| Larth was sitting down on the floor outside of the library... he was breathing deeply. Even if his body was healed pretty good, he felt that he had reached his inner energy limits. "Ms... Tall. Please excuse... me... but I've reached my limits today. I can't do anything. My body isn't hurting.... but no energy left. If this.... went on we.... aww crap. Isn't somebody here at school around that can help us? What about... the other teachers? I... can't believe... that we have no chances to.... do anything." He concentrated on breathing more normal and listened to the sounds from the library. |
| "Dammit! Gimme a break!" He dragged himself up on a bookshelf, trying to stand properly. "Ms Tall. I'm no help here right now! Let's get outta here!" he said and moved along the shelves as fast as he was able to in his weakened state. |
ooc : If you don't mind waiting some time I really don't want to kill the Rp, but I don't want to make you wait, either. Being the one who slows the rp down  Well... just let's see then how it works.

Larth was in his own thoughts while Tamas and Senyas attention moved to the pets. He felt strange. He could sense the Demon inside him stronger than ever... but it was a silent and calm presence. The fear was gone...and even the pain was. It was a strange calmness and serenity.
As Tama screamed Larth tried to get up,but even though his body was healed, he was still weakened and so he couldn't stand properly, and went down on his knees again.
"T..Tama?! Whats happening?" |
ooc : Bah... sorry people. Recently I've got many things around to do and not sooo much time left. So I don't know if I can continue this here pretty regularly.  Just wanted you to know that. Don't have enough time to make a proper post right now, sorry. I'll let you know some time later if I continue or not. But it was nice rp till now Thanks for that. |
| Larth looked pretty surprised as Tama used some healing abilities and his hurting body got better. "I... I'm not used to... people with such abilities. Where I came from... me and my... mentor... were pretty alone, even before I became... a half dragon. We were... normal humans... that discovered the wonders of magic but nothing more.... and for that we were castouts. Hmpf.... again I was arrogant... and didn't even thought about that others here are special,too. Thank you Tama. I feel much better. Perhaps I can start to learn from my mistakes right here, right now." He looked at the golden charm again. "You know... it's somehow humming with magic,Ms. Tall. I don't know exactly what it is... but it makes me feel comfortable more and more. I think I should be alright for now.... as long as we keep the book away. Oh and don't mind the cat... it doesn't bother me." |
| He smiled a little bit and put his hand to his side. "Thank you.... really.... I'm pretty.... insecure when it comes to my... abilities. Because of... all the things that happened. Perhaps you're right... no... you _are_ right. I should stop punishing myself.... and start trusting people around me...." He stopped talking and took a deep breath. "Sorry... but my... body's still hurting. And I... I'm pretty exhausted and can't concentrate on any healing spell right now. My recent plan... was dependent on the Legacy book.... I was sure... that it contains... spells that'll help us with the crows... both types. But now... I don't know... getting near the book is obviously too dangerous for me. At the moment.... I have no other idea... sorry." |
| Larth stood up and looked at Tama and Senya. He looked helpless... moving his eyes to the ground. His shoulders and wings hanging towards the floor. "Thank you.... really. Thank you for concerning. Thank you... that you matter about me. You're the.... first ones since... two years. Just try.... to understand.... please. Two years... that changed my whole life. Two years were I.... no... where people around me got hurt. Two years where all my friends went away.... two years... where my family casted me out... calling me a uncontrollable monster. A long time.... where I was all alone.... and just for some short time... I felt right about it. Hoped to have found my peace.... the place I can hide.... and I can control... him. I was alright with everybody leaving me... even my mentor. I really thought that he left me alone, because it was too dangerous at my side. And.... right now.... just a minute ago.... I learned that I... no... that he got killed next to me. I can ignore the fear of getting hurt or casted out again. I can forget the fact, just for a moment, what is deep inside me. I can even stop being afraid of hurting you... trusting your strengh.... but I can't forget what I forgot for such a long time.... the death of my mentor. It wasn't an illusion. Dragon hid that memory on purpose... so that I won't suffer. And now.... it's there and it hurts. It's like he just died right now.... please give me some time. I'm... dizzy... and tired... my body still hurts... so does my heart. And because of this pain.... it drives me... to do something about all this. To stop all the pain... all the chaos... all the bloodshed and the hurting of.... of.... f...friends." ~You can feel it right? That was just a moment where your heart chakra opened. You can remember the energy spots of the spirit body can't you? If you open them you should be able to gather a lot of power. Don't be afraid! Now is the time to leave the isolation... to leave the loneliness~ Larth took the charm and put it around his neck and for a short moment, he put a smile on his face past the tears of him. |
