So...not many writing contests for me to enter, let's make one! Yay! Give me a story that's something sad, whether my eyes swell up afterwards, halfway through I'm in tears, perhaps it even leaves a pit of despair circling in my stomach. Anything! But as all contests do I have a few guidelines:

~Length? However long you'd like!~
~Topic is sadness~
~Deadline, August 30th~
~Post my signature to prove you read the rules~
~Two entries, and one for the challenge.~
~I think that's it.~

Grand Prize Winner Gets! 1 million sP, or a 1 million wl item.
Second Place Receives 500k sP, or a 500k wl item.
Third Place Wins! 250k sP, or a 250k wl item.

Added! Also, hope you don't mind I took away some of the spaces to save space, but I made sure you could still tell difference and I kept the italics. :3

~Can the sad story be fantasy based? Or do you want it to be only modern?
~Do I have to submit two entries?
~For the dog challenge, can I use my doggies for the characters? And can they talk to each other?
