This is STALKer territory.

I really like the sub-achievements for the wardrobe (e.g. Subq collections, layer) and stickers (e.g. weather, alphabet). I think they're nice ways to encourage people to expand their collections in a focused way, without being like, "Thanks for reaching 500! Only a bazillion more to go!"

I would like to see something similar for the other collections (food, beanbags, plushies, and books).

NOTE: THESE ARE EXAMPLES! I am using existing items for this suggestion, just to show what sort of things could be done. I am NOT suggesting that these be implemented now, because I know I would have changed my purchasing habits if these had existed previously. And yes, some of these are CS items, simply because it's super easy to reference them versus wading through all several thousand items on SL. Just want to be in before someone complains that these won't work because they didn't buy XYZ when it was released. xDD

PLUSHIES
Like a Magpie: Collect all of the stone-encrusted plushies!

TOO CUTE: Collect all of the chibi plushies!

Keepin' him warm: Collect all of the teddy in a coat plushies!

BEANBAGS
How do you sit in this?!: Collect all of the mini beanbags!

Year of the Beanbag: Collect all of the 2011 beanbags!

Can I eat this?: Collect all of the candybuttons beanbags!

BOOKS
Eye Spy...: Read all of the "Eye" books!

Your biggest fan!: Read all of the signed biographies!

Ho Ho Ho: Read the entire "Ho" series!

FOOD
You lush!: Eat all of the Libertine Lounge drinks!

Successful outing: Eat all of the Morostide 2011 candies!

Homebaked goodness!: Eat all of the homemade foods!

Hopefully, this gives an idea of what sort of sub-achievements I think would be nice. Like I said, I'm absolutely not wanting staff to go back and implement these exact ones now. I'm just hoping that, when new items are released, the particularly cute collections could come with an accompanying sub-achievement for reading/eating/collecting all of them.

I'd like this! I tried to do that a lot in my Plushie collection, so it'd be nice to be rewarded for it. C:
Maybe not so many CS-related ones, though, I think that's a bit unsavory since the site in general tries not to be focused on the paying aspects.

I quite like it.

At least the Chibi's, teddies, and mini-beanbags are all easily obtainable, seeing as they are still currently in the shop. I think in general, its an all around really nice idea.

This is a really lovely idea but perhaps they could have more simple ones, such as 'collect all Field type beanbags/plushies' and because they're always in the shops it would be easily obtainable, but not too easy because there are a lot of them? Also it would inflate the prices slightly and because most of the basic plushies are dirt cheap it could be nice to see them get a bit more worth collecting.

I think this would be super-cute, I know I really like doing the sub-collections of wearables and stickers.

I tend to hoard plushies, just not in my actual plushie collection (kind of similar to beanbags), so I would have to figure that out.

But still, excellent achievement idea!

I REALLY want the food related ones I've wanted them for a long time.

They'd make perfect achievements for some of the smaller holidays that center around food imo, like Alegarden.

I love these ideas! I especially like the food-related achievement suggestions, because like some others have pointed out, it gives more of an incentive to keep collecting special foods. Now that I'm nearing the gourmand achievement, I keep hoping they add more tiers or something because feeding my pet is actually kind of fun ^^. But collecting specific foods sounds even better.

i like the idea, basicaly because it means that you get an achievement for having part of the, let's say plushies.... and it's not hard as the have all the plushies on the site.
but i prefer what @AllieLovesAJ say. let's not based this on cs items or some really specific items, so it's not another impossible achievement

As a huge plushie hoarder I tooooottally support this haha. I would pick up plushie collecting again for some neat little tiered achievements like that! Then it's not just, okay, let's find the next fifty cheapest plushies, it's, ooh, I love this set! I need it and the achievement!

It would be really nice to see sub/meta-achievements for items that come from monthly collections to make it actually seem worth purchasing them (in particular the food, books, and stickers).

i know that with a lot of the "get all of x" sticker achievements, i probably wouldn't have spent the amount that i did had it not been for the extra little incentive of that achievement on top of "have xx number of stickers".

Some people complained about the two new achievements that were added, because they were CS based, so I shifted through SL to find some non-CS collections.

BOOKS
1. Super popular: Read all of the greeting cards.
2. Devoted reader: Read all of the Battler Issues.
3. Good student: Read all of the textbooks.
4. Terrible example for children: Read all of the drinking game rules.
5. Childhood stories: Read all of the fairy tales.
6. Lazy reader: Read all of the book tapes.
7. History buff: Read the entire fun with history collection.
8. DIYer: Read all of the how to books.
9. Musical conundrum: Read all of the music theories.
10. ZOMBIES READ good: Read all of the zombie books.

FOOD
1. So much frosting!: Eat all of the adorable Vesnali cupcakes.
2. BEST DRINK EVER: Drink all of the bubble teas.
3. Freshly baked: Eat all of the artisan breads.
4. *hiccup*: Drink all of the six packs.
5. High-class tastes: Eat all of the food on a stick.
6. What's in this thing?: Eat all of the food packs.
7. Childhood fave: Eat all of the whoopie pies.
8. Don't break your teeth!: Eat all of the candy rocks.
9. Fast breakfast: Eat all of the toaster pastries.

I don't expect these to all get implemented, because holy crap, that's a lot. xDD I just wanted to put forward a lot of ideas, so you could pick and choose which ones you like, if any. c:

I really love this idea.
It can be so overwhelming to save up for the overall major achievements.. but when they can also be divided into smaller ones like this, it would give me more of a reason to do them..

I'll have to split the food ones though.. because my gourmand is allergic to strawberries XD I accidentally fed him one strawberry item though /fail

YES! This idea is amazing. I love the idea of achievements for the certain types of beanbags. This could definitely inflate the price of more common beanbags too if something like "collect all Dawn pet beanbags, etc" was implemented c:

1. Made with love: Eat all of the bento box foods.
2. It's cheaper from the tap: Drink all of the bottled waters.
3. Too fancy for coffee: Drink all of the lattes.*
4. Don't buy the dented ones!: Eat all of the canned foods. (Fun fact: the dents in a can can cause microscopic pockets that let bacteria into your food. Learned that when I worked at Target. )
5. BETTER THAN BUTTER: Eat all of the coated popcorns.
6. How could you?!: Eat all of the smilie foods.
7. Healthy breakfast: Eat all of the donuts.*
8. Proof's in the pudding: Eat all of the puddings.*
9. Just a little nutty: Eat all of the nuts.
10. Vending machine food: Eat all of the sandwiches.* (Not the gourmet ones. Though you can do those too, if you want.)

I like these achievements and the suggestions for more achievements but I would really love it if a couple would be implemented for trading cards...
for example:

"collect all the NPC Trading Cards"
or

"collect all the Spectrail Trading Cards"

Also the Demon plushies might be nice to add to the collection achievments as well.

Ah, I think a few of these have been implemented recently!!
Top idea, I really like it. It gives another dimension to the collections, and their associated achievements. I like the suggestion a lot!
