I put the bandnames in youtube and listened to these songs:
The Crüxshadows - Perfect; This song wasn't bad, but I was studying to be a music major before I changed to education, so the wavering in and out of key made me cringe a little bit. I really like their style, though! And the lyrics to this song were very interesting, so I give them a 6/10
Assemblage 23 - Damaged; I really, really liked this song! I don't necessarily have such a dark outlook on life, so I can't exactly relate, but I can feel the passion in this song. 8/10
VNV Nation - Beloved; I liked the music, and I liked the lyrics...but the vocalist needs serious training. The lyrics were so powerful though. 7/10
Abney Park - Airship Pirate; Ohhhh goodness this is awesome haha~ 8/10
What do ya'll think are the best songs from these artists? I most likely didn't listen to their best peices of work ^^'' Or maybe I'm judging the bands without much grounds on their backgrounds as artists? Fill me in because I'm new to this genre of music!!
Alright, so here are a few of my favorite songs right now...I tend to pick favorites based on the vocal talent of the artist...so many of my favorites are either cover songs or just not sung by the original writer These are mostly by the original artist, though. Anyywayyy...Tell me what you think!
1.) "If I Die Young" - The Band Perry - cover by Sam Tsui
2.) "Replay" - Shinee
3.) "Us" - Regina Spektor
4.) "Haru Haru" - Big Bang
Yes, they're a little mainstream, but It's a weird phase I'm in, lol...so I guess that's me in a nutshell :p |

I've always wanted to cosplay, but then I found out that I have almost no talent for creating outfits. It was depressing how unfortunate my attempts were...
I'm studying to be an English teacher, so I'm using this site as a distraction from RL lol...
I haven't heard of any of that music...gonna have to check it out here in a bit...
