Other Information: Alacer doesn't smile as much. He's more of a crudely/vulgar sarcastic person who often smirks and smiles for a lot of the "negative" things. He's a huge playboy, but ironically he has a girlfriend Suay, who is the complete opposite - but isn't the main character haha. He messes around w/ girls alot, but he still really likes Suay even though he hardly ever shows it, and if he does he treats it like something normal and downgrades it. He's a pro DJ mixer who loves to party and "drink" (root beer); acts like the bad boy causing alot of trouble and getting into a lot of fights but doesn't smoke or drink alcohol. Heh.

A short summary of what his story is about:
Arcoiris used to paint everything with his "spectrum powers" (he painted with his tail) and make everything look happy. He really enjoyed it, and did it for a long time. But one day, he run our of the spectrum powers to paint the world. He was really sad with this because the world wouldn't look so colorful and happy. So, he started to collect colorful things, and decorate everything with them, so he could "paint" again and make the world happy.

Character(s): A girl called Jocelyne who is all crazy about Vintage, Ballet and stuff. Her pet form will be a Glacier Sheeta (she's held by my boyfriend until I get my loyalty box in a few days C: ), you can see her soon-to-be profile with a human reference (the blonde girl on the left) here, maybe it helps you with getting a "feeling" for/the gist of her character? Basically, Jocelyne, Joyce for short, is a Finnish girl who was born to a very noble and rich family. Her mum is a tough high-society business woman and wants the shy and somewhat naive Joyce to be a successful business woman, too, although Joyce is more the kind of girl who sticks to herself and likes playing instruments. Her mother usually dictates what she should do without noticing that her daughter might have other needs/opinions and Jocelyne is way too polite and timid to say a thing, so she ends up doing what her mother wants. Joyce's father simply has no clue of how to bring up kids, so he does wrong all the time and expects too much, is too strict, etc. Jocelyne is not very popular in the all-girls school she goes to, either, as people tend to interpret her silentness and the pricey jewelry she's wearing as arrogance.
I'm planning on writing a background-story-thingy myself, but what I'd like you to write is a certain moment in her life:
Joyce has a ballet performance in Budapest, Hungary, and while she's sitting in the auditorium and waiting for it to be her turn, she notices Artur, a guy who is applauding for his girlfriend who sings on the stage, and it's love at first sight for Jocelyne. Of course she doesn't have the courage to say anything to him/them, not even at the after-show party. On her way home, she watches them through the window of a restaurant while they're laughing with friends and chinking glasses and Joyce is all sad and is sure that she could never compare to Artur's beautiful and talented girlfriend Marleen, so she leaves with her head hanging.
Feel free to change the situation if the one I described is...well, not doable or something. And don't hesitate to ask about more chracter info if you need it! ♥

Tone/Genre: Somewhat depressive-romantic I guess xD
Other Information: As I said, you can do another situation of Joyce's life if the one described is not doable/too boring/short/... The only thing that shouldn't be changed of course is her background situation/the "feel" of her character (I once had someone write a story for me who made a polite and loveable boy act all nasty and arrogant

), but I'm sure that's actually logical, haha.

This isn’t what I wanted…

I never wanted to feel this way. I never wanted to hate you. I never wanted to hate anyone. But least of all you…

You know what they say. Nothing turns to hate as quickly as something that was once love. Sometimes the line between the two is so blurred, it’s like walking on the edge of a knife. A knife that’s buried deep in your stomach, twisting and turning, ripping everything in path until it works its bloody way up into your chest, into your heart. Until you’re choking on it.

That’s what love is. Love is not patient or kind. Love is cruel, and love will rip you up and tear up down until there’s nothing left but a lacerated mass of emotions that used to be you. You will look at your reflection and wonder who is staring back at you. Are those really your eyes? How can they look so … empty? They are dull and dark, scattered with flames that no longer burn with any passion or desire, but rather smolder like the ruins of a decimated city.

I see those eyes. They flicker briefly against the glistening steel of my sai as I toss it casually into the cool night air, again and again. Up … down. Up … down. Following the rhythm of his steps as he approaches. His boots echo softly against the cobblestone. Nearer and nearer he comes, and his step never falters. I can imagine how he must look. Beautiful. Elegant. Confident.

Arrogant.

Everything I remember.

