It's time for this year's Shindig! So grab your partner and go for a spin on the dance floor. Don't forget to post your entries on the cult forums, in the appropriate thread for the theme. Make sure you pay attention to any additional pieces of the themes.

Here are the pairings:
Kiarae - Perry - Luscious
Class - jila
Shannon - haute
landriona - Belladonna
Dublin - Ampersand
MidnightShadow - Mish

Due Date: Wednesday, April 25th
Let's start this off with a double whammy! Solidify your brand new, budding friendship by following the example set by Gemini. Dress your avatars up as twins!

Due Date: Friday, April 27th
Everyone has a favorite wearable that they love to use over and over. Share with your partner what your favorite is, and then create an avatar around theirs. **When you submit your entry, you must tell why this is your partner's favorite.

Due Date: Sunday, April 29th
For this challenge, the CHIC Commandments are more "guidelines" than actual rules. Can you throw one away and still look great? Create an avatar that is missing either color matching or color balance, but is ready and raring for a hot night in the clubs.

Due Date: Tuesday, May 1st
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. So flatter your partner by creating a new avatar in their style! Keep in mind, this is an avatar of your own creation, not just a recreation of one of their past avatars.

Due Date: Thursday, May 3rd
Music can easily be a common denominator in a friendship. However, we all have different tastes. Prove that having a difference of opinion won't tear you apart. Create an avatar based around your partner's favorite music genre. Make sure you each pick different genres, though! **When you submit your entry, tell us the genre your partner loves.

Due Date: Saturday, May 5th
We've all had brilliant ideas for half of an avatar. Either the top half is amazing and you feel like you've rushed the bottom... or vice versa. Never fear! This time, you and your partner only have to create half of an avatar. Working together (one takes the top and the other takes the bottom), create a single avatar that is still cohesive and fabulous.

Due Date: Monday, May 7th
Time to bond. Outside of Subeta, what other common interest do you and your partner share? Have yourselves a little chat and then each of you create an avatar around your common bond. **Make sure you tell us what you two have in common.

THE PRIZES!!!

The two most important themes will have a GRAND PRIZE of:
A CHIC Exclusive Custom Wearable!!!

That is EXACTLY what's been going on over here, too.

I keep trying to work on the "complimentary color" ideal, but this is extremely difficult.

I'm just going to clarify that the whole entire avatar doesn't have to not match. Bree's is a good example of what we had in mind. She matches the black but doesn't match ALL the other colors on the avatar. That is acceptable.

If you are unsure you're always welcome to ask if your avatar follows the theme.

My plan is to make a mini playlist (JUST 4 you, BREE~*~) of whatever I'm currently listening to the most in lieu of just checking what unhelpful category iTunes tells me most of my music falls into. But yeah, I think that is the hardest part of the next theme, not the actual HA-making part! XD
