I love looking at all of these ex-JYP trainees just totally blowing everybody's minds.
JYP is way too focused on looks.

Yeah, once you listen to Girl's Day stuff, obsession is pretty much the next step.
Their stuff now is mostly sang with their high cutesy voices (which is nice), while some of the older stuff is sang with deeper voices you'd never guess they were even capable of (which is so much better).
I was the same way with Sistar's new song. Lol.
It came out and I was just like...ew. Next.
Then for a couple days, it was all I could listen to.
As for Sistar and 4Minute, it's nice seeing them both dominating the music shows. This is definitely the month for girl groups to shine.

Yep! BAP did make a huge debut, I'm very happy for them. I think NU'EST is still my favorite debut thus far though. xDD

Yeah they only debuted with a mini-album but I really dig their sound and vibe so far. Face was on loop for like 2 wks straight for me. xDD;;

@wish Haha yes. I actually got started off badly on dramas; my first being "90 Days Time To Love" which was horribly depressing and had annoying characters :<
I didn't watch BBF until later, but I'm glad I finally did lol I watched the Japanese version "Hana Yori Dango" as well. Oddly enough in both versions, I preferred the Jihoo/Rui characters xD

Hmmm I don't have a bias in SHINee... Never really did. But yea, me too with the whole vocals thing. My bias in groups is most likely the main/lead vocalist for some reason.
Dare I ask why they were in costumes?

I watched the first ep of BoF, but it never really caught on to me.
Taiwanese dramas wise, I've finished... 1? Skipped through about 3.

I love the girls in Sistar! Hyorin has an AMAZING voice... Seriously.

I liked them a lot when they first debuted, but then all that stuff with the member changes and then the complete concept change... I thought they were a different group when they came back again! xD I think they kind of peaked at Lupin and have been slowly going down hill ever since... S:

I'm mostly a Blackjack. Though SNSD were the 1st group to introduce me to kpop. So far I've only heard Twinkle and Baby Steps from TTS's album and I really like them both. I love the dance and music video for Twinkle

@wish Ah, it was terribly cute. <3 I suggest watching it! And, yes, we need to know why bunnies when they are such a masculine sort of group. o-o; It does not fit whatsoever.

It's okay not to have one, they're all pretty awesome in their own ways. =P Yay! Vocal talent appreciators! I used to sing in a choir that traveled and was in competitions, which is probably why I always gravitate towards those with voices that are amazing, I honestly don't care much about looks (Tho, it's always a bonus) if they can serenade me and have a good voice, I'll like them.
Hm, I'm trying to remember why exactly they dressed up. I do know they were at a play place thing in Hello Baby with Yoogeun. I think it was mostly for comedic effect.

With shows like that, it's usually a hit or miss. I've watched all the versions out that I'm aware of, Taiwanese, Japanese and Korean. The Taiwanese one was too drawn out for me, though the main girl was pretty enough, the Japanese version was a little too short for my taste and I didn't see any actual chemistry between the actors but the Korean one was steadily paced, imo, and it felt more comfortable in areas. Though, so much over the top acting. @@; Really, I wish that when they made manga into shows they would tone it down a bit. No one really behaves that strangely. xx;

CL, she's an amazing rapper, singer and dancer, and she does a really good job as leader IMO . Though I like all of them for different reasons

). I miss how 2NE1 TV showed what 2NE1 are like when they aren't in public. I was sad when season 3 ended

A ballad, some mid-tempo songs, and I think two faster songs.

When watching dramas, you always seem to experience that 'second hand embarrassment' thing.
You're sitting there watching, and then the main character does something really stupid that obviously will go wrong,
and you're just like "no, don't, oh god, stop please."

I've watched Hi, My Sweetheart fully. I skimmed through It Started With a Kiss and Tokyo Juliet. I've started Devil Beside You and Romantic Princess and some other ones I can't remember. But as you can see, these dramas aren't exactly recent... It's been a long time since I've watched a drama.

I'm not even big fan of KHJ, but that man is nearly flawless, omg.
I do hope that SS501 will comeback soon, as a group.

@wish It was a lot of fun, but sometimes it was stressful because it was a bunch of girls in one area, so bickering happened a lot. xD
My dream is to have someone serenade me. I'm so lame.

I have a sort of issue when I know something is going to happen or I feel like something embarrassing is going to happen. I tend to turn the channel or fast forward if I can. xD;;;; I get so embarrassed for the character it's sad. |D;

Oh, yeah, ISTWK 1 and 2 are pretty good. I never saw Tokyo Juliet, Devil Beside You is amazing and a half if you can get over some of the stupid stuff. Romantic Princess I read the synopsis for but never watched. Another one that I really liked was Why, Why Love, basically the same cast as Devil Beside You. Smiling Pasta was funny and cute, good for laughs though sometimes I just wanted to headdesk at what they were doing. I have a list somewhere of all the ones I've watched but it's not on this comp. =P I can never get into the Japanese dramas, unfortunately. I'll watch an ep and just sit there thinking 'do I want to force myself to watch the rest or not?' The older dramas are all so good it's hard to get into some of the newer ones. xD;

@wish Yes, and my gaggle of girls were great at that. @@ We worked well when we sang but when we had to be together for more than our two hours that we were usually together, you found out who you got along with outside of singing fast or you were by yourself. xDDD

ISWAK is my favorite Taiwanese drama ever!!! If you like Taiwanese dramas the new drama Skip Beat is pretty good- it stops short, so I really hope there is a new season, but it's really good other than that! ^^ Plus Siwan and Donghae are super cute~

@ThrillerNight I started watching the first ep but then got distracted by school stuff so I'm probably going to watch it over the summer. Donghae plays the epic jerk, tho. Dx; Siwon is probably going to end up being my favorite in the show simply because of who he plays. xD; But, Fishy is adorable so I have a hard time seeing him as a jerk. |D;

@ Donghae is the jerkiest- he doesn't get much better sadly. ;_; In the manga his character gets some-what better... I don't know why the cut the drama so short! Oh well- Siwan is very loveable in it~ although I'm not usually a big fan of his...

I just love how you get to see the progression of their relationship in ISWAK, and how he's so angry at her all the time but really enjoys her too. xD Their wedding is super hilarious, I agree.

If you watch the Meteor Garden (The Taiwanese version of BoF), you'll find that you actually root for the main guy more than the nice guy.

I found that, as I watched them, I liked the previous one I watched less. Lol.
I wasn't a fan of the Korean one at all, and watching the Japanese one made me dislike it even more.
Then I watched the Taiwanese won and found myself like that one more than the Japanese one.
Makes me wanna find the Chinese one. xD
It's definitely a lot longer (I still haven't watched the 2nd season), but I liked pretty much all of the characters a lot more than any of the others.

Donghae is so funny in real life, though it's sad he doesn't get more screen time when they're all together... Though, I suppose when you have that many members.... P; You should re-read the manga sometime, it's defiantly worth it! (Although I gotta admit it is really long...)