I wish my heart would follow the same slow, easy beat of his footsteps. I wish it wasn’t jack hammering away, racing at a million miles per minute. Surely my body is not enough to keep its raw force contained. Surely, in a moment, it will burst right from my chest and save me the agony this terrible but inevitable reunion will certainly bring. I almost hope for it.

Then the sound of his footsteps abruptly stops, bringing the pounding of my heart to a screeching halt along with it. I have to remind it to start beating again.

Up … down. Up … down.

It takes all the effort I can muster to keep the sai going in that same light, effortless way, as if I feel nothing, when in fact I feel everything. Every emotion I thought I had buried long ago surges within me with renewed ferocity like a tidal wave of pure, destructive power. Love, anger, hate, betrayal, more love. They all sear through me, but I give him nothing as I raise my head to look at him for the first time.

He is everything I remember and more. Everything that makes my heart ache.

“You have some kind of nerve.” My voice doesn’t quiver. Instead, it shimmers like an angry bell, but his confident façade never wavers. His face is made of cold stone, and his eyes are black as still pools in the moonlight. I can’t move him. I never could.

“You had to know I would come eventually.” His velvety voice whispers like fingers sliding slowly down my spine, and I shiver. “I made you wait too long, but finally I have come.” He smiles then, but the look is not one I have seen him wear before. It’s a small smile, slow and almost sad, filled with emotions I don’t understand, not from him. “And here you are, waiting for me.”

With a quick, fluid flex of my wrist I clench the sai from its graceful arch, bringing it to my side and crouching into my ready position.

“I’m not waiting for you, you selfish boy.” I spit the words. “I haven’t been. I don’t need you.”

“Peace, Sieglinde. I haven’t come back for you, not in the way you think.” His words both calm and enrage me, but I force my quivering muscles to relax. There is silence between us, filled only with the sounds of the quietly whispering breeze and echoes of words left unspoken. He stands like a shadowy statue before me, and I wonder if he will ever speak again. Or if he will simply fade into the blackness of night, leaving me without even the satisfaction of closure.

But before I can begin to hope or fear that he will disappear, he does speak again.

“I have a gift for you.”

He reaches out to me, and in his hand is a single crimson rose, the most beautiful I have ever seen. I stretch out a wary arm to take it from him. I stare blankly at it for a moment, and to my surprise, I am not moved. I drop it to the ground with careless indifference, and stare up at him with emotionless eyes. I am met by that same sad, strange smile.

“That is only part of the gift. The other part … is not a true gift. I am simply returning to you what is yours.”

My stoic composure falters for the briefest of moments. “I don’t understand. There is nothing of mine that you have, nothing I desire from you. Nothing could be worth seeing you again.”

“There is something.” He spreads his arms wide in a gesture that leaves him defenseless. “I am giving you my life. It is yours to take, or yours to return to me. But either way, for this moment, it is yours.” His black eyes flicker to the sai I hold in my trembling hand. My breath catches like a knife in my chest. I can feel my pulse pounding like wild thunder through my veins. No...

His face is a flawless mask of perfect serenity. I feel him waiting for me, watching me. His eyes bore holes through me. My heart pounds against my chest like a caged lion, fighting to escape.

He stares at me. I stare back.

Tha-thump.

So much anger ... I grit my teeth.

Tha-thump.

So much hate ... My grip on the sai tightens.

Tha-thump.

So much...

Tha-thump...

Hey, guys. I just wanted to give you a little update. I got swamped with a couple group projects that went horribly wrong, but I just turned them all in today. I have finals next week, but nothing too strenuous (couple short papers and one test). What that means is that I'm going to have all three of your stories done on or before May 8. I know your stories have taken much longer than I initially anticipated, so I wanted to let you all know what was going on.

Acroiris

It is the power of color that makes the world happy.

Skating over landscapes full of dashing blues, brilliant yellows, charming greens... what more could a unicorn want? Arcoiris loved color, and he loved being the world's artist.

For a very long time, he had been able to use his long tail to add a sparkle of color to the hills he lived in. With his spectrum powers, given to him from the rainbows themselves, he felt overwhelming joy at his ability to paint the world with vibrancy and hope. For what makes others happier than seeing cheerful flowers in purples and reds and oranges?

Underneath the skies of smiling clouds, he would run with his friends. Arcoiris loved it when their faces would light up with marvel and delight. "Look at the bold colors on that tulip! Only Arcoiris could have made something so beautiful."

