won't harp on you. But we'd highly prefer members who can be active at least once in a while.

:: If I suddenly can't get online for awhile or stop coming around, will I be kicked out?
While we do understand real life issues do come up, we would appreciate any forewarning if you can provide for inactivity you are expecting. Member purges are expected for every 4 months; if you suddenly disappear from cult activity altogether or even quit subeta, we will assume you have lost interest and remove your membership during the purge. Please do not take it personally if you are removed. We do so to keep activity in the cult regular as we would enjoy all members to be active, from simply posting on the forums to having fun in the events.

Aaand... the cult is up again! God folks, I'm really happy now :3

Okay, my part of bad news is that I'm stuck in a small hole in the countryside with no tablet or scanner, or any serious drawing material beside my trusted batch of pencils, AND limited computer access, but I'll make sure to at least follow the cults progression and happenings (or how do you call it o_0) and do my best to participate at least a bit.
