I'm excited for the new games. I really can't wait to see where they're going with this one. The only problem I have is with some Pokemon fans. They call for a need to revolutionize the series, then get angry when Nintendo releases sequels instead of a mixed game like Grey.

Tha's a good point @. People complain eiher way. I'm glad they're doing something different for once. I never really liked the 3rd version games. They were never different enough to keep me interested (aside from Yellow and Crystal because of Pikachu and the fact I finally got to play as a girl xD). I'm excited to see how these games will be different!

I really hope they add back old features too. VS Seeker FOR SURE. I hate training without that. ;_; And I'd love to see Pokemon following again like in HGSS! An upgrade to the Battle Subway would be good too. I HATE that they advertised triple battles as being the new and exciting feature of the games and then only have a few in the whole story and don't even give us a proper place to hold them!

I would love that, but I'm not sure if that will happen again anytime soon.

Then again, these games are a bit different from what we're used to, so one can always hope.

It...kind of makes me sad. I had high hopes for Black and White and I was so disappointed with the flawed, overly-linear storyline. Maybe it will be an improvement? I can only hope. - ♥

I am pretty excited about that, yay for training more Pokemon ♥

I am 26 now, and I played since Red/Blue every single main Pokemon Game that was avaiable, and I thought I'd get eventually tired of it, but nope.
It's kinda weird, everytime they release a new game I squee and happily train the new Pokemon xD

I really liked the "fresh start" feeling to Black/White; Black/White 2 probably won't offer that, but since I really liked the Plot too, I am curious to see whats going to happen next.

Edit:

And I'd die with happiness if the Pokemon would follow the trainer again. I even posted that I love that particular feature in the Nintendo Star Survey when I registered my Soulsilver xD

I pretty much agree with my fellow Delia here, even though I'm a bit younger xD I'm looking forward to the 2s, despite not liking D/P/P that much. But then B/W came with, imho, really nice pokemon, design and story.
And the pokémon running around behind you were great. The only, a bit, annoying thing was that they did not stop when the trainer was standing. Hyperactive fellows.

(Actually I am quite curious if that new Strategy Game will be released in the US/EU too, since I rather like playing roundbased strategy.)

Man, forget what I said about being a little unsure about this, I am super excited. xD While I still am sort of ??? over getting two sequels rather than a third game, I can't wait, and I'm pretty sure I'll be buying both games as usual haha. B/W weren't my favorite games for post-game stuff, but actually playing through the story was great, and I really enjoyed the characterization given to the Gym Leaders/Elite Four (although, sadly, not many of the characters really grabbed me) and the fact that they actually got involved in the plot a bit!
The third game always has huge improvements over the first two and... well, this is sequelstuff instead of just a simple third game, but I expect that we'll get enough improvements to make it worthwhile! Pokemon very, very rarely lets me down; at most I'll get bored of a particular game, but generally that's not until I've played it for 50hrs+ haha.
I am excited.

(also, it only took a few hours for me to warm up to Kyurem's alternate formes yaaay.)

Oh well, they are a company. On the other hand playing with others was also what they tried to implement in the games.
Oh well, I'll make my sister buy the second game.

I gotta say, I actually never played a game from that series, so I am not 100% sure either, but it looks alot like Final Fantasy Tactics, and I totally adored playing that xD

Not saying this specifically about this community, of course...

But too little is known about this game for me to make a decision one way or the other. If they change at least as much as Crystal, Emerald and Platinum did, I'll probably eventually get it. I'm hoping for more, but I'm not getting too hopeful.

I don't think they'd market it as a sequel if there was hardly anything different, but again, still not too hopeful. This is Pokemon we're talking about.

I hope they surprise and make Keldeo obtainable normally through the game, and not through an event. It would make sense considering Black and White Kyurem's relevance to the upcoming movie.

yeah, dsi have always had region lock, but im pretty sure the phat ds and ds lites dont? if that helps anyone

excited as h for this, i have no idea how a "direct sequel" will play out but im super stoked.
maybe itll be programmed on the hgss game base since that was newer, i want to see my pokemon follow me again + tapping a button to keep running shoes on all the time (that was great)

also people complaining about the "weird fusions" and saying stuff like "i hope they dont start fusing other pokemon"
kyurem and zekrom/reshiram were always fused until they split apart, for some reason?? pokélore. they arent just jamming pokemon together for no reason

I would pretty much implode from happiness if Pokemon followed us around again! I know HG/SS were developed in the middle of B/W and therefore it was too late to include the feature, so I really, REALLY hope they do this time! It's the one thing fans have been screaming for.

I also really hope that we can link B2/W2 to an existing DreamWorld account, the same way we're able to link one Black and one White save file. Because if I had to earn all those DW points over again, I think I'd just...cry.

Regardless, I am SO FREAKING EXCITED for these games I can't even.... I am out of can. Totally out. Word on the street is that the storyline will be very different and there will be new features, so I have high hopes! I might actually break down and finally get a 3DS if it's awesome enough. Currently playing with the DSi I won from Subeta's contest and I'm kind of loathe to upgrade it since none of the 3DS games interest me at all. |D
