Menagerie has changed the way we accept new members. If you would like to join our cult, post on this board with a few words about why you're interested in joining, and ping the # MenagStaff group. The staff will look at your pets and make a decision about your candidacy, and get back to you with our decision.

Menagerie is the cult for people whose goal is to create the perfect Subeta pet.

If:
you tirelessly edit and re-edit your stories
you spend ungodly amounts of SP on single TC items
you can't decide which of your 20+ pets to work on
you have countless documents with lists of notes, colors, items, minions and ideas for each pet
you create imaginary TCs for pets you don't even own

Then:
you might have a problem. The people of Menagerie can help*.

*you keep it going! There is no such thing as being too into pets!!

We are an incredibly friendly and open community and we're always looking for new members! We're NOT an exclusive friends-only club, we're fun, I swear. The only way we can grow and evolve is when hard-working pet people like YOU! show interest in joining.

Along with an offsite forum and an active IRC, in the future we will offer our own Pet Spotlight in which the members can vote, fun games, and events! Currently, we have a pet showcase, where members can show off completed pets, or those still in need of a bit of work. There is a feedback board, and a writing assistance board, among others.

Hello fellow pet lovers! Welcome!

Here at Menagerie, we focus on pets. We discuss and chit-chat all about our loveable pets. Here are just a few things we will offer:
- Providing fellow members aid in developing their pets in all aspects and preparing them for the PS.
- Giving positive feedback and helpful advice with stories.
- Offering helpful tips and motivation for aspiring trainers and battlers.
- Discussion and Chit-Chat boards for both pet-related topics as well as off-topic matters.
- Pet-related roleplay boards.
- Small giveaways, including MKBs, Elixirs, and various other items.
- In-cult art and graphics market.
- Mini-contests.
- A weekly in-cult pet spotlight that YOU will get to vote on.

At Menagerie we not only offer you offsite forums to post on, but also an IRC if you need help with anything or just want to talk to a fellow cult member. We use a website (and network), called Mibbit, which can be found here! Under 'Nick' you can put in your Subeta username, but you can use any other name too, as long as everyone knows who you are! Under 'Channel' you put # ~~subpet~~ MENAGERIE, but without the space.

The IRC can be used by people who are not a member of this cult yet as well. If you didn't get accepted, we are willing to help you or answer your questions, if you have any. You can mail either Pinto, Lantern or me if you have any questions as well or just post them on this board! Even if you just want to talk about pets with someone, you're welcome to join the IRC.

If you want our members to take a look at your pets, before you apply, please post here! c:

What a great cult. I am so tempted to join, though I love my DI cult. Didn't Keith say at one time that we were supposed to be able to join up to five in the future? If so, at that time, I will definitely apply.

Hmmm, this sounds interesting. n__n; I have a history of feeling uncomfortable in the cults I've been in, but perhaps this will be the right one for me. I'd love to try to apply at the very least, if you'll let me. c:

At least the application form is relatively short! I've applied for cults with ridiculously long apps that took at least an hour to fill out

It's just a small application to see if people who want to join are really interested in their pets! c: Like, if they really put effort in them. It doesn't really matter if you're good at writing about yourself or not! I'm pretty sure you did fine. Good luck!

Yeah, the application wasn't too bad, thankfully. And it didn't ask any terribly difficult questions like what my redeeming qualities are and stuff.

AGH I hate those sort of questions.

And thank you so much! ♥ I've actually been wearing this for a while because I've been too lazy to change.

we didn't really like those types of questions either, we wanted to keep it nice and simple. we're basing acceptance on your pets, after all! not how well you can answer our super tough questions. xD

I will send the application soon, however, the funny thing is the most difficult part for me in the application form is the gif link thing. .__.; (not really fan of gifs because my pc has trouble loading page without freezing for a couple of seconds when I load a board which many people who posted have animated gifs as their signatures)

I really hope they implement the ability to join more than one cult soon cause I've been waiting for something like this for a long time, but I'm also very happy in my current cult. Crossing my fingers for the cult revamp!!

Just wanted to let you all know that Irene is on her way here, and I might be out of internet for even a few days, at worst. Just wanted to let you know, I didn't abandon you all, if that does happen! x'D Rune and Lantern will still be here to keep things in order, and new members will be able to be accepted in the cult/forums.

ALSO! If you've been accepted in the cult, don't forget to sign up for our forums, here!! if you don't, you won't be able to participate in any cult events!
