So i finally get my braces off!
And i get home, and realize, that i'm in pain.
So i tell my dad, he's confusing me. So he just decided to call the orthodontist. So he did, turns out that they think my teeth might be more sensitive then most, that's why it's causing me pain.
Are you kidding?! So i have to wear it, and when i take it out to eat, my teeth slowly stop hurting. Dad doesn't think that weird, i do....anyway, i'm gonna stop ranting now.
So CC, anything odd like that happen to you? I wanna know.
Ping me.

Nothing odd happened to me today... Not yet.
I hope the pain goes away, I don't like it when people hurt.

ouch, sounds like it sucks being you. :c
I just got braces in June, and the first few days were hell. Now it's just the occasional tooth or two that are sore.
I'm sorry to hear your retainer hurts. How long do you have to keep it on?

For me, my braces hurt for like 2 weeks, made me so angry!

For 2 months i have to wear it 24/7, then i'm going back, and the orthodontist decides whether or
not to let me just wear it at nights.

I think I wore my retainer for a week after getting my braces off. One of my teeth has shifted back to it's crooked-funnel way. Mind, that was 4 years ago.

I actually had the same problem, way back when I got my braces off. Believe it or not, the retainer holds your teeth tighter together than your braces did. It's essentially the same as the first few days after getting the wire tightened. Your teeth just have to get used to it.