| He still sat on the floor, listening to the words of the two. He looked at the little lucky charm Senya gave him. "Why do you concern so much? I'm.... just a strange half breed.... possessed by a Demon.... you know.... there... should be a way of getting he out of me.... in the Legacy book.... but I never dared to get close to it since.... that day. But then.... it was suddenly here and.... it brang back a lot of memories. Memories I wanted to forget." He sighted... wiped some of the left blood of his face. "It's my fault that I'm.... what I am now.... it was my arrogance.... that's a fact. I played with magic... that was too much, ignoring the warnings of my mentor. That's why he's dead now. It's alright... that I have to take.... responsibility. The.... memories were too painful.... my body was burning.... I made the deal. I HAVE to help him.... or I'm doomed with him.... but.... as long as I do it... he'll leave you alone. He won't harm anyone as long as I look for a way to free him.... he also offered help with the other Demons, because when I die... he'll die with me at the moment. Our "souls" are closely connected. I need the book to find a spell to send him back into his realm...." ~You need to believe in yourself Larth. They are both right. The most powerful weapon of this being is your insecurity. Believe in yourself! Believe in my powers and believe in this two fellows. They are friends, even if you fear these kind of connection.~ "Ms. Tall.... Tama.... I'm really greateful...really...but I... just couldn't ... bear it if I hurt more people." he clenched his fist around the charm. "I want to protect you... I HAVE to. Whatever that means. And for now... it means I really need the book or he'll try to get control again. And if he should take control again anyway.... do everything that is necessary to stop him... and me...promise me." |
ooc : It's all okay  I'm just a little bit over creative at the moment Started to play real pen and paper roleplay again, that boosted my imagination again ^^ So don't worry.

He looked at Tama, then at Senya as she hugged him. Silently he said...
"I messed.... it up. I.... was too arrogant.... I used magic I couldn't control..... I couldn't resist the Demon power.... Dragon had to rescue me.... but I had to pay the price... that's.... why people got hurt.... that's .... w..why..... h...he...had to d...die. T...they... were right. I'm... a monster. Look at this claws.... at this scales... look at the wings! I regulary loose my mind.... hurting people.... and it won't stop.... not until...."
He looked again at Tama "Where's the book? I need it! Please! Give it to me! I'll try and release this damn curse! Even if.... it doesn't matter what happens to me. As long as I won't hurt anyone anymore! I couldn't bear it if I hurt you...." |
| Larth was still laying on the floor. The twitching stopped as Tama stopped the spell. He didn't seem to really realize what Tama and Senya were saying. He looked dizzy and like his mind was far away. It took a while, then he turned around...laying on his back, staring to the ceiling. His face was covered in blood that was still flowing out of the little spots were the spikes had grown. He looked like a terrible mess... his eyes had a dull look. His wings were wide spreaded on the floor, he were completely in his normal half-dragon form... not much reminded of the boy he showed usually.... ~....arth! Larth! Can you hear me Larth? Please concentrate! Don't let go! It's not your fault! Your heart is good! Focuse on it! Feel it! Please my friend! Don't let the poison of the Demon fill you up!~ Suddenly Larth's eyes got clearer... they moved, looking at Tama.... then at Senya. He moved in a sitting position...looked at his claws... his own blood sticked to them. With a very sad look on his face he looked again at Senya and started to cry. "I....I... killed him...." |
| He moved a bit... his eyes were open and he stared on the floor... silent tears were running over his face. His voice was faint as he talked to Senya "I.... I..... deserve to die.....I...I... k...killed him. It's.... all m...my fault..." he stayed on the floor... his wings twitched from time to time and it seemed as if he had pain. Larth didn't react as Tama came. But as she started to try the spell he suddenly started to be convulsed with pain again. He wanted to scream but his voice only managed to get out a hoarse rasping sound. Tama should be able to feel that the spell can't focus on the demon only, but on Larth's whole soul... dragging on his whole body and mind balance. Somehow the Demon was already sealed... Larth wasn't possessed but the Demon sealed deep inside his soul. But the seal got somehow weaker, so the Demon is able to mess with Larths soul. It must have been an old and powerful spell that was able to do such a bond between a human-soul and a demon. But Tama should feel that there's a way she could use this kind of binding spell. She could bind Larths whole soul into the stone... giving him massive pain while ripping his soul out and chances are that it would corrupt his mind unchangeable. For now he was in pain again.... |
