So I was having lunch at a sports bar with my parents today and the tvs were on. I happened to glance up and there was some sports reporters talking about something. One of them was named Candy Cox. I read it. Stopped. Started grinning like an idiot. And bust out laughing. I am so immature, I swear. XD But seriously, if that were my name? I'd change it.

Any unfortunate names you've heard? Or just plain really different ones?

I just find that naming your child a name that is for the opposite gender they are as unfortunate. Like boys who are named Kelly or Ashley..it just doesn't work in my opinion.

She's the daughter of an interracial couple

{nothing wrong with the couple. But... that name. That name.}
Old friend's girlfriend {prolly ex at this point} Heaven Lee

Not to mention my name; Christina. And my friend's name. Lee Anna.
We both have issues with people not finishing our names. I usually ignore it because yes, Christine is easier to say on an EMS call when time is short, but in casual conversation I correct people.

There's actually a vlogbrother's video on names, both unfortunate and hilarious.

@
Ashley is a unisex name. So is Kelly.
One of my friends is Ashley. Daughter of Ashlee.
I think she has a cousin named Ashlee as well. {So yes, family gatherings get confusing.}

So is Quinn for that matter, which is what I call my guy-half.

Ohmygod, that reminds me. My dad used to work with a guy whose name was Harry Stump. XD

And then there's my cousin's daughter...Angel Rose. That just sounds like a stripper name to me, lol.

the number of terrible names i hear every day. i go to a school nick named "ghetto high" so every name has a dash, an apostrophe, a "qua" at the end. just terrible, terrible things.

there was a girl in my psych classed name... well it was pronounced unique-wa. idk how to spell it but sweet lord.

I wonder what he'll think of it when he's older and in school. I think it could either be really cool or not so much.

That reminds me of my own cousin's kid though...Jedi. They pronounce it Jeddy/Jetti but you know darn well he's going to be called FORCE BOY or some crap in school.

I knew someone indirectly whose last name was Poppa-(insert short form of Richard here). What a name... filters won't even allow it! Knew of him during middle school/high school too, poor guy!

panjama is the daughter of a foreign woman looking through a department store magazine, thought it was pronounced 'pa-ja-ma' instead of 'pa-jam-a'.
and shi'thead is pronounced 'shi-theed' like the second part rhymes with deed.
