 hoar is now pax. @Cure Re: previous post, there's that. I wasn't too fond of Supernatural, but for some reason, I liked Demon's Lexicon. I thought I was the only one who couldn't sympathize with her, because my roommate LIKED the main heroine. I never really followed HP closely, but that really blew all intent of mine to actually write fics (I'm not a slash/romance writer in general, so. xD) OH GOD YES, LIGHTNING. The pink hair would make me laugh a bit, but even if her hair is long, GOSH I LOVE IT. But then again, I just love every single thing about Lightning. Thanks, you'll have to do the same with your cold. ;u; Oral salt rehydration does help me quite, and at least I can concentrate when thinking, but I've also been having stomach aches as of late, and I've been really huge on sleeping lately. Dx (I wouldn't be awake right now, but I just woke up 2 hours ago - 11 PM, from a 9 hour "nap".) I find that I can't roleplay canon characters very well, but goodness, I've seen a Riku roleplayer somewhere and aaahhh she portrayed him PERFECTLY *A* Re: recent post, He's not a muscled guy at all, forgot to add that. He's not ~too~ lanky either, so this is actually perfect. <: As for other colour peculiarities, there's nothing really. Another person I am commissioning off-Subeta did make Mike VERY PALE, but that would really be the only thing I'd be finicky about (because he was almost like Edward Cullen in skin tone, sans sparkles. D; ) I am excited to see the final result. ;u; Everything about this is great and even much better than I expected ♥

@Hoar I just found her... kind of annoying and selfish. >.>;;; Even though she's doing it for her brother, I didn't get that feeling and I usually love protector!characters and I certainly liked the main character's protectiveness. Possibly it was on purpose and she gets development later on, though! xD I dabbled in fic, but not really HP, nope. No need. Whatever you want to read/write, it's already written. XDD Lightniiiing~ <3 I am still on a quest for the perfect wig for that, pft. I actually really like the pink hair, but not the usual pink personalities. XD in MMOs I usually make a male pink-haired character, if it's available, just for the kicks. But yes. Mostly I like that she's badass and doesn't pander. <3 And wow I am so jealous that you can sleep that long! Even when I'm sick I can't rest :<. Oh? There were other things which just made her generally unlikeable, but I think the selfish-annoying combo just nailed it. :C I usually love protective characters too, but I do believe that the character development in the later part made up for it. And that's quite true - it's the reason why I'll just keep writing non-fiction papers and slightly academic posts - I think I am improving with my fiction, but my confidence in writing it is still not large enough. xD Someone already released an on-site tribute wig for Lightning (before the wig could have been denied for being blatantly Lightning's hair,  roar was taking slots for a lightning tribute wig, but she probably scrapped it for lack of interest.) And pink hair is my weakness, even if I am not a girly girly girly girl. At least I don't actually dress in a girly manner IRL, but I don't mind wearing a pink wig in person (as long as it's short! xD) In MMOs, I usually have more male characters than female, but all my female characters generally have black hair. xD (Apparently I am TOO fond of having my first male character in ANY game have either white or minty-green hair. xD) Actually, I shouldn't be able to rest that much, but we have an expression here that people "sleep like oil" (akin to English "sleeping like a log" -) I happen to be one of those people. My college schedule does not permit much rest, but with the typhoon and two low-pressure areas we have right now, our classes got suspended after the first 3 hours. :C I was drenched by the rain when I got home, but for some reason, I was just too tired from our experiment earlier. XD I do hope you get the chance to rest, though! >: Sadly, I can't really recall her handle. It was close to three years ago, but I can probably check that account of mine and see if I have saved it. I encountered her in a roleplay channel I modded in deviantART, but I think she had deactivated at the time. THANK YOU oh goodness ;A; I find the entire "sparkle vampire" trope HILARIOUS at best, but I just can't handle seeing TOO much of it. xD

@Hoar Oh yeah, I saw those, but not quite what I had in mind, color-wise. Very picky about the shade of pink and shading. >.< Haha, yeah, that's also my issue with tribute items sometimes-- why make them if they can't even be close to the real thing? >.> Defeats the purpose if they't not recognizable, so I'm a bit hesitant, I admit, but I did start making an Aqua-inspired clothes tribute even with that, pft. XD I usually have light colored hair/blondes because I like how the game lighting changes the colors. Color is arbitrary. >.> And ahh, if its DA, probably not. I was on LJ-- where RP can beseriousbzns. xD;; Used to spend a lot of time making my character journals pretty/making/finding graphics for it-- kinda like what people do with their pets here. I'm not really too much into it anymore, though. But I still play with friends. xD;; Friend of mine made a character that makes fun of that, I think, but noooot a fan of that sparkliness or anything related, pfft. I color pick and it can look pale in flats, but it's pretty different once I put in the shading.  ♥Want to

