I am holding a writing contest for all of my pets. The rules are you can do as many pets as you want. The story must fit the pet's color.

Everyone who enters will get 50,000 sp and the first grand prize winner will get over 1 million in cash and prizes. The contest ends the end of this year.

The limit for the people who can enter are 3 so first come, first serve.
Slots:

Seems pretty interesting, and I think I might have an idea for BloodyXShinigame.
Question though, does the character and story have to fit their name at all?

it's really short, but then again i didn't really think that would be an issue for the idea i had in my head.
i've decided not to do an entry for berrry.

hope it's okay i gave -fluffy- a name since i felt she needed one.

Thank you so much! Hmm... I was thinking Bloody, Caramel, or Berrry, but I'm not entirely sure yet ^^; I'll decide in the next day or two, is that okay? The actual writing of the story shouldn't take too long as soon as I get to it. And how long is "too long" for the story?

@ it does not matter when you decide to do it, and there is no limit to how long the story can be. If you want to do all three pets, there is a bonus.

bloodyxshinigame ---> gamer from hell

It was a frigid November evening, but that didn’t stop couples from evenly commutes in the small town of Langely Hills. Everyone knew everyone, and that meant rumors spread quickly and your reputation was ruined. That’s how it was for Nathanial Emerson. He grew up being the ‘outcast’ of his entire school. That impacted his life dramatically: no one ever left Langely Hills. He wanted to, but he couldn’t. It wasn’t something a person from a town in the sticks did.

He grew up alone, no friends and few family members that understood him. He spent his time with video games. He knew he could trust them, and cheat them with few repercussions. It’s said that this kind of antisocial behavior is the perfect breeding ground for a sociopath… and in this case it certainly was.

Video games seemed real to him. He could get lost in them, chatting endlessly with other gamers. He was known for his gamertag BloodyXShinigame. He was a ferocious gamer, one that didn’t mess around. He knew every shortcut, every cheat, every aspect of a game. He’d beat all of his games at least twice, and still went back for more. His identity soon became merely Shinigame for his quick and effective way of taking control and being the best in a matter of moments.

He felt superhuman. That no one could stop him. He wondered what it was like to kill in real life. The curious thought budding into a dangerous fantasy of revenge. He wanted all those who put him down to suffer. He wanted them all to be miserable. Just as he had been. Five years since graduating from Hell and he still had to deal with the same ass clowns on a fairly regular basis. And every time he was teased and taunted.

The glint of hazel eyes were the only thing visible as he pulled the mask far over his eyes. He’d been tapping into the local surveillance cameras, and had noticed a pattern amoung a particular couple that he knew all to well. Hannah and Brian were well known to this community. Supposedly the first of them to be accepted to Harvard and Yale on scholarships. Little did anyone know that he was the reason that they had accomplished this goal. They’d stolen his work, beaten him for it, and he couldn’t necessarily say no.

But tonight, they’d suffer. They’d die.

As he crept through the cornfields shielding one side of the road that lead out of the town, he saw his targets. They were laughing away, having fun. Not for long. The thought like poison as he gripped the weapon of choice: a scythe. They weren’t uncommon for Langely, so it would be pretty tricky to get the murder back to him. He was that weird guy that lives in his parents basement, like he’d have any reason to worry.

Jumping out of the stalks, the metal seemed to tint red as he quickly ran the blade over the two unsuspecting victims torsos and then their throats. As they fell to the ground, the blood on the blade seemed to steadily drip off as if counting off the last seconds they had to live. He loved the fear in their eyes. The rush of adrenaline he had coursing through his veins.

And this was the start of the infamous Shinigame Killer.

i don't know why, but they turned out sorta morbid with a tad sprinkle of humor if any at all. sorry about that.

@ sorry to say this about your story, but it is kind of gory, and I kind of don't want that. Sorry about criticizing your work, but I kind of want the stories to be upbeat and happy or whatever. I am super sorry if I offended you in any way.
