Allrighty. I've got this character. She's a doll/android thing.

She runs off of clockwork and has no official name. I'd like some help fleshing out a backstory. I've used her a couple times, but nothing really official has been set.

She has no name--usually, when she grows to trust her companion, she asks for them to name her.

She was built by a scientist, and taken care of by him and his son. After a few years living with them, she was powered down. When she woke, she was in an alley, with no clue of where she was.

That's as far as he back story has gotten. Usually, I have her on the verge of shutting down permanently, and having frequently snapping body parts, which she can repair.

I'm not sure what else to do with her. Just as I was getting comfortable with her, my partner and I had her turned into a human by a man who repairs the broken dolls.
