So I've had this character, named Rein, for a very very long time. She's one of my first characters and I've attempted several times to write a history for her. This character is involved in a very lengthy roleplay that I've been in with a few friends for about three years. While the attempts have been generally so-so, I feel it's missing something and I tend to just erase the whole thing and attempt to start over.

This is her character design. Yeah, very animu with the purple hair and all. Which I've considered changing it but it feels a little late, which again I've been thinking of how to implement that into her history. Also the maid dress isn't what she wears all the time. xD;

Certain things I've considered including:
*Human father, Some type of creature for a mother
*Lived with father and a human step-mother for a while
*Born and lived in Greece for a good amount of time
*Possibly some younger half sisters (Haven't thought about her relationship with them)

Personality wise she's very apprehensive and hyper-sensitive. Which again I'm trying to think of ties as to why she'd be like this.

She has the ability to bend shadows to her will, but ironically has a fear of absolute darkness. The ability came to her genetically, but I have yet to find a (mythical) humanoid creature with similar powers to dub her mother as.

Anyway, Any ideas how as to what I should do with her? Things I should fix?
