Yea, exactly... My first scan, and she knew it was my first scan since she double-checked as we were settling in, and then.. Yea. I'm totally supposed to know how many babies I have growing inside me when I'm there to y'know, make sure that the pregnancy test is accurate....

Yes, both girls.

Fun fact - Catherine is named after my mother's middle name, who is named after her Grandmother. Lee is named after my mom's mother. So we have a nice bit of name jumping/sharing. Catherine is also older, but Lee is far bigger. XD ...and more cunning. The girl's middle names are in Maori, from their dad's side of the family. Unfortunately, I wasn't thinking and should have named one of the twins after someone on my dad's side of the family... and I feel really bad for overlooking that. :/

My family don't really have linked names at all, there aren't too many of us so we'd all end up called the same thing haha. Me and my brother have Stuart as our third name though from my dad's side, and our children have to have that as well since it's descended from Bonnie Prince Charlie ^^; Which is a bit weird for the girls but ah well.

More cunning LOL. I'm sure your dad doesn't mind at all, I imagine he's just happy to see them both

My mom's side does, when I think about it. One my my aunts is named Andrea, after her dad, Andre.

And then the kids names being recycled "honored" as well.. and I'm pretty sure there's more. I know my more distant aunts and uncles have Donald and Donald Jr, and such things.
For you, that's really pretty neat though! Might be a bit odd to have such a masculine name, but because of the meaning of it.. its really interesting.

Yea, he does love when he can visit with them, or even if I skype with them, so I don't think he minds.. or even knows. But I do, and I feel bad about it. :/

i don't want kids at all. I got autism & adhd, both in my genes and half of my family has it. It's almost 100% sure the kid would have it too, and it's never sure how "bad" they'll have it.

I'd find the whole Jr thing so confusing...if my husband ever wanted to name a kid after himself he'd be shot down pretty fast haha. Unless it was a derivative or something...like Will Smith and his daughter Willow (that's a really pretty name).
Awww I feel bad for you now, nuuu ;-;. There's only so many names you can squeeze into their names! I bet he has his own nicknames for them anyway

My family has the joy of depression running in it, but thankfully that's something I'd be good at keeping an eye on what with all the drama I've had ^^;. I'm really nervous about having children though...when I think about all the hassle me and my brother have caused my poor parents at various times. And I'm strange with my parents, I love them and we get on well but I'm still quite distant with them and that must suck as a parent but it's just how I am. I find the idea of my kids growing up so depressing it's unreal.

meh i have depressions too, since a kid already. And they always come back. ALWAYS.
So if that can go on, it would go on to my kids too. + I would be a awful parent because when i'm depressed i go in a shell.

same, i'm rather distant with them too, i got a really good connection with them. But I grew up in what my shrink calls " a cold family". My family is like that on both sides.
My grandfather only shows affection and love to his cat, my grandmother shows none, my dad's mother barrely took care with him so he went to live with his grandmother.

It caused me being "distant" to everyone because thats the way i grew up, keeping certain distance from everyone around me. But my entire family is like this.

My kids would grew up in a cold environment, i wouldn't be able to feed them because i eat nothing and i can't stand tastes and they probably would end up with autism & adhd in certain degree. And each time i would get depressed again i wouldn't be able to take care for them.

Yeah it does always lurk if you've had it for a long time, I wish I'd just gone to the doctor when I was younger instead of ignoring it. But I'd have my husband there to help me and if I had kids there would be no messing about with things, it would be STRAIGHT to the doctor since they would be priority...

I'm very distant from people as well. I think that's one of the reasons I take breakups so hard when I'm with someone for a long time, because I actually speak to them so much more than I do to any of my friends etc. I was with a guy for a year and then when we broke up I didn't even look at guys for about three years ^^;. My real issue is that I just don't let things go, ever. And I know that really upsets my parents because I don't speak to them very much because of things that have happened in the past, that they've moved on from but I haven't (even though I want to).

my parents never took my parents serious so they just let me walk around depressed.

THANK YOU FOR SAYING THAT. i'm like exactly the same. I had only one relationship though, 3 years. And my parents are shocked that after 2 years they still can't mention his name because for them it's over, finito. But i never told them what happend with him, and i will never tell them. But moving on from what happend is hard, and won't happen until i have someone new who proofs me things don't need to go like that. But that doesn't happen because i'm so closed and i scare men away.

