What does your cat knead? How adorable is it?

My cat always kneads this giant white shaggy pillow I bought. Just now she was kneading, and then she went to lunge and attack me but her claw got stuck in the pillow. Haha.

lol my mom and i call it 'mushing'.

my chubby lily mushes EVEEEEEEERYTHING and everyone. she lays on her side and if you're petting her or giving her any loves she mushes the air.

My cat kneads on people's laps.
She kneaded my bfs lap once.
He hates my cat now.

But it's kinda nice. She doesn't do it as much anymore though ..

We're all just souls swimming in a fish bowl.

Hazel would knead the bed by my sides before plopping down next to me.

My cat used to knead my stomach all the time. Even though she was declawed (Note: I don't agree with declawing, she had it done before I adopted her) it still didn't feel very good, but I never had the heart to make her stop because she was never really into giving very much affection. I know she loved me, but she definitely valued her independence and alone time.

i used to babysit my neighbour's children and, after they went to bed, their kitty would hop on my lap and knead my thighs while i watched tv. i miss him so much omg ): <3

haha my kitty does this all the time to everything. I call it making biscuits c:
she does it to my tummy, my pillow, the contents of my sock drawer, my blankets, sometimes my legs, her pillow under my bed, the couch, and once she did it to my face. that hurt. xD her claws are like death needles and I think she's going senile.

I have a big stuffed dog named Spot that my cat used to knead and suck on. I still have it despite my cat being gone now ):
Once in a while I'll put his box by Spot and I can almost see him there again.

I used to have a cat that would make biscuits with an afghan that we had. He would also pull up a tiny bit of the yarn and purr and suck on it while he did it. It was funny how content he looked when he was left to do that.

My old cat used to do that on my lap. It didn't hurt when I was in jeans, but when it was bear legs I would get her off me. xD

Whenever I try to sleep all of a sudden I'll feel these spikes going into my legs thanks to one of my cats. We usually de-claw our cats but we got her as an adult instead of a kitten(we usually get kittens) and she doesn't claw anything so we didn't really feel a need to de-claw her... but yeah that little bit sucks.

I LOVE WHEN CATS MAKE BISCUITS.
My little baby kitten, Cesare, only kneads the fleece blankets on my bed.
The only time I see him knead is at bedtime when I bring him into my room and put him on my bed. I have a couple fleece blankets folded at the foot of the bed and he'll sit on them and make biscuits and purr really loud.

The other cats knead occasionally too. Ginger, our female Siamese kneads when she's in your lap sometimes.

@ - My cats aren't big kneaders, anymore. the kitten rarely does. My sister's cat is a BIG kneader of blankets, and kept getting into my sister's blanket she was knitting to knead it and bite at it before it was done. When it was done, she sent me a pic of him kneading his heart out. her blanket is kitteh approved

My kitty, Simon kneads on my fleece blankets when I use them at night. I put it up over my arm, with a little tucked up under my neck and he puts himself under my neck (somewhat under my armpit) and kneads/suckles on the blanket for a good 20-30 minutes sometimes LOL

Sometimes I cant stand it though because once he's done I end up with a TON of cat slobber all over my blanket xD

My cat Princess has her own pillow on my bed to make biscuits on. All I have to do is tell her to go and make some biscuits and she'll head over to her pillow. While she's doing this I have to kept telling her to make biscuits and that she's a little biscuit making machine otherwise she gets disappointed I'm not paying attention to her.

It's funny though because her brother Rodney hated me talking to her like that and would always lay there with an annoyed look on his face. That is until one day everything clicked in his simple little brain and he started to make biscuits as well. He uses the fuzzy blanket I have for them to lay on.

XD I could try but I'm really not sure how I did it the first time. All I did was notice that she loves her pillow would always head for it when she is in my room. I used to have it on the floor then pick it, and her, up when I was ready to go to bed. The whole on command thing was just me being silly at first. Didn't think she'd actually do it.

This is the same cat who taught herself how to get me to play fetch with her and invented a game where she drops her toy beside the couch then crawls under it to grab the toy, repeat until she gets tired or Rodney steals the toy as she is crawling under the couch.

Interesting. I don't think my cat would do it since she has a lot of places she likes to sit and be comfy, and she kneads multiple things. Sometimes I'll be like "Where is the cat?" and she'll have nestled her way into the pile of blankets on top of the bed. I don't know why it's so cute but it is T_T

Finally fierce. Almost.

I had a cat named Jinx that would come into my room when I was sleeping and knead my hair and head. He would also drool at the same time, so I would wake up with a mass of hair stuck in a blob on the side of my head. It was annoying but super cute, because he would purr like a chainsaw when he was doing it, and it was so sweet you couldn't get mad at him.

Both my cats will knead anything. Pillows, furniture, laps, even my face a couple of times (ouch). The younger one usually does it before he lays down and goes to sleep.

My male cat doesn't usually jump on my lap and he usually doesn't stay there either. /shrug

My cat sleeps with me every night and kneads my arm until she falls asleep. She also kneads the couch if I let her up there to lay by me. When she was a kitten, she used to suck on whatever blanket or pillow she was laying on too.

I think the funniest thing my cat ever did was the night we brought her home, she was laying with my fiance and me and she started to lick/bite his nipple trying to nurse from him! It was so funny XD

My cat gargoyle likes to 'fluff' my husband's belly when we're in bed, trying to go to sleep. He'll also fluff up the backs of the legs when laying face down on the bed. It's amusing for the first ten minutes or so, then he gets thrown out of bed. He's a drooler, so you don't want him kneading/fluffing for long or you'll end up soaked before long.

My cats knead on either my sister's or my boobs. Thankfully they are declawed.

And when they can't knead on our boobs, they knead their fluffy blanket.

My cat kneads a cardboard box. My sis bought a large pack of Ramen noodles and now the cat sleeps in it, kneads it and even hides catnip in there...it'd be adorable if she wasn't such a frightening cat.

my cat Stormy used to sleep with me all the time underneath the covers. and when she would gimme the look that said she wanted to crawl under there, i'd always sleep with my legs propped up so she'd feel more comfty w/o the heavy weight of the blankets.

one of these times, at 4 in the morning, i got woken up to her kneading me. i only wish it were something like my leg/foot/whatever. however, i was none such lucky. take a lovely guess to what she was kneading? yeah...... uhhh Stormy, i love you baby girl, but muh vagina is not your personal kneading place. i'm just happy her claws were trimmed ~.~; certainly was a wake up call. needless to say i spazzed out a bit, fell of my top bunk with her in accidental tow for a 5 foot drop barely missing my desk on the way down. she never did that there again. Now she picks more appropriate places to knead, like my outer thighs or occasionally my boob or my stomach x.x;

My other cat, Patches, loves to knead my legs. he'll curry and purr and do it to beg for food lol.
