This was the Battle Coliseum Chat thread during 2012. This was where people came to talk about battling, training, revamps, opponents, battling, weapons, strategies, boosters and so on. We frequently bemoaned the lack of free boosters and sighed over the fact that there is so little going on between events.

2012 turned out to be a good year for battlers. We are no longer the neglected weirdos in the corner. We've gotten more toys, more attention and old bugs have been fixed. There's been nothing but improvement compared to the past. It used to be the case that Subeta would pump out 200 miniskirts and the BC would lie and rot, but now that things are happening here I don't see the same divide with the rest of the community. Yes, we have tons of wears on the site. You can choose not to buy them, though. Just like you can choose not to battle. But we're not the ugly step-child anymore.

Hooray, new thread, I've been waiting and lurking for this.

My 2012 resolution would be to get my pet to 1,500 in stats (it's just now cleared 700 in all but stat and level) Anguineous

And to be more active, and less shy here. I'm way to shy and lurk. Does that count as a valid resolution?
I also want to get my pet into the top 700 ranks, at least... Pet Rank: 1,332 right now. So, basically, double everything. And get my second pet up to 800 average stats.

But mostly less shy.

Happy New Year everyone!!

By the end of the year, I am hoping to have hit 2K evens and to be able to beat more EH challengers 10x. Hopefully it can get done. I wasn't able to make my goal of 1337 evens by the end of the new year, but I do hope to hit that mark by the time my account/pet turns a year old.

Goal for the year is to get to 3000 stats. Currently 1970's. And kill more things.

Other resolution is to also to try to be less of a lurker. Maybe.

Happy New Year Everyone!

I made my goals for the year except one - wanted to make the top 50, but 55's not bad considering all the work going into the pets around My_Sammy.
Starting 2012 with 3500 health and 2500 all other stats, Intelligence: 1,157 (Ap 72)
Goal end of 2012: 5500 heath and 3500+ all other stats, Intelligence: 1,605 (AP 100) at least.
Personal goal: to hang out around here more.

I hope this is a great year, both battle wise and personally for everyone.

And @ I'm still rofl at that pic.

Not sure what my battle goals are for this year. I am kind of afraid to set any. I am the type it would just drive my batty until I hit them.

@ It really did make my night! Too funny.
I've never really made any before for the year, but this afternoon I decided to make them on notepad, so it was handy when it came up on here.

I took several months off from battling early this (for me still lol) year, but half way through set the goals I managed to accomplish by the skin of my teeth. Sammy's health hit 3500 last night.

YAY for a new thread and it be good to see the lurkers chatting more with the rest of us

I haven't really got a goal for this year yet for KingxTerask and IF the revamp does happen this year that might change my goals. Will have to think about the goals I want to set for Kingx

I would like to do the same as Anne @Its_Just_Me and have KingxTerask reach Intelligence: = 1,605 (AP 100)
I'm still training loveez and would like him to max out all the challengers he can reach with his growing stats

It feels so weird posting on Battle Chat without there being hundreds and hundreds of pages.

My goal for 2012 is to be able to beat up the EH challengers. And read to my non-main battle pets - they are getting decent stats but it's like I don't know how to function without scrolls. xD

@ - Well maybe you should get your secondaries some AP! lol. Mine have pretty cruddy scrolls, but at least they have a decent amount of AP (compared to my main anyway) I should make an intel goal for Endalin...

That's the plan! I tend to do it with books rather than boosters.. any boosters are definitely just for my main pet.

@ - Yup, it's all books for my non-mains too. Although I started reading books to my secondary pet before I realized that reading books were useful for battles, so he still gets all the rare books first, and has more AP. Boosters are all for my main though.
