I'm so ready for the masquerade. I haven't cured yet because I still have the fear that more zombie stuff will happen LOL so as soon as the dancing starts I can go back to being human without anxiety XD Although, rocking a mask does help hide the no-nose problem heh

Welcome again to all our new KSrs.

@ I cured and reinfected a bunch of times to get the same infection.

I'm hoping to keep it awhile too.

Am glad to have a little down time to catch up before the masquerade starts. Am looking forward to it though. I can't wait to see what new wearables they have come up with this year and which pets will get to become steamworks too.

I totally forgot about steamworks pets haha I'm just itching to spend my trinket hoard on new wearables I hope they're not in short supply this year.

If dancing starts while I am at work, dance with me and I'll return them when i get back at 11pm. This is me being hopeful it will start today LOL I bet it won't until Monday (or maybe even next weekend :C)

I'm still collecting hearts and kissing so I don't see it starting today. And I'm still finding masks. I figure they need to suspend that for a bit and delete the pandemic forum first so they can put up the masquerade forum.

I know. Me too. Worse now since I need all the food too for my gourmand pet which before that achievement I bought very little of.

Yeah I thought it was funny they said in the news post that things would come down wednesday or thursday. . . yet here we are sunday and everything from the pandemic is still going on LOL

I don't believe you can get reinfected anymore.
I read on the pandemic forum in one of the main threads that it stopped already. About the same time all the plot steps stopped being available. Sorry.

I was suprised to wake up this morning and find the hearts and kissing still working.

@naerest..i wish i could explain it better, but it's actually my first too ...but i found this great post that chennella put on the kissing thread..it was her reply to brinny about it .. if you can't find the post on there let me know and i'll send it to you it's about half way down the page post #783 ... http://subeta.net/forums/view/837721/20#18893459 ... hope this is more help as it lets you see the masks as well

@Naerest You look nice with that bright hair contrasting the gray. The masquerade is dancing on the forum boards like the kissing and you get trinkets for dancing. The trinkets you can use to buy things from the Steamworks Menagerie or Libertine Lounge on Ziara. You can look in there now to see the types of items there will be. It is all that type of theme. You need a mask to dance. Sometimes there is a plot. It is very fun and a good excuse to dress up. I am sure they have even more surprises for us this year.

@gryphongrl..love the ha .. i was wondering, maybe you can help me out .. i have on my list of items (in wardrobe) that i'm wearing : (face)green eyeshadow kit -- (face) blueberry deluxe lipshine .. the other stuff like my hair and the band are under the listing 'head' .. so why if i have only 2 items on my face when i go to put on a mask it tells me = i have to many 'face' items on and that i must remove 1 or more to wear that.. ?

You can only have two items on each layer because you have a basic account. Gold accounts get three items per layer.

Or you can buy a Ooh La Layers

for around 200k right now (or 25 credits in the cash shop I think) to increase your layers

*ok .. i bought the Ooh La Layers to increase my slots, but it's only good for 31 days .. so i'm going to wait on activating it till masquerade starts up .. hope some one can scream at me when it does so i can get ready to dance with you all ♥ ☼

If anyone needs a mask to get started with the masquerade when it starts (especially all our newer members ) just comment me and I will send you one or a couple I know I have a ton of extra masks from fireside a few years ago (last year? I can't remember).

Alternatively, if you don't like free stuff, the zombie masks worked in years prior as well

I AM ALL THE EXCITEDS i CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS EVENT TO START.
