So after 2 big nights of clubbing/going to a festival, all I want to do today is lay in bed watching pokemon.

Does anyone else over the age of 18 or so here still love pokemon or any other silly things that they 'shouldnt' still love in the eyes of todays society? All my friends are always like YOU'RE SOOO IMMATTUUURREEE 4 WATCHING POKEMON OMGGG.
I dont think thats the case at all, I dont think still watching pokemon/playing computer games & the like has anything to do with maturity!

What about you guys? x

I'm 19 and still love Pokemon ahha. I still have a pikachu plushie that I've had since third grade. I still play the games too ^^; I don't think it's immature at all.

@ JEALOUS, its difficult to find pokemon plushies in shops now coz the hype is over. I have a pikachu drink bottle and clock though haha!

I just got a droid for christmas and I had my boyfriend put pokemon yellow on it. And I've been playing it basically nonstop. XD
And I sleep with my pikachu and sailor moon. :c

As my name suggests... I do enjoy Pokemon a lot. It's something I grew up with, even traded the cards from the card game during recess.

Thanks to college though I've managed to be more out going. I don't go clubbing because really... being around a bunch of sweaty people (or the possibility of) is something I want to avoid. My sense of smell is very... strong. We can put it at that.
Ex: I was 20 feet from a rave room at a convention 4 years ago and could smell it through closed doors. I'm sure people could smell it too.. but 20 feet away? I wanted to run D8

As for the maturity issue. Watching Pokemon or Playing Video games of any kind doesn't gauge maturity in my opinion. It is your mental state of how you handle serious situations is what gauges maturity.

p.s I'm 22.

I traded the cards as well. In fact, a couple of months ago, I was at my friends house, and I raided their drawers and found like 23947 old pokemon cards. I stole all the shinies and left. 8D They still dont know. BAHAH

@ Fff. I love Pokemon. I'm waiting impatiently for Black/White to come out. I was playing SoulSilver and freaked when I found a shiny rattata. /nerd.

I'm almost 20 and have several shoeboxes full of Pokemon cards. New and old ones.

I'm not quite into pokemon, but I still adore cartoons more so than real-life movies xD Especially Disney :3 I'm 16 though, so I'm not quite over 18. I also spend most of my life playing on various pet sites...as you can see xD

I had New Years day off from work, and instead of going out to eat hangover breakfast/lunch with my friends I decided to spend the whooooole day laying in bed watching Invader Zim.
Quite honestly, I've been obsessed with that show for the past couple of weeks. I have never heard of it before, but I think it's HILARIOUS.

I love stuffed animals. Like, love them. Sometimes people get all "omg wtf, why are you 18 and still sleep with a teddy and buy them all the time?" CUZ THEY'RE CUTE :C

Haha invader zim is ridiculous, love it. I always buy stuffed animals. They kinda just stare at you with their cuteness until you do. People who dont get sucked in have no hearts >_>

20 years old, still love pokemon, also still into Disney movies, and cartoons in general.

My friends think it's hilarious because I was so excited about Pokemon Black and White new generation. I like called a few of them like "OMG Some of these new pokemon look AWESOME!" and they are like "lol you are such a nerd! But we love you."

None of them will go with me to see Tangled though, grrrrrrrr.

I still play Pokemon, I carry my favorite stuffed toy around the house all the time, and I recently started playing Yu-Gi-Oh, and I have no intentions of ever stopping any of it XD

I spend all my time socializing and partying at college (when i'm not studying or riding)...
And now that I'm on break, all I want to do is just chill and go on Subeta and play Pokemon omg.
I'm loveing 20 and I adore Pokemon. I still feel like a 17 year-old like all the time. love growing up.
But I have been shopping a lot too. I'm not someone who can just stay in the same place all day haha.
but ugh
MY BESTIE IS IN CALIFORNIA RIGHT NOW AND I WANT HER TO GET HOME SO WE CAN GO TO SOME PARTIES.
I'm starting to miss parties. :c

@ - I never was into the whole pokemon thing, I find it silly. But, yes, I hate social interaction, and small group/small talk. I either clam up, flee, or say wildly inappropriate things and have mouth diarrhea. Strangely, I've got no stage fright. I can be in front of people and I don't care who SEES me, I just don't like interacting with them. Easy to hide in a big group, and I like people watching.

I don't go clubbing. Last time I went "clubbing" was .... more than a year ago, and that was the only time from the year previous.

Yes, 19 and a total geek/social retard at most points. Like instead of going out and such I sit at a computer and just remember geeky stuff or just talking with random people on the webs. And yeah I love PokÃ©mon as well. And tv/console/computer gaming.

I turn 18 on Saturday and all I want to do is watch Arthur and eat Captn Crunch like I did when I was 4.

My mom laughs when I watch Arthur on Netflix but I love it. DW reminds me of my 10 year old sister.
