 @Deja Hello there! I hope I'm pinging the right person. Would you mind locking this thread for me? Thanks very much - your work as a minimod is greatly appreciated!   NEWS: Ah! I'm sorry to say this, but for the first couple of weeks of September, I'm not going to be taking any commissions. This is my first year of college, and I'd really like to settle into it without having to worry about other commitments. Please understand that I'll try to return as soon as I can! Hey everyone! Welcome to Meltdown Pet Profiles: The Sequel. I had profile commissions open a while ago, which helped me fund my one and only Subeta obsession (my pets). I had to quit because of schoolwork, but now that I'm dirt poor, have more pets to work upon, and have some extra time, I thought I'd give a profile shop another try! Here is a ping group, in case you want to be updated for open slots: #MDProfiles  Alrighty, so the first thing I should point out is that there are several pet profile types for you to choose from. Here's your menu, arranged from cheapest to most expensive. Examples are arranged from oldest to newest, left to right: Cheese Quesadilla (Simple Pet Profile) Comes with as many columns as needed, simple font and hover effects, and simpler graphics. Typically doesn't take very long to make (not saying that it's rushed, it's just easier). Price Range: 1.5mil-3mil / 100 CSC Examples: X X Beef Taco (Moderate Pet Profile) Comes with as many columns as needed, some special fonts and hover effects. Graphics are also slightly more involved, and more attention is paid to really fine details. Price Range: 4mil-5mil / 200 CSC Examples: X X X X Mondo Burrito (Advanced Pet Profile) Pretty much the whole shebang; comes with the fanciest graphics, fanciest fonts, fanciest hovers, etc. Anything that comes to your mind can be done, assuming that I know how to code it! Price Range: 5.5mil-7.5mil / 300 CSC Examples: X X X X X X X X X The Exploding Burrito (Book-Type Profile) Basically the same as the Mondo Burrito, except for the fact that this profile is coded specifically to look like a book. This is a particularly tricky kind of profile that takes a lot of patience to make perfect. For it to look like an actual book (i.e., without scrollbars on each side of the "page"), your pet's story will have to be written BEFORE so that I may work with your story and manually put it into the profile. This prevents each separate column from containing too much information, and scrolling as a result. If this does not bother you, then you are free to commission this type of profile anyway! Price Range: 12mil / 400 CSC Examples: X  Cool! Thanks for reading all of that. Now that you (maybe?) have an idea of what you want, you can place an order using this form, which you can fill out and post here: Click here for the form!
 Here are the slots! No requesting profiles when these are full, please. I'm not Superwoman and can't do everything at once. :c Only two slots for now; I'll increase these or decrease them depending on how things go! Regular Slot 1: Closed Regular Slot 2: Closed Bribe Slot 13mil / 500 CSC: Closed NOTE: If both the regular slots are full, you may purchase the bribe slot, which automatically grants your commission priority over all the other commissions! Bribe slot also means that you can order any of the four profile types. Finished commissions so far:  Kilala, Evolution (never paid), User not found (1): linens, edge, BleedingOrange, STARK, Naerest, Gryffindor, Delirium, Jessierb09,  Amanda, Gryffindor, Naerest, Astrology, BleedingOrange, Sabrina, Harpie, Jessierb09, Harpie, Jessierb09, Kilala, User not found (1): Modify, ANTI, Lava FAQ #1: I have a profile image that just needs to be coded. Are you willing to code it for me? Absolutely! Coding is actually something I enjoy, despite how intimidating it can get at times. If you need me to code a profile background you or someone else designed, I'd be happy to do so. The price will be whatever profile style you want cut in half (so if you order an advanced profile, your order would be half of about 6mil). FAQ #2: In some of your examples, you personally drew your own characters. Will you do some artwork for my pet, too? No, sorry! While I am extremely flattered that anybody would want my artwork, I'm truly not the best artist to ask. There's only so much I can draw with confidence; I'm just now starting to break out of my comfort zone and draw things I'm unfamiliar with. Trust me, you really don't want to commission me, because the pressure of drawing for somebody will just turn me into an anxious blob. D; FAQ #3: Do you do overlays, then? Yes! But I'm limited in what I can do, since overlays are not my strong point. I can't draw clothing on your pets, for instance, or take a Reborn pet and turn its body white (tried that once, it did NOT turn out pretty!). I'm willing to do simpler overlays, so feel free to ask me about that if you're interested. FAQ #4: What kind of profile styles do you feel the most confident making? When it comes to the overall look of a profile, I think I am most skilled at making darker, grungy kinds of profiles that use a lot of cooler colors. I can use paper textures well enough, too, so if you want a messy collage-ey kind of profile, I can do that, too! As for what I cannot do so well, brighter, cutesy profiles tend to make me nervous.  I just don't feel like I can match warmer, brighter colors as well, and it's hard to find stock images or ideas to make them look as nice as my favorite grunge profiles. I CAN do them, don't worry, but do take note that it's not my strong suit. Disclaimer 1: I reserve the right to refuse any commission. Uhm, it's highly likely that I'm not going to refuse your commission, but I thought I'd stick this out there just in case. IF, in the event that you propose a profile that I simply will not do for whatever reason... well, then, please don't try and push me to do it. :c Disclaimer 2: I am not responsible for your pet profile coding and image(s) as soon as your commission is complete! I obviously cannot store all coding and images on my computer, so I regularly do clean-ups, during which I delete old work. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE for the love of baloney save your profile coding and images to your computer. This is for your own good; we all make mistakes, and I know how awful it is to accidentally delete all your work, only to find out that you can't recover it! Disclaimer 3: I consider a profile finished when I've made certain that you do not want any more changes made to the background and/or coding. After I send the profile coding to you, please do not ask for any more changes to be made, because at this point I will consider it complete - therefore, if you want more changes added, you'll have to pay extra (unless it's a really, really minor tweak). I know this makes me sound like an ass, but after some problems I had with past commissions, I just want to get this out there. I DO, however, clearly check with everyone to make certain that they're happy with what they're going to receive, so don't worry about me trying to get away with considering a profile done before you can ask for changes. I try to be as clear as possible. c:  Well gee, I hope I haven't bored you to pieces with all my various information. If you haven't drowned in it, yet, then you're very free to post here!  @Evolution Hey, thank you for the interest! I don't actually make the artwork, however (though in most of my pet profile examples, I DID do the artwork for my character. That's not the case with actual commissions as my art isn't good enough, typically, and I don't have the time). Sorry about that! :c I try to stick to pet profiles because I know that if I did the artwork, people would generally be really disappointed by my art skills (or, rather, lack of!). xD

