| woah, i didn't expect to get so many people! i'll definitely be commissioning a few of you soon! <3 ( i've been having some issues lately, so sorry for the late responses, but ... yeah! ) |
| hi guys! my old computer recently died, and i lost a lot of art that had been done for me by other people. i'm also currently unable to color things on my own ( new laptop, no photoshop, blehh ), so... i'm just feeling kind of down, and i need to buy some art of my babies to cheer myself back up. luckily, i have a little spending money, so... that's where you guys come in, hopefully!
i have USD and CSC. i also have some sP, but not much, so i'll mostly be paying with the former two. :U
i have two characters in particular that i'm seeking art for. they're both human males, so if you're not interested in drawing that, i'm afraid this is probably where you take your leave!
the first character is ran, the main character from a novel i'm currently working on ( titled 'the name of the king' ). i have photo refs, but below the cut is some additional info, in case you'd be interested in drawing anything including story elements and whatnot. ( which i obviously would pay extra for ;u; )

| @diabolique Hi there! If you still have open spaces, I'd love to get a single color sketch of my character, Hubris! A couple of things that are not in the ref very clearly - he has tattoos around his lips that look like stitches holding the mouth closed, and he always has that mask thing with him, sometimes worn crookedly on his head like a headscarf, and sometimes tied around his hips like a sash. THIS is his quad design, which shows the mask more as well as the stitches. He's very effeminate and playful, and he's a sort of trickster. Also I have no idea what style I want it in. ; u; How much do you think that would cost me? |

| Resident smilodon, reporting for duty! So many items clip with the shoulders that it's hard to find jewelry for it, though. :' D The yellow possessed beads covered the clipping this time around, but i'm still fiddling with ways to make other neck/shoulder items work. |

| Actual multiple here to inform you that DID is NOT the only form of "multiple personality disorder". Also, MPD is a term no longer used by medical professionals, as it is no longer medically accurate. DID is brought on by trauma and is viewed as a form of escapism. (IE- If someone is forced to be meek and quiet, they may "invent" a more outgoing persona for themselves.) It is also characterized by memory blackouts, as the "pilot" or "original" personality will not remember things the others have done. It is true that DID is extremely rare. However, there are also the cases of natural systems to consider. This condition is very poorly researched and is not yet classified as a valid disorder because of lack of data. Therefore, it is non-diagnosable. It's true that some people will fake things like this in order to be "cool", but it's rare that these people persist with it, because living with a disorder is a horrifying thing. The condition of being a multiple system (or simply "multiple") is becoming more frequently announced. More and more people are becoming comfortable with talking about it, which is great. I am one of those people. Some other people will say that these multiples are making a mockery of DID, faking everything, and should all die horrible deaths for "pretending" to have a disorder. To those people, I offer one finger of my hand. I'm just going to assume that you can all guess which one. Multiplicity is real, it sucks, and it's not necessarily brought on by trauma. There are no blackouts, and multiples are known to on occasion make peace with their "headmates" (or alters) and live in relative calm. I'm not sure what else to tell you, without specific questions, but... yes. DID is not the end of the discussion, and you shouldn't be so quick to disregard your friends. If they really are multiples, you're probably going to severely love them up by denying their identities. Having someone tell you "you're faking it, you're not real and you're a terrible person" is probably the worst feeling in the entire world, and the experience has given me some serious anxiety and trust issues. If they ARE faking it, that's terrible, but if they're not, please don't accuse them blindly. |

Thank you for the opinions! Unfortunately, when I went to turn Arrhythmia, it turns out he was a girl!  The character I had in mind was a boy, so ... I ended up making a new pet for the graveyard, making Amadou nostalgic, and I'll make Arrhythmia bloodred once I save up again. :U

| I want a graveyard Legeica and can make one right this instant. That's a fact. I have two pets that could be that Legeica. Their names are Arrhythmia and Amadou. That is also a fact. I have no idea which one should be the graveyard buddy. Sadly, that is also a fact. Arrhythmia fits with the color theme, but Amadou is an old character of mine that I've been wanting to revive for a while. What to do? |
| I haven't been on Subeta in a year or two (well, I came back every couple months to make sure my account didn't get deleted in case I ever wanted to use it again), and so I haven't put together an HA in ... a year or two. So, I just came back and messed around with some items, aaand... came up with this! Ta-daaaa Suggestions, etc? (by the way, smilodons / lighter colored tigers are kind of my thing for a lot of reasons, so if your criticism is around the theme I'm probably not going to take it into consideration. :U) |
