Yes, I am indeed hoping that someone out there in the grand world of Subeta recognizes Rufus Rex song titles and comes to my aid.

Rufus Rex is my fanpet for the music of Rufus Rex the side project of Curtis RX from Creature Feature.

He's based off of their songs, and yes I know the album is still not 'officially' released but I got my pre-order in the mail two days ago and I can't stop listening. You don't really need to be entirely familiar with the songs, as his story isn't exactly similar to them.

Before this goes off on a longer tangent, let's get to the meat of the matter:

Rufus Rex (the pet) is an explorer who is searching for the secret to cheating death - the technique to reanimate the dead. His explorations lead him to forsaken temples, lost cities, and to underwater caves in distant reaches of ocean. Unknowingly, in the course of his travels he unleashes an ancient evil, which follows him as he sojourns onward, growing stronger and beginning to wreak havoc in the places he goes to as it does. His dreams have taken a nightmarish turn, and he sees himself surrounded by legions of demons, tentacled titans, and beasts of legend and myth, who torture and play with him until he wakes again.
(I imagine his world being slightly steampunkish, fashion being around the end of the Victorian era, and as his story progresses things get very morbid and distressing)

(This is heavily based on the lyrics and design of the Rufus Rex album, Dead Beat, so I cannot take full credit for the above, just sayin'.)

I just wanted to ask if anyone can take a quick look to see if the items I have work with the story, and maybe suggest items that I don't have yet?

I'm just throwing ideas into the pot, so please take or leave at leisure.

I don't know who the singer is and without the lyrics, I can't try to match them in any way, but I can toy with reanimation ideas and steampunk. :3

*rocks out to "Move your dead bones" for psome reason*

Yeah, it's hard, I kind of jumped the gun because the first album for Rufus Rex just came out, but... yeah. xD Still, those are awesome items, thanks again!
