@Ipsi Am I too late for the newsletter? I clicked on the link but I haven't gotten the items yet. Or am I just being impatient?

@Oblivia 2 hours? Oh my. Im like that in a fabric store. Especially if its flannel or a jersey material. Anything soft in general

@Starfleet That's how our Jo Ann Fabric is. I hardly ever see anyone go in, or hardly anyone in the store. And that sounds like my moms scrap booking area in the basement. She has so much stuff! We do have a Michaels about an hour away but they don't sell fabrics, and our closest Hobby Lobby is in New Hampshire! Ive been hunting all morning for places online. I just wish shipping was cheaper! lol

@Starfleet Sadly we do not. We don't have a lot of the places that the southern more states have because our population is "not big enough" @Oblivia I have looked there but I like to feel the fabric first, and Ive only found two sites that will send free swatches. Ive checked Ebay many times but Im either not finding what Im looking for, or it costs too much

@Starfleet Our Walmarts recently have either gotten rid of their fabric department, or the selection is very small and doesn't have very much variety :/

I need some help.. A friend of mine recently got me into doing DIY projects. One that I am eager to make is my own panda spirit animal hood. I'm having problems finding faux fur online, and in the state, Maine that is. Ive looked at the Jo Ann fabric that is near my home, and most of the fiabric stores I find online are mostly quilting stores. Ive looked at other places outside the state as well but the prices are a little too high for what I'm willing to pay. The type of faux fur I'm looking for is what you would find on a typical stuffed animal. I believe its called short pile. If pictures are needed I'll gladly take some Are there any crafters out there that can help me?