 hoar is now pax. @Cure I understand how you feel about it, but the thing is, we can't make tribute items TOO similar to the original reference. A lot like what happened with the    and all those Pokemon tribute items. roar's Inu Yasha tribute has been shot down for apparently being blatantly the titular character's hair, even if honestly, that kind of hair is ridiculously common in various Japanese series. D8 Subeta has its 4 changes rule, and while sometimes they can go overboard (they denied a custom wearable I commissioned even with 8 MAJOR changes, because apparently they were not enough. D8)Oh yes, while I don't use blonde wigs all that much for my human avatars here, I love to have at least one character with blonde hair, because some of the more ethereal fields in games makes it look beautiful and rather angelic in appearance. Dark lighting, smoke, and fog effects also have a lovely effect on it. Fft LiveJournal. I was never really very active on that site, even if I've had an account since ages old. I will admit I only did it to make sure I'm following some amazing artists at the time. xD I believe she did have a LiveJournal account, but she did not really roleplay there - it was just a dumping ground for her characters. I used to do the same on deviantART (only because people kept sending me premium membership for whatever reason,) and I'm looking to do the same here, as soon as I decide which of my pets I will be adopting out OR renaming. Most of them also have characters, but they're not really ones which are most precious to me, so it's a tough call. I'm not fond of glitter and sparkles, period. There are very few instances where I actually LOVED the use of sparkle in art/games, and it can be summed up by THIS image below:  I call this the "sparklefart" scene. X"D I am guilty of colour picking too, especially where details like eye colour are meticulously watched. And HOLY CRAP SPEAKING OF SHADING. ;___; This is looking absolutely lovely so far ;n; I love it even more with the shading now, hngh

@Hoar Aw man, there goes my 3DS!Riku wig idea. XD;; KH hair is actually pretty common-looking, when you break it down. O: I suppose they can be a little more lenient with Riku's hair, considering that it's fairly common hair (I have two friends who TRY to have that kind of hairstyle in real life!) Actually, I still have hope that you can! <: Squall has commissioned a LOT of FF tribute items, and some of them don't have changes which are TOO drastic! :"DThe only thing I can see them denying this for would be wanting to split the item in multiple pieces (I honestly don't understand WHY they would do this, when the original references are a one-piece deal, and staff would want to separate said one-piece into a sashed belt, a bustled skirt, and a top item. D8 Then we can argue that they have corset items (one of them was a token shop item) which are very similar to this, and still are a one-piece. Yes. :c I think I stopped checking LJ around... 2009 or so. xD But I heard from my friends of changes which annoyed a couple of them at the time. I used to have character blogs, but they were all in tumblr, as I've joined the site within 4 months after its launch, and found it very easy to use. THEN SUDDENLY TUMBLR WAS VERY SATURATED with people as well. I'm happy with my little niche of the internet. xD X"D It's part of a cutscene from an MMO I play. Probably one of my favourite cut scenes at that, because Sukona-hikona was portrayed with rather hilarious dialogue ("That's no way you speak to a god!", with him standing at a few inches tall, pointing upward to one of the Devil Busters.) That scene was him just jumping to a guy with a broken gun (with his trial of sparkles,) and fixing said rifle. :"D And it's not just okay, it's very okay! xD

