@Kizzari is right, you have some mistakes in your code that are causing it to not work properly. You have 3 - Code:

<style>

... tags but only 1 - Code:

</style>

... tag. For every 'style' tag you must have a closing one; you can't leave the tags open like that. @spoken Heya just a heads up, I think the code you just recently posted isn't supposed to have the pet_treasure and pet_friends divs, is it?

But otherwise that should definitely work I think!

Try changing: width: auto; to: width: 400px; For some reason, the browsers are computing totally different widths for that section when left to their own devices like that. Chrome thinks it's a lot wider than Firefox, so best to just outright declare a width.

@Stalin___Yo If you're trying to edit directly from your profile, it could be something in your profile coding is making the button unclickable. Are you able to edit the code from http://subeta.net/preferences.php?act=profile? Otherwise you could try clicking the "Reset V2 Profile!" link on that page; I think it just wipes your entire profile code.

@Marine For the first question, can you please clarify what fix you are talking about that doesn't work with your sections? For the second one, I don't believe it's possible because that behaviour is actually the intended use for anchor links, lol. Clicking a link anchor is SUPPOSED to bring your browser to that part of the document. I don't know of a way to hack that to not happen while still having the section links functional.

Okay, I thought of a way that would probably solve your first issue. For one thing, all of your paragraphs should be wrapped in paragraph tags ... like: Code:

<p>This is a paragraph</p>
<p>This is another paragraph</p>

Then you can get rid of your line-break (br) tags that are currently spacing out your paragraphs. That way, you can make the paragraphs slightly narrower than the parent div. So right now you have: Code:

width: 255px;
}

Say the scrollbar is about 20px wide, you could do: Code:

#story {
width: 255px;
}

#story p {
width: 235px; /* 20px narrower */
}

The main part is the "float:left" which makes the two div's sit side-by side.

@Ironsong Does your website actually have a market towards people who are visually impaired? Because if not, honestly the number of people who use screen readers is so small, you don't really even have to worry about it with normal websites... Other than a "Skip to Content" link at the top, the only tip I can think of is just to make sure you have really concise HTML output. Making sure all the tags are correct, etc. Body text should always be wrapped in paragraph tags, headings should always use one of the heading tags, stuff like that.
