Yeah, it sucked. At least all my commission work was on another file and folder, so everything there is safe (like your stuff for instance)- but I've managed to salvage some work off some saved jpgs and a couple sketches off the very banner on this thread (on the op, see that banner?) I had the PSD file, so I saved a couple of the sketches. That makes me feel better, a little. xD;

OMG...I am so sorry to hear that! After all your hard work

I'm sure you'll be able to do them again and probably even better than before, but it stinks to have lost so much time and work. Again, I am really sorry. Where my commission is concerned, there's no rush on it

Get whatever done that you need to get done, even if that means redrawing other things first so that you don't forget how you wanted them to look, etc...I think the things you drew and lost take precedence

you can go back to the last saved point but theres no guaruntee what will be there and what wont as it has to mostly do with programs working at a certain capicity... cant spell worth crap.

So I was able to salvage a few images off the banner of this very thread (see OP) and re-sketched what I wanted. I also revamped the ribbon hair- as I found it way too bulky- and I just wasn't liking it. 8I
So here's some previews for you all to njoi:

@ LOVE the forest BG! Those actually remind me of the white birch trees that were in our yard when I was a kid.

EDIT: Was either the hair or the ribbon on the ribbon hair a different color before? *is trying to remember what it looked like*
