@Eremes Sure! Sorry if I'm a little behind on my work guys, I've been sort of preoccupied, but I'll probably get a lot done at school tomorrow. <3

@Eremes Yes, you snagged the last slot for now. What do you need?

Link to [SHOP] Custom pet and HA pixels~

@Ceph Of course. I could try doing something like Saga's sprites. The vintage style naturally has less colors, and my pixels tend to be larger (around 111x111 at max, take a look at the one I did for Lollypop for a size approximation), but if there's anything specific you'd like done then please ask! @Totodile I really enjoyed making this! If there's anything you want changed please let me know. c: (P.S. Would you mind if I put this on my Deviantart?)

@LollyPop963549 Profile comments? Well, whatever works for you. Leave me a comment/smail/whatever with your suggestion.

@Cherish That's fine. @LollyPop963549 I hope this is to your liking! I'd need a few more pixels to do a heart-shaped highlight, and it would probably overwhelm the eyes since it would be so big, so I wasn't able to do that. :c

@Cherish Can do! Is this (not mine) perspective okay?

Link to [SHOP] Custom pet and HA pixels~

@LollyPop963549 Small things like that are no problem! It's more of an OH MY GOODNESS thing when someone asks me to change the shading style or totally redo the legs/body. If this is okay with you, we can discuss pricing, and please upload to an image host of your own if you plan to post it anywhere. @Cherish Of course I can do Cadbury (super-adorable overlay, btw)! I take it you want Pocket style? Inanimate objects... well, it depends on what it is. What do you need? @Ceph I'll get started on them in the order you've posted them most likely, after I finish Totodile's animations.

@LollyPop963549 I'm awful at wolves, so if there's anything you'd like changed before you pay please ask. We can negotiate pay here or Smail. @CEPH I'd be willing to do all of them, but I'd have to take breaks for other people's commissions inbetween. You okay with 3 at a time, Vintage style? And yes, Smail me and we can work out prices.

Link to [SHOP] Custom pet and HA pixels~

@LollyPop963549 Sure! I'll get right on that and ping you when I'm done. @Totodile Fine with me. Would you like them doing anything specific in the animations?

Link to [SHOP] Custom pet and HA pixels~

PING ME if you'd like to request! Hello! I'm opening a shop for my pixelart because I could use some SP. ~3~ NOTICE: All prices will be negotiated between myself and the buyer. However, I'll know if you're trying to rip me off. I'm doing negotiated prices because due to the nature of pixelart, these can take anywhere from a half hour to a day or so, and I don't want to overcharge you! HA/Character Chibis All HA Chibis are made on this base: If you'd like a different sort of eye, nose, or mouth, please say so in your post. Because of the size, I might have to cut out parts of your HA that are too crowded/complex. Sorry! These will all be shaded with normal colors, with around 8-16 colors depending on the amount of colors in your HA. Creatures/Pets Creatures can be done in three styles: Vintage, Pocket, and Dolled. Vintage creatures are done using the palette of an old game system and 4 colors + black and white. You can choose (google "nes palette or similar for colors) or I can just use a random palette I think fits your creature or pet. Example: Pocket style is the Pokemon DPPT/BW style! These, and only these, can be animated. It'll cost you extra, though. Example (non-animated): Example (animated): Dolled style is named after the colorcount heavy style of shading pixel dollers use. I will only EVER have one request for these at once, since they take forever to make! Example: If you have a special request, I could do my best to accommodate it. I accept SP, CSC and WL items. SLOTS: 1. Totodile - 2 Pocket styles, animated 2. Ceph - 3 at a time, Vintage style 3. Cherish - Pocket Style, possibly animated and maybe an inanimate object 4. Eremes - Pocket Style animation

