Yep. Get rid of the spray for now - stick it in your vault or whatever.
Then with just the trap you have a 50-50 chance of having success at getting the item.
But once you do, you also end up bonking the lizard on the head with the trap and knocking him out. You will get the item, a comatose lizard minion, and the achievement.

Psssh I've been waiting for that one and the random one. I just thought it was equally hard as random XD thank gosh it isn't. I'm going to have to cross my fingers and pray my trap will get the little bugger on the first try.

That was during fireside in November. The farmers market opens up and this year they had those dragons that you could click on and feed. If you do that enough one might follow you, so its a seasonal thing.

O__O you can still feed them? How long have you been feeding them? I remember they showed up during fireside and it wasn't TOO hard to make them follow you. Idk if its seasonal or if you can get it any time of year. Hopefully someone will come around and clarify that.

@ i dont feed them regularly, i'd estimate having done around 60 quests?

they're still happy to take food though :c cos the achievements isn't under 'fireside' so i kind of assumed it wasn't seasonal, idk now xD

I think the autumn dragon is coded the same as the regular trapped minions and that one is just a matter of luck. I know some people got them in under 5 tries and some took close to 1000. I think I kept at it for almost a week after they were released. I didn't do too many in the first few days because everything would inflate to ginourmous proportions right away, but after that I was feeding them like a felon! I would guesstimate that it took 200-300 tries for me to finally get one.

On another note, I was reading some past threads, and I think if you are using the trap and you don't get the item, you may still get the lizard and the achievement. Sounds like a few people did.

Random was the worst. I am #11 on the high score list and only got that one myself about a month ago. That means I have played more random than anyone else on the site. Except for 10 people. That's a lot of random to play and not get the achievement. That one was worse than krypts.

@ congrats on getting random!! :O the probability is stacked pretty high against anyone for that one @@

my achievement count wouldnt be so bad if i did quests in all honesty XDDD /srsfail in quest department

thanks for the help! i'll keep trying with the dragons anyway - i know some of the seemingly seasonal ones arent actually seasonal so :O worth the shot xD (eg. the goodie bag opening ones that arent retired

Just found this thread, and i'm very glad it exists!! Will take forever to buy a lizard trap, but I didn't know thats how you got it. And i hate those autumn dragons, they never want to follow me home.

I finally got the Random achievement the other day, thankfully Krypts a few months ago and Polar Ice Fields within my first week of being here. o.o Oh and slots too. I DON'T LIKE LUCK ACHIEVEMENTS. XD;;

Ah I think it helped that I got all the Vesnali achievements the last two years...however...that isn't to say Keith won't add more.

and for some reason that omen raiders or w/e flash game won't load for me? ;(

i'm pretty terrible at flash games too, but only just realised there's a spectrail cumulative so working on that too

and taught me how to play card crusade so i'm trying for that too xDDD

i do have a good legacy count, but that doesn't boost me up on the high score table at all so that's no good

i'm slowly questing and vending

though man i have some ANNOYING ones idk why i bothered like survival flowers/deleting pumpkins (cry

) but they still seem easier than feeding minions/questing/vending

Ah vending. That kills me. I only just passed 10K and to vend 4K tokens (so 2K vends) took me 6 and a half hours the last time. I watched 3 movies in that time. weo'dgfjhsfdigh;dsoigh 50K being the highest tier

Lol ah feeding minions too. I completed that tier...then they added another, much higher tier. I never got the motivation back cause it's so boring.

I still have like 300 pupmkins in my vault I need to delete. I just could bring myself to finish. lol
Vending gets on my nerves, I like questing but it gets boaring, and by the time i buy what the minion wants its already gone.

@fever for me minion feeding is most annoying cos you cant copy/paste the food names and that takes just about forever to suss :c

i tried having a crapload of food in my invent and just feeding, but the range of stuff they ask for is just way too huge xDD

im not much of a movie watcher but might have to if i seriously want to vend lol
its kinda annoying that we cant vend more than one machine at once ~_~;

cos im vending crap to put into my 'gallery' cos im like about 1.5k from the 10k tier i think? xDD i just feel like it'ld be more enjoyable if i could vend 5 machines at once

Yeah

I use this which makes it slightly less horrible, but it's still annoying. And a collosal waste of sP too lol...all I can think about while I'm doing it is that 5K per food minimum x 1000 (example, I have further to go than that) = 5 million sP.

@ trick to deleting is unstacking them in your invent and having a LOT of tabs

middle scroll thingy on mice open a new tab

so click click click click delete next tab delete next tab etc.

i can't remember if there's a pop-up asking to confirm deletion, if there is, just disable javascript for the time-being
(don't do other stuff though, like i think restocking and a couple of site features won't work if javascript is off x))

@ that happens when you have multiple tabs open
cos often when flowers aren't picked up that same flower (or the code for the flower pickup) is repeated within the next, bout 5 refreshes?

so say you're running on 3-4 tabs, you might have the flower up in the 1st and the 3rd tab, so they're technically the same flower

if one isn't yours, check your tabs to make sure you get the other then you didn't actually miss out XD

if that makes any sense at all

It saves switching constantly between two tabs, makes you able to do it a bit quicker too so less chance of missing what food they want.

someone kept feeding faster than me LOL and i ended up with a crapton of food xDDD

I have a code that centers it with a red box, thats not agains the rules is it?

@ nope, i believe the person who wrote the original code filed a ticket and double-checked

it's on some forum somewhere from like two years ago, the one i posted is one i changed, i can't remember the original

but it does the same thing, i think as long as you're manually collecting the flowers, it doesn't matter how you see them
