As some of us may or may not know April is (all/overall) cancer awareness month.

To support the cause throughout April you can wear either a

(or even

would work nice) Why those specific ones? Because they are daffodils (or close to) and: Quote:

The yellow daffodil is a symbol of renewal and hope, chosen by the American Cancer Society as an icon for the fight against cancer.

@ (possibly me and others can help too if you wish) will be passing out the Yellow Flower Barretts to those who want AND WILL USE them as well. (I say that in bold as I don't want people coming in wanting one just to sell it/searching for free grabs!)

OR If you'd prefer you can also wear whatever color of the Cancer your supporting. IMG of all? the ribbons and colors:Which you can see here We just figure that a barrette would be nice incase the masquerade is still going on in April gives you more of a limit to wear with your mask.

Other items that will work;

(Any yellow flower really I suppose! even

if you so choose!

@spiderman143swife ok hun i am in yellow and will ping people i handed out 500 yellow items other day for them to wear and as of the pink hugga bears yeah alot of them sold them as they got to 4 mil ,but i did hand out a few yellow ones ok.i will be back later..

I think this is a good cause, I don't think there's anyone out there whose life hasn't been touched by cancer in some way (whether it be family or friends). I'd like to participate as well. I have the narcissus clip so I'll wear that c: You don't need these until next month right?

I've had 2 family members so far, tech. 3 but I never knew the 3rd.
My aunt was diagnosed with Leukemia 3 years ago. She finally is in remission this year I believe since she had to wait 2 years. My boyfriends grandmother who died just this year had Brain, Chest, and Throat cancer. The 3rd would of been my moms brother but he died at the age of 23 before I was even thought of.

Yes April/next month is when it starts

^ Yea, my grandmother was diagnosed with lung, pancreatic and colon cancer all at once. She was fine for three years and then it came back again. She went back, got treatment and now she's a survivor. She's going to be 80-years old soon. Her younger sister (grandaunt) had the same three when she was in her 50's, but she didn't make it.

Anything that gets people to think and have hope, is good. You can ping me if you like, I most likely will remember

I havent got yellow on yet but will do,

I had a nan pass away from lung cancer, they had been treating her for asthma for yrs but she had alot of other problems and when she found out about the cancer she gave up and was gone within the week, she was in her 70's
my other nan survived colon cancer but she is no longer with either, been gone a few yr she was in her 70's too

I will be getting my yellow on in a bit...been busy with the ball. I lost a grandfather to cancer and I had my own cancer scare about five years ago after I'd had my son.

yeah i sent my pink hugga bears out but as for my health and real life issues wasnt able to get my board going but we can go month to month on here and i thank you all for showing your support.

I've got my colors on! A Pink Hugga Bear for Breast cancer, a Blue Flower Barrette for Colon cancer, & a Green Ribbon Streamer for Kidney cancer.

I'll participate. I'll spend April alternating between a blue/yellow color scheme and a pink/yellow one, because I lost my grandfather to colon cancer and his sister to breast cancer within four months of each other. He died in January of 2010 and she actually died in April of the same year.

Lair Bears most of you know this is a cause that is near and dear to my heart. My sister in law loved Daffodil's - they always made her smile even when chemo had wiped out her strength. She lost the fight, but in her memory I fight on. Doing any and everything I can to keep the fight for a cure alive. Ping whoever you may know that is not part of the lair so we get this message out there and show everyone that the Lair is part of the Subeta Daffodil Movement!

I think this is a brilliant thing everyone is doing. I plan to participate in honor of family and friends who have had to deal with cancer.

In the past year we lost a friend of the family to Breast Cancer and my uncle became a Pancreatic Cancer survivor. Definitely an issue near and dear to my heart.

As some of you know this is something that is dear to me as well since we lost Kyles grandma to cancer this year and my aunt having had leukemia. I know some of you know people who have had cancer or maybe even some of you have had it yourself? If you feel like it I would love for you to show your support. April is only 2 days away from starting so I figured today would be easier then me forgetting tom. XD