@Evolution Oh, yes! I'm sorry, I don't think I quite understood your question at first. Yeah, what I do is I design the profile background in Photoshop, either using artwork or stock images the commissioner wants me to use, or picking out stock images that I think would best suit the character. I design everything when it comes to column placement, how things hover or pop out at you, things like that... unless the customer already has a set idea of what they want me to do. c: Then I code things accordingly.

@Meltdown yesss, that's more of what I was looking for. I'm new to the whole buying profiles deal, so I really wasn't sure.Pet Name: Absinth Profile Type: Mondo Burrito (Advanced Pet Profile) Number of Text Columns: 1 Color Scheme: Steamwork colors; I like the colors of the items in his TC. Browns, grays, stuff like that. Payment Offer: Okay I took away a lot of the form because I'm not sure quite to explain what I want. Again, I'm new to this pet profile stuff, LOL. But anyway, I like the profile you did for .Delilah because I like how it's wide, rather than long. Maybe mine could be the same way? if possible to not have to scroll down at all that'd be cool (I know computers have different resolutions so.. hmm.) I'd like his general info to show, his minion, and his TC. I'd like one text box for my to put his story in, a scrolly one, and his TC to be scroll-y too. Basically I want it to look simple (rather than having 10 different scroll text boxes, if that makes sense), but the background is up to you. I do like your art and if you'd want to draw him on the layout that'd be rad. He's an anthro character. let me know; if Not, just general steamwork-y designs and such. And if you did, I'd be fine with paying way above what you expect. xD Last Edit by:

@Evolution Hey, no worries! You gotta start somewhere, so it's no big deal. I'll help you along the way when you need it. c: Anyway! I think I can already envision what you've got in mind. I can't draw anthro characters at all, so I probably won't draw him, but I can find some nice Steamwork-themed stock images and compile something that looks nice. I don't know what your screen size is, but mine is 1280x800, so for me I can make it 800 pixels tall before it has to scroll. But yeah! This sounds like it'll be a fun project. You don't need to pay more than what I already listed (unless you're adamant on it, but really, that's not necessary xD), so don't worry about that, either. I'll go ahead and add your name to the list - I've got one other commission to do, but yours shouldn't take more than a week to finish! I'll contact you when the background image is complete for a review, and then we'll go from there~

