Anyone plan on doing anything to ring in the new year?

I plan on going down to Taipei 101 area to watch the fireworks and concert they have every year for the western new year.

( staying at a family friends house since the subway doesn't run that late that day because of the holiday.)

I'll be going back to Kaiosheung and Tainan to visit relatives during the Chinese New Year though.

Also, can't believe it's 2012 already. It seemed so far away not too long ago and it's already here.

I kNOW!! I cant believe it. I had a terrible new years last year, but by the end of the year everything turned out beautifully.
Im looking forward to january in the middle of the month, itll be a great time astrology-wise for me.

I live in Vegas so I guess I should have something fun to do with that, but honestly it gets to crazy for me. I work part of the night, but after that I think I'm going to chill at home and make myself a really nice dinner and watch the fireworks on TV.

My fiance and I are hanging out at my friend's place for a party. There's going to be an obscene amount of alcohol which I won't be drinking because my fiance and I already decided that it's my turn to be the designated driver (drink responsibly everyone!), and at midnight, a bunch of us are going for a polar bear swim in their in-ground pool!

It's going to stink being the DD, but I'll make the best of it!

absolutely nothing will be different for me. :] I might write the wrong date on an assignment for school and get deducted points, though.
I'll probably quietly cheer to myself while everybody else is asleep or simply don't care, lol. Actually, I'LL PROBABLY BE ON SUBETA.
But 2012. wow. We have less than a year to live. (jk) But really, around December next year, everybody is gonna be flipping out and buying a lot of crap.

I never do anything for new years in the states. XD

Most of the time I just stay home in my pajamas and watch the fireworks as well.

This is different because it's fairly easy to get to Taipei 101 by subway and well.. I always wanted to at least do something on new years rather than sitting around doing nothing.

Oh, yeah.. oh, well.. December isn't going to hit for a while yet and really, how the heck do you escape the end of the world so worrying about it is a waste anyway. XD

I don't actually believe in any of the December 21st stuff anyway.
