Your custom clothing Cobblestone Falls was denied for the following reason(s):
• OVERLAY: Please refer to the notes on this item
• OVERLAY: Gradient or soft shaded instead of cel-shaded
• OVERLAY: Blurry artwork
• NOTE: Some of the shading is coming across somewhat soft, particularly the shading on the castles, sky and some of the water.
• NOTE: Blurry artwork refers to some of the details in the background such as the lineart on the castles and bridge, which aren't resizing well.

After a bit of a wait the ever lovely Dannica offered to help touch up my old backdrop idea.
In just a few days she was not only able to spiff up the shading on the backdrop but she also animated the item itself!
Much love and thanks goes out to her.

2/2/2013 Pushing the second slot sets through today! Hopefully everyone still wants their slot. Feel free to ping me with any questions / comments / concerns. Third set will be released after the sunset version is accepted. Fingers crossed.
* 2/12/2013 Still awaiting payments for some people. They will be contacted, and if I don't get a response they will be bumped down to the third release. As the third release is set to be more expensive, I don't know if I'll end up reducing the price or not. We will see.
* 2/21/2013 Some people got bumped up. Hopefully they still want these slots!
* 2/22/2013 Second batch was paid for and has gone though! Thanks for everyone's patience

Decided on 4 releases and NO MORE for each backdrop. 700CSC per slot.
Not accepting slots for the 4th and final installment yet. Will be released at a later date yet to be decided.

Older updates

UPDATE - Original submission was denied. I added more line art to the castle walls. Major changes involve the item itself. I have to remove the sky portion from behind it and sharpen the shading! Will have new images up for review soon. Thanks for your patience!

I saw your CWs board. I know it's not going to help anything or make you less pissed, but I must offer my remorse on behalf of your waterfall being denied! Been eyeing your thread from the shadows and think it is a very beautiful item. You have absolutely every right to be frustrated. I wish there were a way to appeal to them about how many hours you spent making it and how redoing ALL the shading would be an extremely tedious process, subjecting the prior hours of dedication to naught. I know it is their job to seek out the flaws in otherwise professional artwork, but the flaws are so frivolous here. Again, I am SO sorry.

I saw your CW topic and... I'm confused?
I'm aware your art isn't exactly Subeta styled but it's close enough to not be an issue - it's just slightly more realistic (and, in my opinion, a lot better)
Also, that is not pillow shading. Yours isn't cell shading either, no, but it's not primitive like pillow shading is.

I know it's not much of a consolation really but here's a gift to try to make you feel better

Your art really is wonderful; don't let the staff's comment get you down. Even though I know you will have to re-do it no matter what I say, it really is loverly.

Oh those are gorgeous. I don't have the CSC for them, but I wanted to gush over the art, especially the sunset one. Good luck selling them, though I doubt you'll need luck. :p
