Okay, I'm finally at the Pottermore Sorting Ceremony! I'll be happy with either Gryffindor or Ravenclaw, and I've pretty much always considered myself a Gryffindor, but this time I'm kind of pulling for Ravenclaw. I'm totally a mix of Luna and Hermione, so I'm not really sure where it'll place me. Fingers crossed! X3

Haha. Gwen, you just want the dirty details so you can live vicariously through me So, we got there about 3 on Friday and set up the vending area, then we got to start visiting and meeting people. It's California so of course everyone had green on them too, we got to enjoy that indulgence. There were a couple of workshops but we had to do grocery shopping and what not so we missed out on them. Then we went to the Invocation to Pan, thinking it was something fun and exciting but it was Hermetic Magick, so super ceremonial. After that fun started, drinking, revelry, naked hot tubbing. Haha. Next day, lots of fun workshops including The Magick of Roses in Faerie, we raised the green mist. More drinking and debauchery and what not that night as well. Then yesterday was lots of traditional classes for learning on the Gods and Goddesses, then there was The Great Rite, which was beautiful. They played it out with everything then used a cauldron and a sword to represent it. After that, more debauchery hahaha. Then today we had the Maypole Dance, and we did it where they go collect the billy tree and the ladies have to catch it and carry it to the hole it's being erected in. Only the ladies danced it though, while the men made the music. It was beautiful. After that was load out. There's a lot more but I really can't go into full details on here. I can say Ayrion got kilt checked quite a few times, by women and men alike. Hehehe  Live fast or die trying. Xander Syler |
