Adding Wearable Items To Your Wardrobe

Once you have the wearable item in your inventory, click on the item and then click on the `Move to Wardrobe` option.

This option is usually by itself in the Other Options category, however, it may also be listed under other options, i.e., underneath `play with *your pets name*`.

Creating Your Human Avatar Base

Go to your wardrobe (link in the site navigation under Personal). Once there, click on the Avatar Editor link. Here is where you will create your avatar base by selecting the Basic Traits and facial Expressions for your avatar.

After you have created your avatar base, choose one of the following Avatar Editor options...

- Save & Use: Saves the current base in your preview box and allows you to use it.

- Save: Saves the current base in your preview box for later use.

- Load Saved: Shows you all the avatar bases you have previously saved.

- New: Allows you to create a new base from scratch.

Once you have created an avatar base you want to use, you can then proceed to adding clothes and items to your avatar.

Dressing Your Avatar

Click on the 'Clothes' link to access the clothes/items you have in your wardrobe. Items in the wardrobe are categorized by their layer type. To see your items, just click on the layer links.

* To place an item on your avatar, click on the item image. The item will then appear on your avatar in the preview box, and the image will become highlighted. It will also add the item name into the Clothing Layers list.

* To remove an item from your avatar, either click on the item image in your wardrobe or place a check next to it in the Clothing Layers list and click the Remove Checked button.

* To remove ALL items off your avatar at once, click the Remove All button.

Once you have dressed your avatar to your liking, choose one of the following Clothing Editor Options...

- Wear Outfit: Immediately displays your avatar as it is shown in the preview box.

- Save Outfit: Saves an outfit you created to use again later.

- Load Saved Outfit: Shows you all outfits you have previously saved.

Managing Your Clothing Layers

How things appear on your avatar is determined by how your clothing/items are layered. To change how they are layered on your avatar, just click and drag the item name in the Clothing Layers list to where you want it to be.

Also, normal accounts can have up to 2 items per layer on their avatar, and Gold Accounts can have up to 3 items per layer. You can also add up to 3 additional slots to an individual layer of your choosing for 31 days by using an item called Ooh La Layers (Cash Shop item).

Removing Items From Your Wardrobe

Click the item image to add it to the Clothing Layers list. Place a check next to the item(s) and click the 'Checked to Inventory' button.

Showing Off Your Faaabulous HA!

To show it on your profile, go to your profile, click on Edit Your Profile, click on Add Content and add the Human Avatar content box to your profile.

If you want to show it in another section of your profile, or somewhere else on the site, wherever you want your avatar to appear just put [*avatar= yourusernamehere] (remove the asterisk).

Q and A`s

Why when I try to add -insert clothing name here- it just gives me a blank page, or says it's not ready for the wardrobe yet?
There are some articles of clothing that are not yet available for the wardrobe. So just be patient and try it again later.

When will -insert clothing name here- be wearable? I have been waiting FOREVER!
There are a lot of items and only so many artists to get them all made so we just have to be patient.

I want to change just my hair/eyes/smile/etc. How do I do that?
Just go to the Avatar page in your wardrobe, change what you want in the Basic Traits and/or Expressions, and then click Save & Use.

If I delete my avatar when it has clothes on will I lose the clothes?
Nope. They will all remain in your wardrobe.

How many saved outfit slots can we have in the wardrobe?
Each user starts out with 3 "Saved Outfit" slots in their wardrobe. You can increase this up to 10 slots by using an item called Extra Outfits Wardrobe, which can be purchased from the Cash Shop and from other users. The extra slots gained by using this item are permanent.

Is there a list somewhere with all the clothes and wearable items?
Yup there sure is. It`s at Subeta Lodge. They even show examples of what they look like on a human avatar.

Is there somewhere that I can try on wearables and create different outfits for my HA without having to buy the items first?
You can view and try all the available wearables on your HA within your wardrobe by using the "Use Clothes From:" and selecting the "All Clothing on Subeta" option.

How do change the skin color on my avatar?
In your wardrobe area just click on the Tanning Salon link and for for 10,000sP, you can change your avatar's skin to various super cool colors.

Note: Skin colors purchased from the Tanning Salon will only remain on your HA until the next time you recreate your HA, and will need to be repurchased if you want it colored again.

What is a "Redeemable Wig" and how to they work?
When you click on the wig from your inventory you will see two options listed under "Other Options"...

Redeem Wig
Move to Wardrobe

If you opt to move it to your wardrobe it will be just like any other item you can put on your HA, and counts as a head layer.

If you opt to redeem the wig, it will added as a permanent wardrobe hairstyle in the basic traits area of the Avatar Editor, you will be able to change it's color using the normal default hair colors, and does not count as a head layer. The color can also be changed at the Hair Salon, for a fee.

NOTE: Once you have redeemed a wig, it cannot be removed from your wardrobe, and you cannot get the item back.

OK, I have a Mysterious Costume Trunk, now what do I get out of it, exactly?
The Mysterious Costume Trunk is retired and no longer gives out clothing items. If opened now, you will receive 500 Cash Shop Credits.

How do I remove the face paint, from the Islanders/Pirates plot?
Go to GABRIEL, and you will be able to wash the paint off.

My Human Avatar is currently a zombie, how do I revert it back to normal?
Depends on which year Zombie you are...

2009 Zombie Virus Cure = Lamouracillin

2010 Zombie Virus Cure = H-34-RT Inoculation

2011 Zombie Virus Cure = Extract of Loveberry

2012 Zombie Virus Cure = Bottled Antilovirus

Not sure which year virus you have, check here.
NOTE: As of 5/2013, the Bottled Antilovirus was made to cure ALL zombies.

I tried to dress my avatar, but it won't let me even choose clothes to put on it. I click on them, but they do not appear in the preveiw box or highlight. Now I am just left with a naked avatar. What can I do to fix this? Am I doing something wrong?

If you can't get clothes on your avatar, try a different browser. That's what happened to me, so I just got Google Chrome. It all works now ^^

@ You may be trying to wear too many items on a layer, so check to make sure that you don't have more items on a single layer than is allowed.

@FoxChick You could take a screenshot of your HA with the outfit on and post the screenshot.

I keep getting: Oh no! Not sure what happened, but it wasn't good. Your avatar most likely hasn't been saved, so you may want to try saving it again.

And it won't save after numerous attempts. Please can I have some help? I bought lots of clothing and I can't use it

(I use google chrome as my browser btw)

Edit: Okay, I apparently have my clothes on still, but it says I'm naked in my wardrobe.

You can change your base at anytime by going to the tanning salon or simply changing the base in the wardrobe under avatar.

How do I remove the base eyebrows?
I feel silly asking this, but I just cannot seem to figure out how to remove them. :/ I have a few sets of eyes I'd like to use, but the other set of eyebrows is in the way.

@ - Use the "all clothing on Subeta" wardrobe options. Print screen, use an image program to create an image of the screen shot, save and upload the image to whatever image site you use. Then you can use scode in your signature or in a blank box on your profile Code:

I changed my human avatar clothes, did as the first post said:

But still have the old clothes I was wearing before.

I updated my avatars clothing, but when I go to my profile it shows the old outfit still..

I actually figured it out, had to clear my browsers cache completely and then close it completely and reopen it. fixed it

Hey. Alright um so my avatar is like... an alien or something.. I don't remember how it happened, but how can I turn it to normal again? I'm really tired of searching ):

Whenever I click on the "Wardrobe" link in the menu bar at the top of the screen, a tiny Subeta window opens up within my current window showing the login page. How do I get to my actual wardrobe to change my avatar?