| The library went silent as Tama and Senya left. Some minutes passed as a heavy breathing started again. The body twitched and then suddenly he started to get himself up. His dark red glowing eyes were looking around the library. "<Lucky prey! They have already left. Should make you happy Little Dragon...shoudn't it? They'll be safe...for now! Now tell me where you have left that book of yours won't you?>" "I won't tell you anything you Demon! Back off! I won't let you harm anyone!" "<Awww how cute! And what do you think you can do? NOTHING! I'm in charge for now and you should enjoy this show. Because you're sitting in the front row. Now... tell me where the damn book is!>" "Why don't you go look for yourself! I'm sure you'll have a good time around the library." "<Well... I don't have much time. So I guess I'll just rip open your mind and get the infos myself. You should enjoy this... not many people had the privilege to feel that.>" For a moment the body stood still... then again he grabbed his head and started to scream. "GET OUT! GET OUT! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!!!!!" A minute passed... then he got down on his knees silencing. Then a smile went on his face. "<You're a smart one Little Dragon. Got your friends running away with it. And you don't even know where they are. Clever.... really clever... urgh!>" he bent forward and puked. "<Ahhh dammit! You're body can't bear much, can he? How disgusting... that remembers me why I hated to possess people...>" You're a damn monster! You won't prevail.... you won't find them. Get lost... y... you can't do anything! "<You're right... perhaps I won't find them till my powers decrease again. Without the book it isn't as much fun as I hoped to have. But you know... I won't let you spoil my little party. If I can't have fun with your friends or the book... I'll just take some private time with YOU!>" "As if you could do anything to me! You took everything I had from me. You destroyed my life. I'm hardened... you can't hurt me anymore!" A dark smile moved over his face and his voice became more threatening "<Ohhh I kept a special gift for you. Just for a special moment like this you know. A precious treasure I hid deep inside your soul... and the best thing is... Dragon did as well.>" "Sh...shut up!" "<Oh no! The best part ist just about to begin! I won't stop... not until I have the book OR you agree to my deal Little Dragon. So listen to this! You isolated yourself from all your friends...from your family. To keep them safe from me. Well it was a little bit late if you would ask me... after I... oh no you nearly killed them. But hey! Better than never!>" "Shut...u..up!" "<You thought you saved them all. That you kept your hands clean. That everyone survived. But really... did you really believed that your mentor left you behind without saying a word? Without leaving a message? THINK ABOUT IT! Remeber the last day you saw him!>" "N...no! Shu... shut... UP!!!" "<Remember it Little Dragon! See the truth that's hiding inside your soul! He wanted to see you... to heal you! He wanted to tell you a special spell for your travels! He wanted to clean your soul! REMEMBER! REMEMBER! Remember when you lost control again!>" "SHUT UP!" "<Remember when you took his ritual dagger! Remeber stab after stab that your hand made as I commanded! Remember the pain! Remember the warm blood on your hands! REMEMBER HIS DEAD STARE WITH TEARS IN HIS EYES! HAHAHAHAAAAA! DELICIOUS!>" "SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UUUUUP!!!!" "<It won't stop! Not until you make the deal! See it! Remember it! YOU killed him! His own student! He treated you like a son! And you couldn't protect him! You were too weak and your still! You can't protect anyone! You would kill again if I wanted to! REMEMBER! Look into his sad eyes! See how his life is leaking out of him! HEAR his last breath that carried your name on it!>" "STOP IT! PLEASE STOP IT! SHUT UP! IT'S A LIE!" "<You know the truth! FACE IT BABY DRAGON! REMEMBER IT! FEEL THE PAIN! MAKE THE DEAL TO END IT! SEE HIM LYING ON THE FLOOR IN HIS OWN BLOOD! FEEL YOUR HEART BURNING IN GUILT!>" "STOP IT PLEASE! I'LL DO IT! JUST MAKE IT STOP!" "<Say it! Say : I'll make the deal! DO IT!!!>" "I'LL MAKE THE DEAL! PLEASE!!!!" Silence.... the body dropped on the floor again. The spikes started to wither away, falling down. Larth breathed heavily... lying there without any strengh... just a quiet sound of crying echoed through the library..... |
| When he realized, that both Tama and Senya were next to him he dragged himself up with all the strengh he could gather under the pain... his wings twitched and his dragontail, too. "G... Get... away... from... me! HURRY! I... I... don't know... if.... I c...can h...hold it b...back! G....get the book! He... mustn't... read it! AAARRRRGGGHHH!" He collapsed again after he made some steps away from them... continued to crawl away from them just to reach a bookshelve where he pulled himself up. He breathed heavily, looked at Senya... for a moment sadness moved into his eyes... "I'm sorry" he said hoarse. Suddenly spikes grew out of his shoulders and his head, making him scream again in agony. "AHHHHH!!! GO AWAY! RUN! PLEASE! AHHHHHHHHHRRRGHHH!" Then he collapsed again... but this time he stayed down. The screaming stopped, the wings and tail stopped moving,too... and he was lying there like a dead body. But he still breathed heavily...blood was coming out of the spots where the spikes had grown. |
