Meow with any questions or suggestions for information you'd like to see added to this thread.------------------------------- Owning/Disowning a Pet ------------------------------- Go to Pets located under the Personal menu tab, then click the Create a Pet link located at the top of the "My Pets" page. Yes! Pets that have been abandoned go to the Adopt are Us located in Veta Lake. Yes! Under your pet options is a Give Pet to Friend link which will allow you to send pets to friends you have accepted as your buddies. Pets can be abandoned to the Adopt are Us by clicking the Abandon Pet under your pet options. Please note that abandoning a pet costs 10,000sp and any items the pet has on it will be lost. When abandoned Hydrus pets change to Common and Bumbus pets become Kumos. Pet Rank is determined by the combined value of a pet's Level, Health, Strength, Defense and Speed. ------------------------------- Pet Slots ------------------------------- - Normal Users may keep up to 5 pets. - Gold Account Users may keep up to 10 pets. If your gold account expires and you abandon a pet, you can not reuse that pet slot until you renew your gold account. You can now purchase additional pet slots from your Pets page. One pet slot costs 2000 CSC. Subeta members of 2 years or more are awarded a Loyalty Box, inside that box is a selection of reward totems, including a pet slot totem which will grant the user 1 additional pet slot.   ------------------------------- Changing Your Pets ------------------------------- Yes, you can change your Pet's name but accessing their options menu from your Pets page; a pet name change costs 500 CSC. Both Zappers can change pet genders, though this method is risky as they have other effects. A Sex Berry will swap your pet's gender with no other side effects.  A Genderless Berry will remove your pet's gender with no other side effects.  ------------------------------- There are a number of ways to color your pets and change their species. - The main method of coloring pets is by the use of potions (i.e. Lilac Potion, Glade Potion). The only colors that do not use a potion are Hydrus, Steamwork and Galactic which are colors granted by quests. - Another option is species elixirs (e.g. Lilac Feli Elxir, Dawn Demi Elixir), these elixirs change your pet to the color AND species of the elixir. Elixirs are only available in common colors (common, arid, cream, dawn, dusk, field, golden, lilac, marsh, sun, twilight) and bloodred. Please note that not all combinations of colors and pets may be available yet. - There is a chance to change your pet's color by using the V2 Zapper on Atebus, or the original Zapper on the fair grounds. This is a very risky method as it can also change your pet's species, pet's gender, stats and the V2 can also transform or destroy attached minions or the items in your inventory. ------------------------------- Special Colors and Species ------------------------------- Galactic is one of the colors granted by a quest, the quest is only available on the 6th and 7th of every month on Atebus by turning in gems dug up from the Coda Caves to the Gypsy Iltallo. By bringing Merana spell ingredients that she requests, she will 'bless' your chosen pet with the marvelous hydrus look. By taking your pitcher to Peka Glade, which is open every day from 8AM-8:59AM, and 8PM-8:59PM Subeta time and filling it with water the pitcher will turn into a Glade Potion. While wandering the Polar Ice Field, if you happen to stumble upon a Bucket of Polar Water, combining it with Artificial Prism Chalice from the Millionaire Center at Asmodeus's Lab will grant you a Glacier Potion.   Steamwork pets require two items, a Yunium Key and the schematic for the pet you would like. A Yunium Key can be created at Asmodeus's Lab by combining Yunium Ore, a Steamwork Key Stone Mold, and a Melting Kettle. Pet schematics can be ordered from Purveyors of Plans and may take a few days to be delivered. With your schematics and key in inventory, visit Isaac Yun at Full Steam Ahead to order your steamwork pet, which takes a few days to be crafted. A reminder that items available in Subeta main shops can also be purchased from user shops. Note: While you can make one of your current pets Steamworks, only newly created pets will receive the steamwork gender and built date.      Bumbus pets are available to adopt from the Blue Building located in Centropolis after gaining access by completed a short list of tasks. Bumbus' can only be adopted by the user entering the blue building, if abandoned they turn into kumos. To have access to the Crystal Room where you create the Bhakoru you must have taken part in the Steele Excavation Plot. The Crystal Room is where you can create a new Bhakoru, or change one of your current pets into one. Please see this thread with more information about Vanya's Workshop and the Nostalgic pets. ------------------------------- Pet Treasures ------------------------------- Pet Treasure Chests are your pets own storage. Each pet has their own unique treasure chest. Their treasures can be filled with any items you'd like. When first created all pets start with 3 slots. Under your Pet's personal menu next to the Edit Treasure link you can view the total number of treasure slots the pet has as well as how many of them are being used. Events; there is a random event that will grant spots to a random pet. Zapper V2; the V2 Zapper located on Atebus will sometimes grant treasure spots. Magical Keepsake Boxes can be purchased from the Millionaire Center for 150k and grant 1-3 treasure chest slots.  Multi-Compartment Keepsake Box can be purchased from the Cash Shop for 500 CSC and grant 10-15 treasure chest slots.  Loyalty Treasure Chest Totem can be chosen from the membership Loyalty Boxes and grant 10 treasure slots to ALL pets.  Go to your pet's treasure chest edit page via your pet options then clicking the 'Remove Item' link to remove it. Go to your My Pets page, click on a pet to bring up their options menu and click 'Edit Treasure'.