Which is sad but very true in my case

. It's not that I want to be back with any of my exes, thing just still BOTHER me so much about the relationships that I don't forget about them.

Same. Stuff went so loveing wrong i can't forget about it. And I can't talk about it with people in real life.
But in my case it was serious stuff. My psy is still worried it will ever get right.

Yep guys, I just set up a 50€ worth adwords campaign to get refferals.

just go to a magazine store, look through some computer/web related magazines and check for a A5 sized white paper in the magazine with lots of people on it in blue, green, red and yellow :p
if yes: check the expire date.

Like that it would cost you around 5 pounds, just the price of the magazine.

My daughter is getting ready to have twins. She is 33 weeks now so very soon we will have two little baby girls. My son also had twin girls. They are four years old now and they are the cutest little things. My son had identical twins but my daughter had a hard time getting pregnant and her's are fraternal. If I disappear for a little while you will know that the babies have arrived. I will be staying with her for a couple of weeks until she gets back on her feet.

I have three children, two boys and a girl with my daughter being the middle one. My youngest son has three little girls and then my daughter is expecting the twins. I love being a grandmother but my daughter lives about 10 hours away by car. That makes me sad because we are very close and I miss her so much every day! My son lives about 20 minutes away so I see his family all the time. My oldest son is single and is getting ready to move in with his sister and her husband...and the new babies...he is going back to school for accounting. I will miss him terribly but I know it's a good thing he's going back to school. He also needs to be around people his own age so maybe he will meet a nice girl. :-) LOL!!!

Aww 10 hours away isn't /too/ bad! At least you can drive down for holidays and things

. My family lives milessss away from each other haha. Some of us in Scotland, some in South Africa and one in Australia

. We have to switch continents to visit each other ^^;.

Oh wow, that would be very bad to have my children on different continents. Yes, I am thankful I can get to her in that time. It's not a bad flight either and there is always a direct flight from here to there, it takes about 1 1/2 hours when I fly. I live outside of Indianapolis, Indiana and she lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
I would love to visit Scotland! My son-in-law did an internship in England and he was able to visit Scotland.

I hit my sp goal, and upped it... and think I might need to up it once again. Wearables I'm about 200 short of my 1k increase, which will put me at 10.5k... and, plushies... I kind of haven't started

I've got 35mil to go. I only made sP goals this time around. I'm unofficially trying to get my wardrobe to 10k by vending and adding things to my wardrobe but I'm running low on wizard tokens and I want to save some for the TS. I guess that means I should do my wizzy quests lol. I haven't done wizzy quests in aggeeessss.

Same; I tend to skip wizard since I really need to focus to get the best times, and I'm normally quite distracted when I quest.

I'm doing a get-motivated race with two other people to get to 1bil sp... though, I've got a large lead on both people. But, the other two can earn fast... so we'll see how that goes.

I'm usually flicking between questing, restocking, forums, other off-site forums, and facebook. Not to mention the kids.

Hard to focus and get them done fast. :/
I actually still look at advertising forums, but I see things, even on sale, and can't justify spending so much on them XD

Better not go in there, then. I've also managed to stay away from the art forum, as well. Most people seem to be selling CW's rather than art.. and I don't know what I want for pet profiles, so I'm safe XD

Not really, though I've started to try and come up with ideas that I want done for overlays or characters. I've got one pet with an actual story, but not much else.

And then I have a solid idea for two other pets - the bee that will be a steamworks pet... likely next year at the earliest

and then my black light chai.

It sounds like you have three pets in the works! That's enough to keep you busy for awhile, especially if you want art. I know it takes me ages to finish a pet. Nailing down a solid idea is the hardest part and it sounds like you've got that covered already. Which pet are you looking forward to working on/ finishing the most?

Either my bee or the black-light chai (Ririru). The bee is still really vague and basic.. a mechanical worker be that maybe gets confused and thinks its a real bee, or something.

Haven't had time to go over everything here, been out all day, but just had to say:

WOW, @Xiocite, that ultrasound lady was totally rude, that was awful!
and @flux, my mom had twins - my brothers are 18 now - she also had a high chance of having multiples, but she says the twins were easier than I was by myself! haha The two of them always kept each other occupied.

Yea, she was... I think that was the only time I saw her, though? And I had a lot of ultrasounds done while I was pregnant, too.

And that is a great thing about twins.. they do keep each other company a lot of the time. Only issue is when one wants to do something that the other doesn't.
