Hello lovers and dreamers! Welcome to the Spring sP Sprint! Took a day longer than most years to get here - silly Leap Day - but now here we are! Let's not waste any more time and get right down to business, shall we?

About the Sprint!
An sP Sprint is a 3-month period where we, the Sprinters, make an sP-related goal for ourselves to achieve by the end of the 3 months. This goal is shared with everyone on the front page here, where we'll mark your starting point and what you hope to accomplish. For the next 3 months, Sprinters can post here on these boards with progress updates and general encouragement and chit-chat. When a Sprinter reaches their goal, it gets crossed off the front page list and everyone cheers and he/she gets to feel good about himself.

This Spring Sprint begins on March 1 and lasts until June 1, 2012. You may join or leave whenever you want.

So what are our new goals?
All goals for this Sprint must be sP-related. That means you have to be able to earn it WITH sP.We will allow sP goals, CSC goals, collections, and wardrobe.

If there is something else, please feel free to ask us about it! We want to be accommodating as much as possible, but please do not be offended if we say no - we have reasons. You are still free to pursue that goal and talk about it here on this board; we just won't recognize it as an official goal with a post here.
If you want to talk about specific achievements you've earned, Reya made a Sprinters Achievement Brag Board here.

Remember, Sprint goals are things that you aim to reach over a period of three months. We want you guys to participate, but this isn't meant to be a simple, quick-and-easy to-do list. If your goal is something you can reach quickly and without much effort, it probably doesn't belong here. Goals are things you work for, not things you luck into.

Don't let that discourage you from joining; try to challenge yourself!

The maximum amount of goals one can have is 5 different goals.

To be a part of this (and please come be a part of this! We love having new members!), just ping @Opulent with your UN, your goal, and your starting amount. Check the list of other users' goals to see if you need help.

You CAN change a goal after you make it, so don't worry if you're not sure whether your goal is too easy or too hard! As you go along, you'll get a better feel for how much you can reasonably hope to achieve in the 3-month period and adjust your goal as necessary.

If you change your name, please ping us and let us know!

A note about our ping groups!

spsprint is used to announce new Sprints and for other general info. PLEASE DO NOT PING THIS ONE TO ANNOUNCE PERSONAL GOALS. That is what GoalReach is for. You do not have to join GoalReach if you do not want to be notified when other people reach their goals. You must, however, be a member of GoalReach to ping the group - so if you want to ping the group to congratulate you on a goal well accomplished, you have to join the ping group! You also do not have to join SprintIRC if you do not want to, but also must be a member of it to ping it.
We created these two different groups to cut back on unnecessary pings, so please be wise about this! Do not ping spsprint to other forums unless it is specifically pertinent to the sP Sprint! As stated above, this ping group is for announcing new Sprints and relevant information. It is not your personal tool for bringing more traffic to an unrelated thread.
If you abuse any of the ping groups, you may be removed. Removal from one of the ping groups does not mean that we are removing you from the Sprint, it simply means that you have lost your group ping privileges.
Just a reminder: It is not necessary to ping GoalReach for constant progress updates. The group is "GoalReach," not "GoalProgress." We encourage you to post your updates, but please keep in mind the underlying purpose of our ping groups.
You do not have to ping any group for things like borrowing SBQ sets, getting sticker'd, asking to be lent wardrobe items, etc. There is an Achievement forum for that. However, you are absolutely allowed to post on the board asking for help without pinging the entire group. Some members have made offers to help with these kinds of things, and if you post on the board, someone is bound to see it and direct you to help.

has come up with the fantastic and generous idea of CW-lending for Sprinters, since there are quite a few of us on this board who are very into them, and because maybe by sharing what we have with each other, we might all be less tempted to buy everything in sight ~~and fail at all our goals~~ and have less trouble saving. ;D
So, she created this ping group here - sP Sprint CW Lending.
Everyone in the Sprint is welcome to join, and can ping the group on this board when they are looking to see if anyone has a CW that they would like to borrow for a short while. If there is someone who has that CW, that person may choose to respond and set up terms between the lendee and him/herself regarding collateral, length of time borrowed, etc.
This would be for current Sprint members only (we will check with the front-page posts to see) and you must be accepted into the ping group before using it, but that should not take long. At that time, please feel free to ask away!

If you have any questions, feel free to ping either myself or Opulent.

A huge congratulations to everyone who made it through the Winter Sprint season with even a couple sPs to rub together - between Luminaire and Custom Wearables, I don't know how we managed!

Extra-special congratulations to everyone who completed one or more of their goals! The list of people who completed goals but then upped them has been misplaced, so if you're missing from this list, please just let me know and I will add you so you can bask in the joy that is goal completion!

Yay new board! I'm so proud of actually achieving all the ones I set last sprint, so I am going to take a little bit to really carefully plan the goals I want to set for this sprint.

So excited to see everyone's goals and start the process again! I haven't really done back-to-back sprints yet, so this will be good.

I'm still super-pleased with myself for making my sp and my wardrobe goal last time. I have to make roughly 1mil profit a day to make this sprint, and I think that's reasonable.

That's the most dreadful achievement of them all. (well, that and the richest..). I spent several months not buying anything, just selling all of my wardrobe and galleries. Not worth it

I don't plan on selling anything, other than what I restock.

I may have to ask someone to hold some stuff for me, but some things can't be taken off, like my collections. .... And my goal to work on my collections likely won't help with my account worth. Damn. I'll get the 50% when I get it.

Maybe that will be a year end objective or something...

Yeah, those collections are the hard part about that achievement, since you can't do anything about those. But everything gets a lot better if you have someone to hold some of your items

Owl references make me happy. The title should be Give a Hoot OR @ WILL GET YOU. I love that owl gif, that is exactly how I felt when some of those goals were done! Winnie the Pooh aw da way.

Also because I kinda forgot about the CW lending group for a while, I added a Customs I Have section back into my wishlist so people can actually see what I have available to lend

Do frag crystals/recycle beast count as a collection?
If so:

Recycle - 1500 starting at 371

Yes, she did. I meant to get my refs together last night but then I got distracted by the plot and a few other things.

I also can't really pull the refs together while I'm at work, so I am hoping I can get back to her tonight! I've replied to her a couple times so she knows I'm not ignoring her though.