@Hoar Haha, I knoooow, but gel can only go so far. XD;; Whatever they use back in Nomura-world, cosplayers must be compensating for with industrial-grade hair cement. I... actually was thinking of making it separate pieces. XD At least two pieces, so a top and a bottom, since I think it'd be more flexible for everyone that way and either would actually work pretty well on their own. :> But I'm also very big on basics and I'm sad that some of my most basic wardrobe wants aren't available on Subeta. >.> E.g. thigh high black socks/stockings (zettai ryouki agogo)-- the roq ones are good, buut its a bit too saggy unless you have clunky boots. If ever, I might add things to the turtleneck to make it a midriff-baring separate piece... But yes. Ahem. Haha, oh tumblr. Was thinking about getting on there... then got lazy. >.>; Ohhh, cool. I remember one of said friends having a "floppy Riku" style after we got drenched in the rain one day. xD And goodness, hair cement - at least it's not rubber glue or something like that! Oh, then I think you shouldn't run into much problems. This looks fairly generic as far as clothing goes (you will recognize it as a tribute, but I think it's not overly distinct clothing for Subeta to deny it. c: ) I think a lot of people would like to wear the top, since it'll be great for layering (I may even get a copy for that, should I have CSC by then! :> ) Gah, YES! I used to make overly simplistic HAs due to the lack of those kinds of items, especially for male HAs. I find it strange how I've been trying to make female HAs recently, since I can't figure out how to use sheers to save my life. :"D Zettai Ryouki agogo ;n; I would do ANYTHING to see Harajuku/Shibuya-inspired wearables on the site. I will have to agree with you on the sagginess of the RoQ stockings as well - I've wanted to use them, but only RoQ's chunky boots seem to make it look good. And oh god *A* I can't wait to see those things on the turtleneck! I will have to say the same for the eventual "spin-off" LiveJournal-like communities - that and I just can't really find someone who can refer me to those places.  @Hoar XD That's good on the CW front then. Now I just have to learn how to shade it properly. I rarely add highlights to clothing, so it's... going to be interesting! XD; Oh gosh, I actually do have some things like that in the works-- well taking cues from TWEWY, I was going to make a cropped hoodie version of the Lapin d' Angelique bunny hoodie that I've RL wanted for ages. XD We do have some gothic lolita clothes on site and in CWs-- think Roar just came out with some beautiful layerable ones. I admit to wanting to make things like thigh high boots or high collared zippery vests, though. >.> There are some punk pants available, too, e.g. the one from the tacky jewelry trunk-- which I still have lying around somewhere... hoar is now pax. The shading I put on clothes is VERY basic, which is why I've given up on releasing clothing CWs myself for the time being. X"D I do have a couple of drafts, which I normally show people I commission for custom wearables. OH GOODNESS YES, TWEWY. I know at least one person who would be ALL OVER WEARABLES FROM THAT GAME. I've enjoyed playing it, though I will admit that I wasn't TOO fond of Neku at the start. And oh god THAT HOODIE I JUST. I am a huge hoodie/jacket/scarf person in person, and the moment I saw that, I wanted to have one in RL, I don't even mind that it's a bunny hoodie because aaah! I would have excluded gothic lolita, seeing how many lolita wearable items there are on the site - more of the casual styles would be AMAZING to see, however. And YES TO THOSE VESTS AND THIGH HIGH BOOTS. I'll probably dig for concrete examples, as I can't really describe them. But. alkdjaskdl This is the first time I've wanted to replay final bosses so much because SO MANY POSSIBLE MOVES AND WAYS TO ATTACK AND JUST SO COOL AND THEN Dreameaters roll around and bounce and tuck theselves into their wings or fall asleep... so cuuuute!! The plot is mega screwy, esp if you didnt play the other games, but there are chronicles so you get a summary of what happened in the other games xD. hoar is now pax. @Cure Ahhh thanks so much again, by the way! ;v; And yes, I would love for you to draw Rose, seeing as she doesn't have a that much in terms of references! I forgot to send her personality and mood to you, but here goes: She harbours hubris when it comes to her abilities, although she really doesn't have much in terms of self-confidence with much anything else. She's headstrong, but she's not as pompous as Chemy is. She's a bit too carefree and lazy, however, and prefers to watch things from a distance, even if she knows she can actually help avert situations. As for mood, she can either be reflective of her personality or in a tranquil mood like in the game screenshot reference. xD And nope, no need to draw her attachment! I only equipped that on her because STATS; it's really not part of her outfit! And ksdfhksdjfhjdkjd Sora hitting on older girls. I'm not sure how the slash fans would be receptive to that! And oh god Quorra - that's just not making things better. :">

 @Hoar Sketches! Dont mind second one's bg, I just put it because thats the kind of mood I sort of wanted, buuuut I'm not gonna draw it in the final. XD;; 1:  2:  And xDD IKR. HE WAS JUST BEING A SAP BUT STILLLL...!! XD And RikuSora fans had a field day, KH3D is basically Riku and Sora's lovestory- I mean. No, really. Riku: *thinks of Sora/mentions his name* Swoons. *Repeats this on every world. Several times* When did Sora get here? Sora needs me! Sora: It's okay, Riku will pick up the slack! Riku saved us! *In deep trouble and just got mindscrewed by Big Bad* Riku....! XD Just. These two. They got it bad. I mean they were pushing it before, but gosh! xDD I can make a drinking game out of how many times they call eachother's name and probably get drunk in the first two worlds. The fact that Sora ends up glomp-tackling Riku three times in the ending doesn't really help. Fft. hoar is now pax. @Cure These sketches. AAAAAAHHHH ;A; T'was really hard to make a decision, but I'll go for the first one, because I love the pose a lot! I really love the mood of the second one though, I agree with you! xD Whelp, it's so hard to choose ;/////; Still, even if he was just being a sap, it's still just too funny, ahaha. xD I'm probably going to die from laughter over the mental image. I suppose I really need to play it when I get to my cousin's house to see the epic glomping scenes. At least their habit of calling each other's names isn't as bad as what happened in Psalms of Planets Eureka 7, or so I think - Renton and Eureka call for each other WAY TOO MUCH. And oh god, that reaction. I just think of Sora being all "abubububu" at the sight of Riku. But yes. I'm not a slash person, but a friend of mine who won't stop talking about KH3D keeps saying Sora and Riku just can't be bffs. Dx

