Chic Presents: Avatar Survivor

Outdress, outstyle, outlast

It's survival of the chic-est in Chic's most extensive and challenging event yet! For the next month, our members will be competing against fellow cult members daily in order to be the last one standing. Do they have the fashion sense to come out on top and be CHIC's first ever Avatar Survivor?

Avatar Survivor is a month long event, with a different challenge each day. Each day, one contestant is eliminated until there is one final winner. Every day contestants submit their avatar for the following day's theme, and the cult votes on whose avatar they liked the LEAST.

While voting will take place on the Chic forums, we will be posting the submissions here daily, so all Subeta players can discuss who they think is the ultimate avatar survivor!

This event will last from July 1, 2009 to approx. July 29, 2009.

WEEK ONE:

1) 5 Items Only - No more, no less.
2) CHIC Admin Day - Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so they say. Imitate your favorite admin's style today.
3) Hold Me - Must include a handheld item.
4) Poo Happens - Sometimes, things just don't go your way. Illustrate a real life accident or tragedy.
5) No Fake Hair - Bad extensions? Gross wigs? Not today! Use default hair only!
6) Career Day - Dress up for work, and stop slouching!
7) Hometown Hero - Dress in the fashions and/or colors of their home country, while still looking fabulously fashionable.

WEEK 2

8) Clutterlove Make it cluttered, with CHIC style.
9) Boring Less is more sometimes. How good can you look wearing all one color? No neutrals; varying shades acceptable.
10) Eco-Friendly Use these colors:

11) Dress to a Song Title Make yourself look as good as the song sounds! (Note: You are getting inspiration from a song's title, not the lyrics. Neither are you cosplaying your favorite artist or music video.)
12) Baby Got Back Coordinate your avatar with a backdrop, but be careful it doesn't take over the outfit!
13) Fantasy Fashion Time to dig out your wings, antennae, and cloven hooves! Dress up as a fashion-forward mythological creature today.
14) Store Bought Only restockable items purchased for sP. No cash shop, token shop, Millionaire Center or Blackheart Hollow items; no free gifts, trivia prizes, battle or contest rewards. If it didn't give you restocking royalty points, don't wear it. (Retired items are allowed.)

WEEK 3

15) GO BIG OR GO HOME The antithesis to Store Bought Day. You must only use items from the cash shop, token shop, Millionaire Center, Blackheart Hollow, free gifts, trivia prizes, or other battle or contest rewards. The more elite, the better.
16) Made in July Must include at least one item from any July Collection or Donation Present.
17) Jazz Use these colors:

18) Say Hello to My Little Friend(s)! Today is a tribute to followings, Liam and Lily Lace, fairies, and all the other little HA friends. Choose one to wear and make it chic.
19) Restrain Yourself Put on just one item from each layer.
20) Art Start Create an avatar based on a famous painting. Please provide a reference image.
21) Express Yourself Create an avatar using an actual facial expression. Be the emotion!

WEEK 4

22) Granny Chic Can you make the old look hip without breaking one?
23) Blast from the Past Contestants will base an avatar around a wearable that was immensely popular in the past, but is outdated now. This is the perfect excuse to pull out your Baby Angel Wings, Magical Pants, Chikki Headdress, Extra Long Multicolored Scarf, or other vintage items. You know you've been wanting to anyway.
24) Chain Gang Create an avatar using chains as an accessory. Chain wallet, neck chains, chained rings, chained pocket watches! So much to choose from!
25) Legendary Lovin' Integrate one Legendary weapon into your avatar.

@ - You forgot to add that it was 5 miles UPHILL BOTH WAYS.

On a related note, on my school's campus, you somehow do find yourself walking uphill both ways to and from class. It sucks.

AND I GOT RAINED ON SO BAD OMG.

I got home and had to change clothes sjgh. IT WAS LIKE I HAD BEEN WADING IN THE NILE OR SOMESHET. Minus the alligatorsnappings.
