It seems a lot harder than it did at EpiCon.
Has anyone got past the boss fight? I still haven't. :c

Other than that I LOVE IT.

I use Chrome, and as long as there isn't another flash program open, it's fine for me. ^-^

@ I use firefox and I had another flash game, from a different site, running in another tab. It may be a silly question but do you have flash installed? Did it work correctly during the Epicon? Does Spectrail work correctly for you?

@ I think the waves speed up more than during the Epicon? Could be just an impression though... Getting that yellow spot may get a bit of a feel, I lost the first time I got to the crab cause I couldn't aim right, the second time I got through the second crab and then got tired and suicided.

I'm also going to take advantage of this topic for a little rant and mention that with the rewards being in the range of 1-2k after something like 10 minutes of gameplay I can't see this game coming to my daily activities list anytime soon. Similar thing with Spectrail really. I understand that flash is still inherently hackable, so the rewards need to be limited (they were on Neo when I was there as well) and that pumping tons of free sP into the economy is really the last thing Keith wants to do right now but considering I could do half my daily saggi quests in the same amount of time and probably earn a hundred times that... not going to cut it. I think one way would be to make flash games a source of a different type of coin or token, though considering we already have wizard tokens, recycle points, crystals and cash shop credits all working as alternative currency I can't really see that happening.

The voices in my head tell me things... but damn, they\'re useful things.

I think I know a little hint concerning the crab: When you're shooting one of the claws and it just won't work (it always tries to grab you and doesn't let you shoot), try the other one. You'll be able to shoot that one until it doesn't work there anymore, then you have to change again. And so on.

That's how it worked for me.

for the crab, make sure you're shooting more toward the inner side of the claw. sometimes i would shoot at the middle and it wouldn't work, but a little closer to the inner part and it would. i just stayed on the same claw the entire time for the boss twice and it always worked. also don't really have to move much, just stay clear of the fireballs and it's an easy fight.

I think it's 750, 10000 and 15000 though I could be wrong. For 10k you get another wearable, too.

Yeah, I have Flash. I didn't play it during Epicon. Spectrail works just fine.
I'm using Safari, I've never had issues before.

Actually, I think it's a lot easier. With the power-ups and all. And I've played video games for so long, I had the crab figured out right away, lol. I got all the achievements in one fell swoop.

You can see the prizes in my trades.

Yeah, I agree with @Kyradriel . With the power ups I think it is easier. I also had the crab figured out right away when I saw the yellow dot. I got all of my achievements all at once

I love this game

I wish we got more points though from it.

my tip for high points...... don't kill all of the enemies...... Leave one and doge the bullets, that way you can collect coins and stuff to earn more points

I try for level 1=200 lvl 2=400 lvl3=600 basically double the level I am on.

I just found out you can chain the extra shot power up together with another one to get three shots. Has anyone else been lucky enough to get two of these power ups in a row?

I beat the boss fight yeah. I think my best score was somewhere around 15,000....and it was the first time I played it. :S and I got all the achievements

Gaaaah! I was on 15000 points, but then at the start of the next wave the sea monster and girl appeared, and that cost me 3k, and then the same thing happened at the behinning of the wave after! I couldn't shoot the monster because all the normal enemies were in the way! Now I'm back to 10k points

I've gotten past the first boss fight, really close to the end of second(?) boss fight. It's harder because that was just a beta run during the Epicon. It also has to be more difficult otherwise(in my opinion)what would be the point of the power ups. Good luck with getting the wearable items for the game. Just keep on trying.
