@turtle_moose well congrats to him, but i just don't really find it that attractive myself. :p andd i've got a few more~ - skinny/slim guys are way more attractive than bulkier/muscular guys. - babies are cute until they open their mouths. - please, do not have more than three children because the overpopulation is already ridiculous. - overweight people are really not that attractive. - as much as i do enjoy the show, mlp:fim is way overrated. - being tan > being pale - religion is loveing stupid - tattoos and piercings are pretty

I dunno how it works out in anyone else's town, but in my college town I tend to get dirty looks from people that know I have a pair of rattie darlings...It's very sad. -Chubby guys are cuter than muscular/skinny guys. (Actually, muscular guys are disgusting.) -Incest is not as bad as America makes it out to be. It still grosses me out (mostly because I have a brother and every time I say 'it's not so bad' SOMEONE has to be the jerk to say something like 'would you do your brother?' which is the most disgusting thought anyone could ever attempt to put into my mind...), but it is not the end of the world. -I think males should maintain their body hair, just like girls have to. I mean, if we get minimal hair on our knees or under our arms we're turning into apewomen, but if the boys have a jungle on their chest it's perfectly fine. I'm not saying they need to shave it all off...just maintain it like they would a beard or the hair on top of their head. Quote: - Condiments are disgusting. (Actually, muscular guys are disgusting.) -- Can't say it any better myself -Incest isn't the end of the world -Guys look better with long hair, as long as they keep it clean -There is more than one correct religion -The customer is just stupid more often than not -School needs to be year round (I HATE summer vacation) -Love is love, gender doesn't matter, and I do have a right to believe this and still be straight -Animals deserve just as much respect as people -Humans should need a permit to reproduce! -It is perfectly acceptable for a guy to wear a skirt/makeup -Every race can be racist, and every race can be discriminated against -People should need to pass a test to own animals -Pet stores that sell animals are the devil (The explanation for this one would take pages, so the summary of it is animal abuse) I think I'm going to stop there for now, that's quite a bit more than I intended to post when I started this >< EDIT: After reading through previous pages I HAVE to add this one -Anyone who thinks domesticated animals shouldn't be allowed in the house is stupid. WE domesticated them, WE took away their wild instincts, so it is OUR responsibility to care for them, and that includes keeping them indoors. Domesticated animals shouldn't be allowed to roam outside under any circumstances. For example, an indoor cat will live an average of 12-20 years, while an outdoor cat only lives for an average of <5. How can someone justify shortening an animal's lifespan by that much? I think, one of the ~unpopular opinions~ that really pisses people off is when you tell them that there is no such things as a right or wrong opinion. Like for example when people say "you're not part of my religion so you're wrong"...they're wrong based on what? There is no universal law that dictates what is wrong or what is right; there is no 'correct' opinion. They're not factual, it's just how you feel; and that's why they're called OPINIONS. A lot of people like to treat their opinion as fact and it'd be nice if people learned the difference.

I understand perfectly what I've said. The test I am thinking of is to ensure that the person knows how to care for a pet/child before having one. If they can't pass it then they obviously don't deserve said pet/child. There is this thing called research, which will inform people far more than they know. A person shouldn't be allowed to walk into a pet shop and just buy an animal. That's how you get people sticking cats/dogs in carriers their entire lives and having rodents live in a cage that barely lets them move with improper or inadequate food/bedding. I've rescued several animals that were only able to move freely for the first time after coming to live with me, and I've seen the psychological damage they received that lasted for the rest of their lives. Tell me again how requiring someone to know how to care for animals is a bad thing? As for children, it's the same concept. A person who can't answer care questions about a child doesn't deserve one. /opinion clarification

 I'm thinking more like the basics, such as you have to change the baby's diaper more than once every two days and how often they need fed. Things that are non-negotiable and required for the child to live and be healthy. Same with pets, things like you can't expect them to walk themselves and if the litter box is full the cat can't clean it on its own (I've seen too many people that expect to buy the pet and never have to take care of it) If they answered the questions then at least they know the information, and people who don't really care are often deterred by paperwork.  @GENGAR i know i wouldn't pass my own fictional test but the earth is extremely overpopulated. we don't have the ability to handle this many people. i don't believe it's a bad thing to think that people should have restrictions on child birth. there is every opportunity for someone to take the test, retake it again, and all without having to wait a few months or something. if you're perfectly capable of passing then the test then why would someone be worried? the only reason you'd fail would be because you are an unfit parent. i guess i don't see what's wrong with that.

