The hair I can do (I'd like to note that the art is old, I intend to redraw it, but since I like the overall concept it shouldn't change too much, anyone signed up for it will be pinged about it of course). The badge I can't do, it's released through  Vega you'll need to talk to them about a re-release I'm afraid.

Before attempting to redraw the entire back end to make it look right in the eyes of the Subetan artists, I'm going to attempt to resubmit with this alongside:  If this fails I will redraw the back legs into a position that should work, if it doesn't =| well I'm going to be pretty annoyed because I can't see how else the legs could go. @Shalashaska "anatomy experts" huh? *ACHOO!* Then explain that disaster with the Darkonite, Tigrean and other species they've had to redraw over the years. e_e (Don't even get me STARTED on these deformed, midget children they call HA's.) Resubmit the Komodo with the ref-image and explanation. If they reject it again, then it's just them taking your "backtalk" personally. Last Edit by:

Yeah, I can't say I don't feel a little slighted =| Because it's obvious I've never put any attempt into studying anatomy to any extent, and I totally didn't reference both Komodo Dragon live and skeleton photos to draw this. Nope. But I'm too tired to hold a grudge today =_= I'm hoping that if it IS denied again, I'll be given some more ideas on what I can do. Worst case scenario... It's denied on different grounds, I fix the new issues and then the anatomy gets picked up on again =|

I have to totally agree with Obsidiana. There just is no where to place the fourth leg without disrupting the whole position. The only other thing I can remotely suggest is to try putting just a small portion of the Dragons heel or leg aside of the HAs left leg. Just enough to give a hint of the hind leg. That may not even work. Only a suggestion..

I did think of that =S but then it's just... a small triangular bit of darkness next to the HA's leg, it's too small to properly show up as a bit of 'leg', I was really hoping to get around it like that. When this got turned down I first thought that maybe the leg should be showing up between the HA's legs, but that is all blocked by the animal's head and leg =X I will say that mbif was very sympathetic later in our convo' I wonder if maybe she couldn't see the problem either

Paypal made the payment and the amount was taken from my bank account, but no CSC on Subeta. D= I wrote up a ticket for it and I have extra CSC, but I want to wait for this to get taken care of before I pay for any purchases. I don't want any mix ups. Can you give me another day to figure out this out with Subeta? If it takes longer than that to get everything credited, I'll give up my slot, because I don't want to hold up other people. Hopefully, it'll get taken care of tonight, though. =/ Like I said, I have the CSC, but I'm nervous about making a payment to anything before this gets solved, y'know? Could you work with me for a day more on this?

 @ShalashaskaPersonally, I was unaware that an expert on the anatomy of all things was on staff. How fortunate for us  Too bad they invest all that knowledge in CWs and not necessarily site art. Snark aside, fingers crossed! Hopefully they will approve, with the position explained.

Yes, between the legs IS the place it should be but since the head and leg are there the "EXPERTS" should realize that the leg shouldn't show at all. Where else are they expecting you to put it and have it look realistic? In my minds eye I envision the leg exactly where it should be. (not visible) It's common sense. Well, I think it's perfect the way it is and I'm sure one of the "Anatomy Experts" will have to see what you're talking about and agree with you.

I have to repeat that the more I learn about the process of accepting CWs the more mystified I get. You and me both... I need the CSC coming back in XD That whispy hair was amazing, but the accepted version... the 'whisps' of hair didn't look whispy any more, more like strands of tar ^^; such a shame. And I can't believe the items turned down for being too cartoony/silly. The quality of the art was fine but it had a silly face... WTF? I can't get over that.

I'm kind of tempted to submit one with a random leg floating in the bg, but I'm scared they'd let it through in retaliation and we'd all be stuck with random lizard legs XD @GhostDragon I certainly hope so =S I don't see how it can be argued, the skeleton of the animal and it's walking pattern kind of demands the leg be where I've hidden it..

XD Yes, that wig was actually what I meant back when I said I have doubts about some items. Yeah, I love the concept of Yang's wings, but the execution kind of makes me wince, it doesn't fit in with Subeta items, they can't do, since everytime I see them they jump out a me, and not because I find them stunningly beautiful, I find them overly simplified for skeletal-based birdwings =S *sigh* idk what's going on anymore, I'm mystified, so much of it comes down to luck of the draw as to what artist/other looks at your work as it goes through.

For example if they are really skeletal then where is the ulna (I shall forever deny googling this, I pull the 'second language' card) and how are the feathers attached anyway. And what are the bones that I'd say belong to index finger doing in that position anyway. But on positioning alone I'd still consider them among the best full-sized wings on here, official or not. =x I have a feeling that some of these may go through purely on further mods' unwillingness to undermine their predecessors decisions. If a CW artist tweaks the image four time in a row for too thin lineart it may end up too thick and still get waved through the fifth time. I know what you mean, sweetie. That would be terrible to be stuck with something you don't like. I agree with NoirRaven, Maybe you should go up higher for approval.. Sometimes you have a better chance especially if you feel you're being treated unfairly. I wish you all the luck in trying to get them to use their own common sense on this one. I'll be hanging in there with you.

I wouldn't even know how to make a formal complaint like that xD Besides I'll accept that I'm no expert, I'll never claim to me as I've never made a formal study of all things anatomical, so it's possible I really am missing something here... still if nothing gets elaborated on, presuming another denial, I might go else where for direction, be that more artists or the powers that be. @Sapphira Yes, their pose IS very good. Getting wings to fit into the HA box is one of the main reasons I've not looked into it, and probably the only thing stopping me from rising to the non-existent challenge and trying to draw my own skeletal bird wings XD I want some gosh darn it. You maybe right, I've seen some CWs with lineart far too thick for the image in question, after being denied for line thinness, maybe they don't have a digital-version of a micrometer so they just have to guess thicknesses XD I hope all our criticizers were good glasses then because they're picking up on some weird and tiny stuff. @Lorax Cheers ^^ I don't intend to drop this 'n' so sooner or later one way or another I will get it accepted. @Snow I think spotted cats are going to end up a specialty at this rate, I'm already working on a snow leopard gryphon XD maybe I should do a cheetah one day... No, you're not. :| Please don't let their insanity cloud your judgement. You're one of the best CW makers I've seen and I wish the artists would take cues from your work. You're really good and they're nuts if they can think you can fit a back leg in there. You really can't.