| Larth was just focussed on the book. He was hesitating with every further page he passed. Feeling the magic going through his fingers. While Tama and Senya were distracted by the animals, he whispered a sentence in an old dragonic language, making a special gesture with his hand over the pages... and the cryptic symbols turned to readable text. <Ahhh you want to use the book again. Haven't learned from your mistakes,eh?> Larth choked on air and took two steps back as he heard the voice again. With a low and raspy voice he said "Not now you Demon, Back off!" <Why should I? There's the book that began it all... and it can end it all,too. I can feel its power,too. So why don't you get your tiny scaly ass back to the book and look for the right formula to set me free? I'm still in a good mood... my deal is still up to date.> Larth went himself away from the book... saying towards Tama and Senya "I... I... I'm... back... in a minute!" then he moved a bit faster away from them... just somewhere deep into the library. <Awww... I just thought about how I can play with them. It's boring to play with you alone.> "Don't you dare to harm them! I won't let you take control, Demon! Get away and let me do my job here." .... "Dragon where are you?!" <Oh I blocked him out. You know... you activated the power of the book again... and I'm connected on many ways with it. Activating the book activates me too in some way. At least it makes me stronger. Didn't tell you that, huh? I'm sorry. As for you two little friends there. Why shouldn't I have some fun with them? Why should I hold back, knowing that you will look for a way to banish me forever. I don't think I like that.> Larth moved faster... he wanted to get as far away as possible. He already felt the energy of the demon grow stronger inside him. He released his real half dragon form... the scales grew... the wings and the tail. He needed his concentration for other things. "This time you won't get me. I know my mistakes... but I won't do them again! " Suddenly Larth stopped. He started to make some magical gestures. "A lot of time passed since I summoned you! I wasn't inactive in that time. I learned a lot of new things just for such situations. I won't give you your head this time!" He finished the gesture folding his hands together... then he called an ancient magical word... and it became silent... Larth breathed hard... but then he started to smile. The Demon was quiet... he sealed him away again... <Don't think you've won so fast little baby dragon! You've forgotten that I had the same time as you... and I'm far much older than you! Your little magic tricks aren't enough against my experiences. And now.... feel the pain!> Suddenly Larths whole body started to feel like it burned. The feeling grew stronger and stronger... Larth fell on the ground... screaming. The pain grew even stronger. Hot energy started to move from his stomach into his head building up a feeling of enormous pressure. He grabbed his head... lying on the ground... his screams echoed through the whole library... and even into the school hallways. |
| Larth looked at Tama and smiled, then he nodded. "Yes you're right. That's why I would start with getting Ms. Tall save. There were once a deal made with the demon, that's why he's after her. So when we go to his personal plane we can negate the deal. Then she should be safe. After that we could see how we can get rid of the demon himself, so that no one will get harmed again. For the vampire-killers : I think the easiest way for now would be a proper protection spell around the whole schoolyard. I hope that the principle of the school and the other teachers have some magical abilities. With enough people we should be able to do something like that. I'm not that arrogant that I would think that we can ban or get rid of a race as ancient as the vampire bloodline. So protection is the most secure possibility I think. I don't think that we can get all of them in the same place... not without a bait or something like that. And I don't like the idea to use someone as a bait." |

Larth looked at the library door as Tama entered, he greeted her with quick nodding. Then he continued reading in the book saying.
"I'm looking for some hints for the crow happenings. I learned something about their past... but there are big gaps. But I'm pretty sure that the crow that's following Ms. Tall isn't one of this vampire killing creatures. It feels more ancient... and the whole story doesn't fit to these vamp-killers."
He continued reading, skipping some pages.
"There! Mhhh... well... I don't really know what we should do with the vamp-killers. But I'm sure that I'd find some helpful spells in the other book. But here... perhaps we can do something about that demon crow that's follwing you. But it won't be easy. One possible way is to banish this being into another plane... but for that we need to capture it and I don't know how powerful it is. The other way would be a "travel" into the special plane of that thing. As long as he's in our world it should be hard for him to realize that we are there. In his plane we can look for the magic symbols for the deal that was made once. When we find them we should be able to break the seal of the pact and free yourself from the influence of the demon."
He turned his attention to -Draggrick's Legacy-, he hesitated... then he opened it, shivering.
"And thats.... what this book is for. I can look for the proper spell... for the travel. Or I'll look for some protection AND offensive spells. It depends on what YOU want Ms. Tall."
~It won't be easy Larth. But I'll support you as good as I can~
He looked at Senya and waited for her reaction. |
