Hey there! Looks like it's my turn to be the fresh blood in this place. I've been on Neopets for years, took a break, got back into it and found a hunger that really couldn't be satiated.

As fun as Neopets is, I dare not ever set foot in the forums there. And being an avid roleplayer, that does not bode well.

I decided to hop on board the Subeta bandwagon hoping that the community will be both more creative and more mature-- and as far as I've seen, it's both!

Have my fondest hellos!

Goodness, the boards on Neo are all so dead now. Please don't even compare Neo's community to Subeta's. xD You'll find that they're nothing alike, which I consider to be a good thing, personally.

Hahahaha a very VERY good thing. The neoboards were all that and a cup of tea when I was twelve, yes. I have to say it's what originally got me roleplaying. But I'm never going back there. And the rules are ridiculous, too!

Oh, I know. They used to be really incredible. Neo has completely died, though, and the majority of people on there now are just... ugh. xD; Don't get me started on the rules! There are so many people who are constantly being frozen for the most ridiculous reasons. I think that the site started to really go downhill ever since Viacom bought it.

Unless you have access to the Premium Charter board, then there's not much to really do around the boards on neo. I ventured into the PC the other day, and quickly backed out.

There are things about Neopets that I still like, but so far the communities are night and day. Thank you!

Ohhh I've heard horror stories. Stalking the Neopets Tumblr tag tells me all I need to know about how to get (Or not to get) frozen.
TNT has definitely made it much more polished and professional, that's for sure. But that means nothing if the community is just so nasty XD

I'm afraid the premium perks I have no access to, nor can I afford it with my current employment! I suppose Neopets does have a lot of things you can do without going to the neoboards, but you are fresh out of luck if you are trying to seek neofriends or just wanting a pleasant conversation!