As time wore on, though, the colors faded from his tail, and he found that he could no longer paint. The hills he lived in, while nice, lost the brilliance that had once made the place the envy of the world. Why, even the grass seemed dimmer than it once had been, and Arcoiris's friends noticed. Their faces would no longer light up with the same delight when they ran around the hills. Everything just seemed so... so normal.

Down at a river tucked between the hills, Arcoiris mulled over this problem. Without his ability, the world no longer looked so colorful and happy. What could he do to bring surprise and delight to others once again?

He kicked an orange hoof down at the ground in frustration and noticed a small pile of rainbow jellybeans that a child must have dropped. The world still has color, he thought. I just need to find a new way to paint with it!

The winking sun turned so that it was just a little more north, because it wanted to get a better view of Arcoiris's home. Inside his dwelling in those charming hills, the unicorn had found a way to be an artist again. The home spilled over with colorful food, stickers, clothes, and trinkets. The wide array of colors and the effervescence of the objects attracted the attention of all of the local residents.

Arcoiris would throw his doors open each morning and welcomed all who wanted to come marvel at his collection. Being able to hear their happy tones as they spoke in awed voices made him hum with happiness. He had found a way to paint again.

And what makes the world happier than color?

Joyce

The music hummed throughout the auditorium and did nothing to calm Joyce's nerves. She fingered the edge of her tutu and mentally went over her routine.

This was not where she wanted to be.

She was unhappy at the all-girls school she attended her in Budapest, Hungary. But her mother was overbearing and dominant, and Joyce had never been given an option to voice her discontent. It wasn't Joyce's fault she came from a wealthy family, but as much as she wanted to reach out to her classmates, her fear of looking or saying something foolish stopped her. Unfortunately, her peers had decided that Joyce's silence and wealth meant she was arrogant, and they shunned her.

So here she was, at her school's talent show, about to perform for a group of people she knew despised her.

The vocalist, a rather beautiful and talented girl named Marleen, hit a high note, and Joyce was reminded of what she was supposed to be doing. She peered around the auditorium and spotted Marleen's friends. They were in the front row sitting around some male.

Artur.

Joyce had heard of him before, but this was the first time she had seen him. She leaned forward to get a better view. Artur's eyes were completely fixed on Marleen, not ready or willing to take notice of Joyce. But they were strong, sure eyes that sparkled with happiness and pride at his girlfriend's talent.

He had dark, rich hair that Joyce's hand ached to run through. In his dark suit, he looked dashing, and she knew from the envious glances of the other girls, that he must have a charming and wonderful personality. Her breath caught in her throat, and she had to force herself to make a hasty exhale. Will he look at me like that when I perform? She hoped he would, and she hoped he wouldn't, lest his gaze reach out and capture her.

After the show — for she hadn't been able to spot Artur during her performance — she sought him out backstage. With his devotion to Marleen, Joyce knew he would be back here to congratulate her. To give her flowers. To hold her in a warm hug.

As she pulled on a jacket, she finally heard Marleen's unmistakable laugh, as even her normal voice was as musical and light as her singing. Joyce tried to look inconspicuous as she turned toward Marleen, and there he was. In the light, he was even more handsome than he had been in the auditorium. She willed her feet to move toward them, because she could maybe meet him under the pretense of congratulating Marleen. But she froze, and with a shiver, she turned back to packing her things.

Padding out quietly into the street, Joyce walked home alone. Her mother was occupied with business, and while her father tried, he didn't know what a child needed, so neither of them had come. The night was still and calm, but Joyce's heart was still racing with anxious excitement. Artur. Artur.

She turned down the town's main street, for it was the fastest way back home. And there, clearly shown underneath the restaurant's bright lights, was Artur. He had his arm around Marleen, and they were laughing, drinking, and sharing stories with their friends. It was a celebration party for her performance. One that Joyce was not invited to, didn't even know about, and she stood outside feeling frozen and small.

Why was she even dreaming of Artur when it was so obvious: she could never compare to Marleen. Marleen was beautiful and charming and well-liked. Who would think of Joyce when Marleen was around?

But still she wished that Artur would turn out and smile at her, for her. It was a wasted wish, though, for Artur's gaze never drifted out into the street where Joyce was.

With heavy footsteps, she tore her body away from the scene and forced herself to continue walking. She tucked her head down and covered it with her left arm, lest someone see the pain that was so clearly painted across her face.

Oh, Artur.