@Hoar Okiedokie, this might take a couple of weeks again since weekend's done, but I'll update you as we go along :>. Is it okay if I play around with the details? I can't see them very well in the pic. xD;; Haha, I'm definitely a slash fan in that I have slash ships. XD They just tend to be more interesting relationships for me and geeenerally I regret nothing! XD That being said, Riku and Sora still crack me up so much. XDDD And Sora is definitely abubu and some. Sora's still pretty straight actually, just fanboying over Riku to the Nth Power because he's mentally about ten, as someone pointed out and the game verifies. xD Explaiiins why he doesn't really do much with Kairi, too. It's RIKU who I can no longer see as straight, sob. POOR GAY BB. CAN'T TALK TO GIRLS TO SAVE HIS LIFE. xD Never get into a relationship, Riku, it'd mess your moe up too much, clearly. Course this Riku being more moe than scary I can sorta see the appeal. Also. Josh tells Riku he has an errand. Riku: *turns around and walks away* Sorry. I don't make deals with suspicious people. XDD lLU. RIKU. He gets compared to Neku a lot actually. XD Riku, I mean. @Koda_Riu Oh, then you definitely should! It plays DS games too so you can get caught up on everything! Like hmm. Ace Attorney is popular, as is Layton, uh definitely The World Ends With You!! And a lot more Pokemon's there too, of course. xD Lots of DS installments on that one....annnd lots more! @Koda_Riu Glad you like it! Haha, well for RPGs, there's also a fair amount of games like remakes/ports from earlier FF games and Zelda games with Toon Link. :>Glad you like it! Just wanted to note that some of the prices for SP may be going up-- I don't know for sure yet, but it feels like everything's getting so much more expensive with the CW items and CSC inflating. The SP/CSC price disparity is growing, so I might have to correct it. >< I'll see, though! ♥Want to

hoar is now pax. @Cure RE: first reply I haven't gotten back to, It's alright - I've been a bit of a butt with my forum events, especially with midterm examinations coming in two days and all! ;__; And it's perfectly alright, it's both my fault for not getting back to you quickly (and I needed a little more time to fix bank issues, since I had one which was not resolved for more than a week, until tuesday after that very weekend! D= I don't mind people who love slash, but I was just being careful, in case you weren't a shipper. |D; AND YES about Sora fangirling (fanboying?) so much over Riku sometimes. I've had friends who have always insisted that Riku is nothing shy of gay, but I really don't just like saying someone is gay without actually getting confirmation/undeniable proof that they are! DEER GODS, ahahaha, no wonder a lot of people love to turn Riku into a tsundere! He really fits it, but wow, ;; moe poses. But yes as well, with Beat being the ACTUAL tsun in the game! I never really interpreted it as him liking Riku in THAT way, but I think it's possible, on hindsight! They do have similar backstories, so when I first played TWEWY, Neku felt so familiar. I didn't like him at first, but he also felt like a character I liked! Re: the lineart, ksdhfsjdhsj. I really love how it's going, and I love how you interpreted the details, because the hair is actually accurate! I should have taken a screenshot of her with just a bodysuit, and her hair from the back. Ah well XD I did not see the thing on her hand to be a butterfly, but it's appropriate, with her name and all. (She is wind mage, if that helps, but I prefer this butterfly, rather than wisps of air!)

@Hoar Ahh, good luck with midterms! @@ at your bank, though, they seem to get problems a lot. xD;;Hmm, I don't ship all slash ships definitely-- in fact I outright hate some. >.> Including some popular slash ships in KH. Can't stand 'em, pfft. But KH3D is all about Riku and Sora and their bond, so... it's really hard not to think they're cute. >.<;; I'm not really rabid about my ships, though, generally. xD I just don't like certain KH ships because of various reasons, not least of which is what they do to the characters... Even Riku. :< As an RPer, fanfic/doujin!Riku makes me sad. Haha, well I think insecure!Riku is pretty tsundere, yep, but he's mostly a pretty cool/snarky, generally nice guy nowadays. xD Just: Sees Girls. What do. *flail* ;A; xDD No no, I didn't mean he liked Riku romantically! Just... he really likes Riku more than we generally see him liking Neku in a buddy sort of way. xD He does spazz a lot around him, though, which was pretty cute. xD I'd probably make a twoshot of those two some time.