Hello Subetans! I didn't see a topic for gamemaking anywhere so I figured I'd post this here. Hieros Gamos is a 3v3 monster battler inspired by Dragon Warrior Monsters, Shin Megami Tensei and Digimon World DS. I've been working on this since late 2010, and after a few hiatus I'm back on the road to success and looking to hire a scripter. (Can you script in RGSS2? Want to make some cash? PM me!) Story Synopsis: In the world of Roeizek, alchemy has developed so much that it is the single driving force behind everything in the world. The form of alchemy used in Roeizek is homunculus based - most alchemists get by through summoning and binding powerful creatures to do their bidding. After they are finished with, these creatures get released into the wild, causing an influx of monsters surrounding towns and cities. This development called for a new breed of alchemist, one who had the utmost understanding of the homunculi - one who could bind any homunculus to their will. You are the younger brother/sister of one of these alchemists. Your sister, Morgan, set off three years ago in order to study the Hieros Gamos, the ultimate breeding rite between two super-powerful homunculi. One year ago she was pronounced missing, and you haven't gotten any contact from her until now. On your doorstep lays a small package. Inside said package is a large crystal - one homunculi are known to produce after they breed. Under the crystal is a note from your sister. The note tells you not to seek her out. She's fine. You believe otherwise. Features -Raise, breed, talk to and battle with over 120 Homunculi in their 4 stages of growth -In-depth "life stage" and "personality" systems give your homunculi a mind of their own -Breeding, variety in homunculi, and post-story content give replay value -Traditional, turn-based battles couple with elemental combination attacks for limitless strategy - think Pokémon Black and White's Triple Battles -Difficulty about the level of a Shin Megami Tensei game on Normal - hard, but not impossibly hard -Engaging story with multiple endings -Homunculi designed by longtime designers of Fake Pokémon - we know what we're doing! Mechanics In the game there are four base elements, which can combine to make 16 'complex' elements. The elements are as follows: Earth+Earth = Earth Earth>Fire = Metal Earth>Water = Wood Earth>Air = Sand Fire>Earth = Sulphur Fire+Fire = Fire Fire>Water = Steam Fire>Air = Lightning Water>Earth = Blood Water>Fire = Catalyst Water+Water = Water Water>Air = Snow Air>Earth = Sound Air>Fire = Nuclear Air>Water = Miasma Air+Air = Air Each creature is also ruled by one of the 8 planets. This determines what type of creature you will get from breeding them. Mercury (Reptiles) Venus (Machines/Manmade) Earth (Plants) Mars (Mammals and Humanoids) Jupiter (Everything Else) Saturn (Birds) Uranus (Insects/Invertebrates) Neptune (Marine creatures and Amphibians) Videos/Screenshots Extremely basic battle system preview Sprites I just changed spriting styles for the project, so I only have one right now. Dwartle (Rank 4) Recruitment Currently recruiting: Scripter Monster designers/spriters Tile Spriter Musician If you're good at any of those things post here and I'll see what I can do.

At least that's what I think. Boring to read, boring to write. Is there anyone else in the same boat as me? I'm aware I'll need to get good at it if I want to be a writer with books that actually sell, but I don't see any way to make it less boring to write or read. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or just want to put your two cents in?

Link to Description is boring!

So I've been not reading at all for the past few years. I'm a writer, and apparently it's bad not to read when you write. Eh, I dunno. Anyways! Most of the books I've picked up have been absolutely terrible, teenage-romance drivel. I've gotten through one in the last year (Ice by Sarah Beth Durst) and only because it was a fun read, the characters were well-developed and the romance wasn't rushed. It wasn't the god of books or anything, but it was good enough for me to stay up until 1 am reading it. Here's some books I enjoy and hopefully they'll give you some ideas of what to recommend for me. I usually read young adult or children's fantasy, though sci-fi and a little paranormal romance isn't totally out of the question. The Underland Chronicles (Gregor the Overlander, etc) by Suzanne Collins (DO NOT RECOMMEND THE HUNGER GAMES) Dragon of the Lost Sea (series, been so long that I forgot the author) Deltora Quest by Emily Rodda (once again, been a while but these were my favorite a few years back) Ice by Sarah Beth Durst (once again, not amazing but I could actually get through it!) Some themes I like in my books: mythology (NOT PERCY JACKSON) grey morality, especially among the villain/s interesting takes on old favorites (dragons, etc) I hope this is enough information that I'll get at least one good book out of this.
Edit:
Ping me!

@BRITTEY I would pay 2mil for one of the shaded lineless, though I'm not sure what the going rate is these days. I love your style, by the way. Tell me when you open a shop!

@ROSEN A friend told me of the fingernail-tearing scene in Higurashi Kai and now I'm afraid of watching it, not big into animated gore. I've heard Umineko is a bit less gory though, so I might try that.

@TIMESONG FLCL = Fooly Cooly, and indeed it is! If you haven't seen it yet it's worth a watch, it's fairly short anyways. (...why am I giving reccommendations? XD)
Edit:
AH! Sorry. Silly pumpkins!

Link to Suggest me some Mindscrew!

I loves me some mindscrew, whether it's the light "huh, that's weird, what's going on" of stuff like Haibane Renmei, and Digimon Tamers, mild "I don't get this crap" anime like FLCL or Mushishi, or crazy brain-breaking stuff like Mononoke or Trapeze. I am also in need of new anime to watch (manga too!) Basically, if it makes you hopelessly confused, I'll probably like it. Obscure suggestions will probably be taken over more popular anime selections. Prices and participation may vary. On a final note, I'm already well-acquainted with the work of Satoshi Kon. RIP man, may your afterlife be full of awesome. (PS. I think I forgot something. If I remember it I'll edit it in.)

@RAIDEN I'm quite fond of APC and I also like Muse, so we have something in common there. Here are two bands I think you might like: Fair to Midland - Fables From A Mayfly: These guys remind me a bit of APC, but with more forceful singing and melodies. Think The Hollow's chorus with a lot of vibrato. Try Fables first, then if you like that take a foray into their older EPs. Their newest music is generic metal, though. Porcupine Tree - pretty much anything from Lightbulb Sun on, though I'm not a fan of their newest release: These guys make prog metal. Epic, awesome prog metal. They remind me a lot of APC. Try The Start of Something Beautiful from Deadwing, that's my current favorite PT song.
