FAQ

Q: Can I enter traditional art?
A: Yes

Of course. You may enter any media. Even animations are accepted -
If I get more than 5 animation entries (from 5 different people, that is) I will start
a special prize category for that

Q: Is it ok to draw realistic-style?
A: Yes

Q: Is flat color accepted? Or do we have to shade?
A: Yes it is accepted - you do not need to shade, but I would love it if you did considering the prize ammounts

Q: What if there are less than 4 entries, let's say 2, does this means me and someone else is battling for the first or second place?
A: That means you two will be battling over only the first place - 2nd and third will only be given for more than 5 entries (from different persons), and if i dont find any of the entries funny or that one has already won first prize, that prize will not be awarded either.

Q: Is it ok if I put my name on it? Not across the picture, just up close against the pony so that nobody else sees it and claims that they made it?
A: Of course

It is YOUR art even though it is my characters, and you ahve the rights to mark your works to protect it

Q: Do we have to draw each of them, or is just one pony okay?
A: You do not have to draw all of them, you decide yourself which one(s) you want to draw ^^

Q: Can we draw a picture that includes more then one of them?
A: As it says in the rules, yes you may

I might enter... once I get a hold oh my scanner i can get it up... or atleast start....I'm kindoff in the middle of nowhere xDD .... ok next to a Bandy stadium but it's very snowy and and.... we don't have much t do here xDDD

Anyways i want to enter so be prepared to see an entry frm me as soon as i can!

Hmmm, I never enter these sort of things, but your WinterSparkle intrigues me...
If we have at least a couple days to enter, I'll give it a shot. I love ponies of any kind, and Unipegs are my favorites!

Only the refs of WS and Cloud, but WS was created before I found this generator, I just used it to get a ref pic and the mande and tail color + symbol is my own doing in photoshop

plus I just used the gen for good to know what looked good as for fadings on legs etc

I had his design in my head before already.

These two pics are just temporary I will change them as soon as I can get better refs through commissions, contests or myself

Ok, I'm almost done with mine, but I have two questions:
1 - I can save it as a .png with a transparent background if you would like, so that you can use it on a website banner or something. If not, I can add a pretty gradient background. Any color preferences?
2 - Is it ok if I put my name on it? Not across the picture of course, just up close against the pony so that nobody else sees it and claims that they made it.

In color preferences if you decide to do a background, just go with what goes with the pony

I decided to draw a realistic Etna. I always viewed My Little Ponies as draft horses, so there she is. The reason there is no phoenix is because she is laying on right side. Hope you like it.

I draw Disney-ish, so he kind of looks like Pegasus from Hercules.... XD

:B I don't draw horses too often, but I did Cloud's picture and got hooked haha So out popped all three of those pictures. Hopefully, they're what you want (I can't draw inanimate objects very well, so Cloud's marking is a little wonky) and I seemed to put all of them in positions where their symbols wouldn't be shown... grah. If you want me to fix that, I can work on the markings and invert the pictures so some of them have their symbols.

A small notice. I'm a user from ponyisland and Ponyisland.net is a website. The Winged Unicorns and pegasus (and every other horse breed on the website) are drawn by Lunarstar on Ponyisland.net, so you might want to mention that in your reference pictures.