My unpopular opinions: -I think that as a whole, people are way too easily offended. I've found that nearly everything is offensive to someone these days. -Which goes hand-in-hand with: I think people need to realize that language grows and adapts along with culture and words can take on new meanings that don't necessarily have to be offensive. -I tend to look down a bit on people who don't dress well. Sorry everyone, jeans and T-shirts bore me. -"Funny" slogan t-shirts need to all be burned (or at least not worn in public). -People can be pretty with or without makeup, and choosing to do either is not grounds for any sort of superiority complex. -I love Lady Gaga and I don't care what anyone says. -Gen 2 = best Pokemon. -I think everyone is lying when they say that looks aren't important to them when it comes to a relationship. That being said, they shouldn't account for everything, either. -Anime and manga as a whole aren't awful. With any sort of media, there is the good, the bad, and the really atrocious. -That being said, weeaboos... I just can't take seriously. -Same goes for any obsessive fan of anything (Hetalia and Homestuck and even some Harry Potter people... I'm looking at you.) - I hate a lot of trends. - Short hair on girls is far cuter than the generic tousled long hair everyone seems to love these days. That's all I can think of for now.  @GENGAR i agree that there's no foolproof way but in a utopian society it'd be nice. you _ you i'd never actually enforce it but i think there should be standards set for raising a child. idk idk i have no idea how it'd actually work because it'll never happen but still. the only other unpopular opinion i really have is that along with the two birth cap (because i guess that's better to say, in a way, because you can't help if you have a set of twins at once and that shouldn't keep you from not having more children or having a child taken away) is that there should be a four child minimum. two foster/adopted children added to the two births. it gives people that want a larger family a chance to have that in a way, while helping our really horribly situated (for the most part) adopted/foster children.

Even if it would incorporate having the government mandate semi-permanent forms of birth control such as shots or IUDs. Because regardless of someone's knowledge on how to raise a child, it's quite hard to appropriately care for a child when you can barely care for yourself on your income. Last Edit by:

Abortion should be free and easy-access even to those without the NHS [INB4 coathangers...] Subeta's better than Neopets, but I doubt that's unpopular here I just had to say it because I'm enamoured with the place. Ron Weasley is more interesting than Harry Potter. People should say that other people should have IQ tests before being allowed to give birth are stupid themselves; those tests measure potential and capacity, and if they knew anything about sociological, biological and economical factors than they'd realise that a parent's IQ or mental capacity doesn't necessarily enhance or impair their child's, sans in the passing down of neurological genetic factors such as epilepsy [grand mal, for instance] et al. ...I tend to run torrents. And now I'm trailing...

Hot dogs are the superior cook-out meat. But boiled hot dogs > grilled hot dogs. Seriously hamburgers are some of the blandest things I've ever tasted. Meatballs and meatloaf are delicious though which makes no sense. Edit: And something totally unrelated, I think people should be defined more by their actions and core personality traits rather than their sexual/gender identity. Because when it comes down to it all people are people regarless of who you want (or don't want) to bone. I think it could save a lot of of fruitless arguments too.Last Edit by:

People who spew hatred left and right and then shout "IT'S FREE SPEECH" are ignorant little loves. I like anime, I just don't like the fangirls. I like god, I just don't like (most of) his fanclub. I think dogs and cats are both amazing. Incest isn't that bad. The current media should be destroyed. I will never, ever, ever understand people that hate doctor who. Chances are I probably won't like them either. People that do drugs, smoke and/or drink can still be intelligent. Also pokemon gen 5 sucks.
