This is kind of a combination of suggestions so I'm not sure exactly what category these would go in.

I think some spoof MLP: Friendship is Magic items would be awesome. They could be wearables, minions or toys. I know there are My Little Hikei items but I see those as the more traditional MLPs.

Some fun spoof names would be:

Twilight Sparkle = Midnight Dazzle

Pinkie Pie = Peachie Pastry

Rainbow Dash = Spectrum Bolt

Rarity = Unique

Applejack = Cider Jill

Fluttershy = Flitterfly

Spike = Dart

And if you do take this idea please, please, please, PLEASE don't make them CS items!

I've heard of FIM, but I don't understand how it's different than the

items that we already have?

I would love to see some more colorful verisons rather than the standard subeta colors (dawn, dusk, lilac...)

I don't know, I feel like the My Little Hikei kind of already cover this.
Though I wouldn't mind seeing more My Little Hikei colors. Maybe do the colors we're lacking? (twilight, golden, marsh, etc.)

I think My Little Hikeis should get more colors (Spectrum, Glade, Graveyard, etc). It'd be a nice tribute to FiM/MLP to add more colors, I think! Since the items are already an MLP tribute.

However I do support all things FiM and FiM is different from your standard MLP if we're going by the show. So support anyways~ xD

I honestly think we don't need anything else referencing MLP: FiM, as we already have the My Little Hikei toys.

I like this idea.
It seems OP is talking about more like a tribute to the individual characters in the new generation of the series rather than just the series as a whole.

I am with this. I LOVE FiM and I would love to see some character-specific references aside from the general ones, like the Hikeis.

Like I said before, the My Little Hikei toys more like the classical type of MLPs. They're not as stylized and are much more, for lack of a better term, "girly"and childish.

FiM, while originally geared toward a similar demographic, has actually become the favorite of young adult males and a popular internet meme. The art style is completely redone and even though it's still quite kid-friendly it has many jokes and references that mostly adults would understand.

The thing is, the guys here on Subeta are known for their tributes to such things (ie: Legend of Hilda, The Archan, the Goddess and the Bathroom Cabinet, etc.) and I just thought it'd be fun if they did the same for FiM. And they don't have to be toys, like I said. I'm sure the creators could think up something awesome. Who wouldn't want a "Spectrum Bolt" minion for their pet? *raises hand*

I do love FIM but I don't think we need FIM specific items.I think the My Little Hikei ones we have are good enough.

I love FIM but I don't think it's quite... a big enough cultural impact to get a tribute items. Legend of Zelda? Hell yeah, that's one of the games that defined modern games. Pokemon? I don't know many monster based series that has lasted over ten years. I can't imagine what the site would look like if every flash in the pan popular series got a tribute item. FIM is good, and I would love to see tribute items, but I don't think they're needed.

I think it would be cool if there were My Little Hikei figurines made to kinda match the characters from the show, moreso than the ones we have onsite now. I don't think it's necessary though, but it would be fun.

I agree with the general consensus that new items specifically referencing the series are unnecessary. However, we could use some new My little hikeis, so how about the descriptions referencing the series somehow? Subeta's always creative and hilarious with those. Like a spectrum one referencing Rainbow Dash, etc.

As much as I love Friendship is Magic, I really don't see the point in items specifically aimed at it when we do already have the My Little Hikei toys. I'm not against the idea of having said toys in more colors though.

I pretty much agree with everyone else that the classic MLP reference items is plenty for the site. Also, the new ponies don't have nearly as wide an appeal, a lot of people vehemently dislike them. As others have said, I can't really see making an entirely new My Little Pony tribute set that really only caters to a minority of users, such as this does, either, especially with a set already extant.

Pretty sure Keith said "possibly" to FiM items in a KeithLive/KeithAnswers BUT I was only reading the transcript so it may have been sarcastic.

Personally, I'd just like to see a few small things (Applejack's hat would be awesome + we're pretty lacking on simple cowboy hats on site already, so double whammy). Something like a Rarity (or really, most of the others) wig + knowing description could go over really well even with those who don't get the "in".

Said hair (although again, many of them have hair that's fairly unique subeta-wise)

Also, FiM isn't just a meme. Its also a show and a toy line. In fact its MOSTLY a show and a toy line. FiM itself isn't a meme. There are a few memes based on FiM though I think, but its still a show and toy line first and foremost. XP

I know I said I was not for specific FiM items, but while I was questing I happened to see the Tree Plushie item, which reminded me of the "You know she's not a tree?" thing with Fluttershy in the episode 'Over a Barrel,' and then I had ideas. Very silly ideas.

And I remembered this thread, and figured it would be an appropriate place to share these ideas. What I had in mind were just normal horse bodies, no wings or horns, but with names, colors, and descriptions that would give a little nod to the characters in Friendship is Magic.

Potential item names/descriptions:
Gentle Yellow Pony Plushie
"She wishes she was a tree..."

Practical Orange Pony Plushie
"This plushie has a hard days work ahead of her."

Awesome Rainbow Pony Plushie
"This plushie is about 20% cooler than the others."

Well-Read Purple Pony Plushie
"Your pets 'Books Read' list will never begin to compare with this plushies!"

Pristine White Pony Plushie
"This plushie simply can't stand getting dirty."

Spunky Pink Pony Plushie
"A little pink will bring some life to your plushie collection."

Sometimes I feel like I have no control over the the ideas that pop into my head. xD

Meh. I think one line of toys is an adequate reference. If we're going to delve into the intricacies and specific characters of every series that's been remotely popular, we'll sever see another subeta specific item again xD

If it really matters to you, you can always get a minion overlay or CI, same as someone would do with any fandom that doesn't have an item tribute.

Idk how I feel about this tbh |D...

I mean I've been a MLP nut since I was a wee one, and FiM is naturally no exception but I don't really want to see any flat out obvious references. That said, I'd love to see some nods?

Hopefully something like MORE My Little Hikei's being drawn up?

Perhaps Dark Matter could be done in a Luna/Nightmare Moon sort of way? Same for Galatic with Celestia? (I'd say Angelic but it's already been revamped lol).

I also wouldn't be against seeing something like "My Little Legeica" (for unicorn ponies?) but I'd rather not see a full cast spoofs of FiM characters, that's just a can of worms. Too many of them.