Toshi

His fingers danced confidently across the keyboard as his eyes quickly scanned through the rows and rows of binary coding.

It was a quiet day as one of the Heaven's Gate programmers, and Toshi was glad to have the gatehouse to himself. His lazy but generally well meaning friend Anpu had conveniently skipped out on work today, so Toshi was left aloneto manage the controls by himelf.

Here, he was confident and in control. He was well-known for his programming and hacking skills, and Toshi felt proud of his abilities. Going to work, while not always the most exciting activity, was one of the small pleasures in Toshi's life.

The other was him. Vires.

Vires was a strong, quiet guardian at Heaven's Gate. From his position in the gatehouse, Toshi was frequently able to sneak glances outside toward the place Vires stood. On warm days like today, he could even open up the windows under the pretense of needing some air movement in the stuffy building. Then, for the rest of the day, he could overhear Vires's conversations. Vires would occasionally hold conversations with himself, and Toshi found his deep voice hypnotizing. It was an easy way to learn more about Vires without having to risk —gulp — actually talking to the man.

Toshi scratched his head and peered around. Through the blue haze of his glasses, he saw that it was quiet today. No one was outside of Heaven's Gate at the moment.

He pulled his laptop out from its carrying case and turned it on. Typing quickly, he maneuvered through a program of his own design. Its sole purpose was to run Internet searches to seek out updated information on Vires. "Come on," he mumbled, tapping on the desk impatiently. He really shouldn't spend too much time doing a personal task, even on a slow day, for his job could quickly become busy.

The program's maddening loading image finally disappeared and rows of information popped up. Toshi had read through most of them at one point or another in his search to learn more about Vires. There were small stars next to the links that Vires enjoyed reading the most. As his eyes scanned over the page, though, he felt disheartened; there was nothing new to read.

He closed the laptop with a resounding click and then turned his attention back outside. Casting furtive glances at the man's back, Toshi inhaled sharply.

The day was stifling with heat, and Vires's navy tank was clinging to his body with sweat. It was a good, strong, masculine look, but Toshi's face quickly reddened in embarrassment. He turned back to the computer screen when he overheard Vires starting in on one of his conversations with himself.

What was he saying?

He put a gloved hand up to his ear and strained to hear. Oh. His heart fell with disappointment. Vires was practicing a conversation he hoped to have later with Suay, a self-conversation Vires practiced more and more frequently these days.

Pounding on the keys a little harder than he needed to, Toshi hoped Vires would stop soon. He was well aware that Vires had a one-sided affection for the girl, but Suay was thankfully taken. When Toshi heard Vires's voice become low and sad, he banished the mean thought. He knew full well the pain of unrequited love.

Blinking rapidly, he willed his throbbing heart to subside and calm. He felt sweaty and cold and closed his eyes briefly when the door kicked open, and Anpu strolled in with a purpose. "Looks like something's coming." Toshi's face hardened and his eyes filled with purpose. Clicking through the programs on the screen, he focused on his job.

He promised himself that his affections would have to wait. Just wait a little while longer.

Character(s): Sails. Hes an OC, C: Human, is mainly what i see him as so id like that to be what you write him as please C:
Hes a Heavy build man, with dark brown, dishevelled hair. He wears a loose cream 'Pirate-y' Shirt along with loose brown trousers, A cutlass on his back and a slight case of undead about him. You see he works for Davie jones, the Keeper of the seas and the ferrier of lost souls to the underworld. If they dont wish to die they can choose to join his crew and live forever. Albeit at a price. Sails has two long feeler like horns than run the length of his back and a few spines that jet out of his shirt from his spine.
He is a jolly ship's cook, who has a soft spot for rats, One particular rat 'Cookie' Helps him cook all the meals. Hes usually happy and doesn't mind his current uhh 'living arrangement' (If you need anymore feel free to ask C: )

Format: A Short/Medium Creative story?
Tone/Genre: Uhh Action? Im not really sure Comedy is always good too c:
Other Information: Early to mid 18th century (The same time frame as the Pirates of the Caribbean movies if that helps?) Id like to depict a short segment on how he died and then his life on the fly Dutchmen. He died when he fell of his old ship in a fierce storm and drowned. He was picked up and decided he did not want to die yet and asked to join the Dutchmen's crew. Hes now their ships cook, Even if their undead they there never full! Silly Pirates XD Its suposed to be light hearted XD A different thing for most of my pets so i was hoping to keep him that way C:
