Painting HELP Needed!!!!

My friend is having a baby and I wanted to give her a painting of her and her pregnant self; I have it sketched out and in my mind its desent.



However, the only things I've ever painted are a water coloured background and a model house I build in art so I'm at a loss about what to use or how to use it.



If anyone has any tips PLEASE suggest them because I'm a total noob at this!!