@Meltdown Alright, that's fine by me!  If you want an idea of him as a character, if it might help: He's basically a very wealthy guy. (All of it was inherited, he's a bit of a snob and doesn't work and wins friends over with money) But when he was younger, he got in a train accident and lost one of his legs and arms and half of his face -- but he's rich, so he got it all replaced with steamwork-looking mechanical parts.

@ ELSIE Oh yeah sure! That'd be absolutely fine; I'll let you claim a slot, just drop me a message whenever you're ready to commission me so that I know. c: @Evolution Alrighty! So I played around with the background to your profile (and I had quite a bit of fun; I don't get to work with the steampunk theme too often!). So I made certain to keep it so that the information box wouldn't be so long that you'd have to scroll; you can take a look at what I mean by clicking here. The name's not very transparent, but that's because I'm going to take the pet image, make it transparent, and layer it behind an identical image of the name - and then when you hover over either one, they'll become more transparent. Same thing with the information column - you'll have to hover over it to see it. Does that sound good? @LINENS ...Aww, he's so cute! 8D Sure, I'd love to do a profile for him; I'll go ahead and let you take the second slot. For payment, if you don't want fancy hovers or anything of the sort, but want a nicer-looking background, then the payment would probably be closer to the higher end of the Beef Taco/Moderate Pet Profile cost. I suppose that's up to you in the end, though, how much you want to pay - those are really just suggested prices, not set prices. xD

@CLOUD Not for my profile commissions, no, sorry! :c I guess it kind of looks like it with all the examples I have listed - typically I do the artwork for my own pets since I can't afford anyone else to do it for me, but since I'm not the best artist in the world, I try not to draw for other people. That's nice of you to ask, but I really don't want people to commission me for art, only to end up disappointed in the end. xD So I just stick to making the actual profiles since I know I can do that well enough.

@CLOUD Ah alright! Though I don't require commissioners to have artwork of their pets for me to work with, it's always nice to have some sort of image on their profiles. Good luck with finding a great artist - there are plenty here on Subeta, so it shouldn't be too hard. :3

Well, I'm sorry about the wait; the lag a few days ago made it impossible for me to finish up another commission, and I hate to start new projects before finishing old ones. I'm so glad you like it, it's always a plus to please someone with their commissioned profile. :3 It's a shame today's the last day of my spring break, because I won't be working as quickly anymore! Anyway, thanks for the permission to use Sillypants as an example. I think I might since it's so different from my typical... "feel" of profile. --- @CAMARO Hello! Are you still interested in ordering a profile from me? I thought I'd let you know that, since I've finished both of the commissions in my two regular profile slots, you can now claim a regular slot and be priority (unless somebody claims it first!), in case you don't want to pay for the bribe slot's cost. c:

@Meltdown im wanting something for my pet iceburgh,and i want it to be about the titanic.not the movie the actual event.I havent made it a glacier pet yet cause i cant decide on a concept.i want hover is all i know so far

@Meltdown i want it like yesterday lol.so im ready when you are.i dont know if it would be better in book form or not.i wish the lights on the titanic could flick on,and off if possible if not is ok.If it helps ive narrowed down the pets to a glacier cybill,ghostly,or tutani unless you can think of a better one

@BleedingOrange Hm, I dunno about book form if you want things to flicker. I don't know about animating the background to make the lights flash automatically, but I could make them flicker when you hover over them, possibly? As for the pet, I don't really know; those are all great choices, so I guess I'll let you decide on that. c: If you're ready, then, would you mind filling out one of the forms I have listed in my first post? That makes it easier for me~ 8D

@BleedingOrange Well, there's certain information you can give me, like how much you're willing to pay for your profile, how many columns you want, etc.. If you don't know except for the hover, it'd still be nice if you could fill out the form with the information you have, just so I can keep track of things. c; I guess it's a policy thing too; I'd like it for everyone to fill out a form before I actually work on your profile. So once you do that, I'll get to work on your commission. c:
