@DuhBlond im doing good getting ready for a arty and BBQ i am having saturday cuz i will be starting my job pretty soon .... how have you been?thanks i actually just tossed my HA together as i was due for a change in looks and now that i have got that wig from the TS i will be putting together a new HA later on tonight once Bryan goes to sleep and isnt gonna be bugging me LOL

We're still looking here ourselves but I'm still working on crafty things in the meantime gearing up for a couple sales in a few weeks so maybe something will happen there. And *still* need to get some goods into our Etsy shop and get the link out for those here who were interested in seeing our wares.And thanks, also, for taking on that last lot of stickers. Trying to get the last couple of the fruit and beach ones for complete sets but that may take a while, lol. |

@Monsoon welcome i need all them stickers :| i will def have to take a few and get to the item inventory building LOL after i get caught up on stuff here and get a bit of cash saved up i will get one of your crafty things  i am also trying to talk a friend of mine into going to Nashville Tennessee and trying a go at music as he is damn good at it .... wish he was not so down on himself he thinks he isnt good and he is!!!

Even if you don't buy anything, if you're like me you like to "window shop", lol!Oh! Tell him to GO! Even if it ends up being a no-go for him, he should at least TRY. You never know unless you take a shot at least. |

I'm good. So sleepy right now though and I just got to work. I am happy though. I got my nails done and some new tank top and shoes. These shoes I have wanted forever. I am now a mini mod. I mini the Gold Accounts forum.

@Peelsa -squishes- sometimes i agree, but then i just look at @kal and am like.. crap. i am a lazy s.o.b.  @sassysubsis and thats just another reason that i love everyone here. the unconditional love - and its reciprocated! btw- that is one MASSIVE bbq.. damn it sounds good.. and makes me hungrier. finished the papers. i need to read an entire book tonight, but i want rewards for my hard work first haha. thus i am shopping for csc so i can open goodies. i will be around for awhile until i at least finish dinner -squishes all-

@reborn LOL i used to drive from GA to where i am now every month so yes i know it is a long ass drive as i used to drive from GA to TN as well when i lived down there ....we will have to work it out so you can come to my next BBQ which will be next summer hoping to get a few of the ladies from the CCA to come and partake in the excitement

I'm planning on starting to make nice big dinners (main dish, side or two, desert) and invite friends over. So I'm making a list of what I already know how to make and adding to them to make whole meals.And hoping you maybe want to help me balance them? What would be a good 'side' for some green chile chicken enchiladas? Would homemade peach cobbler be a weird desert for that? What would it go better with?

@Maria maybe a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side of the cobbler to cleanse the palette but i think it would be good ..... but i am a bit on the odd side LOL

lol thanks MJ. My friend gave me a great recipe for one today, so now I want to try it out on someone. Good to know about the ice cream I don't like any sweets myself, so I won't be trying it, so hopefully it's good.

@Maria green chile chicken enchiladas sound great (wants recipe). maybe you could do theme dinners, it might help you decide what would go with what. peach cobbler is more southern to me idk. I never have planned a menu so I am clueless. My only advice would be if the dinner is heavy keep the desert light. And if your guests enjoy it who cares

@Maria i am not a huge sweets fan either but i know my grams always used to tell me that after a savory or spicy main dish that the vanilla ice cream pretty much cleans your taste buds off so that the main meal and the dessert dont clash together and it makes it so both can be enjoyed on their own level

@Maria like tracy said, the cobbler is a bit southern- it would go well with any southern dish, like country fried steak, chicken dumplins, etc i like the theme idea, because then you can be certain that the courses match. thus the enchiladas with mexican sides (rice) and desserts (flan/ fried ice cream)
