Ha, well a long time ago probably 2 years ago, I was bringing my dish down to be washed, my sister jinxed me by saying, Don't fall down the stairs
I said, I won't I wasn't paying attention to the stairs when saying that so I slipped, and ended up sliding down the stairs, more like surfing, I ended up catching myself, before I hit the wall.
The food got everywhere, so I ended up having to clean up the floor, wasn't that bad...

I've never done that but I'd always slide down stairs on my butt. I have a fear of walking down stairs (not walking up them, oddly enough) and scooting down them really helped me.
I'd also have safari journeys on my stairs... but that's another story.
@CrookedVein Ouch, that must of hurt...even in blankets are painful, especially if you can't really see well when going down the stairs xD @Jirachi Lol, me and my brother always went up and down when we got bored xD until we got tired...
Last time I surfed down the stairs, I was wearing my cycling clip shoes and bruised the hell out of my thigh and hip. DX
My fault for attempting to go down the stairs in shoes that have NO tread. LOL
Pssh. You want fun and stairs? What you do is, get a sleeping bag-the kind that's all smooth and cool and slippery-sit in it, and just slide down the stairs. SO MUCH FUN.
When I was about 5 or 6 I had these full bodied PJs. The ones with the footie things. There was plastic on the bottom of the foot and an oval of it on my stomach. I know they sound strange but this was late 80's early 90's. Anywho, I'd put those on and slide down the stairs on my stomach. Talk about a very fast and bumpy ride. I think that's actually where I might have gotten my fear of heights. Of corse the best past was that it drove my parents batty.

My dog booby-traps the stairs. I think she might have it in for me. Every time I am carrying a load of laundry or some other large object that obstructs my vision, one of her tennis ballas has been strategically placed there so that I have to try not to trip on it, lol.
Not exactly that, but, I have a food-dropping story.
I used to live with my father and he had 3 step-children. Usually they went with him and their mother to my father's tattoo shop afterschool. These kids were between the ages of 7-12. Needless to say, I usually stayed home nights and enjoyed the few hours of quiet.
One time I was blasting reggae music in the living room and dancing like crazy (something I really liked doing when I had the house to myself). I got hungry and decided to make some chicken strips, with lots of honey mustard on the side. I was dancing into the living room when SLAM the front door came open. Scared me so bad I tripped on the coffee table and spilled all my chicken strips and honey mustard on the floor. Standing in the doorway were the three kids, stunned at what had just happened.
I didn't know their mother was dropping them off at the house: she never bothered to tell me I was to watch them for a few hours.
I was so mad (not at them) that after I cleaned up the awful mess I had made on the floor, I made them all go to their own rooms and do stuff quietly for the rest of the night. XD
When my mom was at work me and my brother and sister used take a blanket and some pillows and slide down the stairs. Then our mom caught and said never to do it again. Of couse being like 7, 8, and 10 at the time we didn't listen.
I can't remember jinxing myself tough
We had some cardboard boxes at the top of our staircase from when we moved in, so I got in one and 'surfed' down the stairs.
It was really fun!
I'm sure I used to do it with duvets when I was younger too.. Just lay them out on the stairs, and curl the front around you and hold on to it. The soft knda breaks your fall too. Awesome.
When I was about 3 I rolled down the stairs. XD Not very pleasant..
At around the same time, I got stuck inside a blanket. o__o

I did it once at school when i was in year9 about three years ago, Thankfully it was only me a teacher and three of my close friends.
It was quite funny really, my blazer sort of looked like a sheet as it came down a few seconds after me LOL
I used to do that, I'd get the mattress I would sleep on, and let my sister and brother get on, then go down like a sled on a hill. So much fun.. only it didn't last too long, and sometimes it hurt.
And I've fallen down the stairs more times then you would think. And my brother laughed once at me.
I used to go to my friends house, and there were some steep, carpeted, steps to the basement. We took blankets from beds and cushions from couches and piled it up at the bottom. Then we would just from about 15 steps up and land in the the pile Sometimes we would jump from really far up. Now that I think about it though, we both should have broken limbs...
