Soooo the old thread slipped into the past, but I figured I'd make a nice shiny new one so more people can be aware of the group and we can have somewhere for "general" news pings again!

Speaking of: There is a new newsletter and I actually got it!! /shocker of the century.

It gives a free mask for the Masquerade as well as a random item and some sP.

Thanks for the ping. I didn't get a mask either, I got Homecoming Wig, Wiggles, Slice of Moms Homemade Lasagna, Plant In A Boot, Well-Loved Beat-Up Book and Brown Bustle.

The link I included is the generic newsletter link (since the email ones are individually generated)... IF you didn't originally get the last newsletter's prizes, you might try just visiting it again. Otherwise, I'm sure a ticket will get it sorted.

No, it just said that Louis made sweetheart things because he didn't need to make cures anymore, and linked to the shop. And if you missed it, don't wrry because Masquerade was around the corner.

That's what I thought. I'm not really fond of how pings look, but I'll get used to it. The hovers are interesting in that if you don't have a background on your HA, it's transparent. Thought that was cool.

@ Yeah I went back and looked and the hovers are interesting indeed. It will take sometime to get used to the new ping format though.

lol the pings look so weird!! Maybe I'm just so used to the @ symbol, it will definitely take getting used to for the megahorn things.

The username hovers are nice and fancy. Though I'm sad that it kinda makes HA with backgrounds/whiteout/vanishing cream look stupid like it does with the trees... X.x

I change my HA everyday as part of Daily Item

Ew. I have to say I am not a fan at all of the new forums.

They just don't seem as organized or easily navigated. Plus they're just aesthetically displeasing in general...

And @, I think you may be right. The color puts me off the whole page though, so can't really say one way or another.

I like them but I also don't. To elaborate - I like the rounded corners, the new mega horn thing, the way posts are kept so they're not so tall...but I don't like how in some forums, only a few topics show unless you keep going to the next page. Also, the whole 'go to unread posts' within a topic button in the forums...does nothing on my iPad. I get a tiny pop up saying 'tap to close' but then...nothing. I haven't tried it on my laptop yet.

In general I'm completely mixed about the layout. I don't like how the widgets seem to have all vanished.

I love widgets.
