Okay guys, bear with me here, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

I'm redoing my pet Reading's profile. Prepare to have your minds blown because you're about to embark on a journey into the bowels of writing.

THIS CONTEST HAS THE POTENTIAL TO HAVE EVERYONE WIN.

I know contests are supposed to have deadlines... so how about 3 months from now? August 10th, 2012.

Post here to "claim" a book or story, and I'll make a list of those that are claimed so that other users don't write a story for that same book.

Question tho, when you say he gets 'sucked into' the book, does that mean he's rather in a parallel universe? I only ask that because I'm not sure how that would work for magazines as those don't have any plot to follow, nor settings, unless he can also affect the photo's and articles somehow... (but trying to fathom any sort of real setting would be difficult beyond the photo shoot).

@ Hmmm that's a good point... I was thinking like... a parallel universe. So if there is a story of lindsey lohan for example, he can love with her rehab article and then in real life, the magazine can be sued for slander cause Red changed it to whatever he did.

So like... whatever Red does in the book world changes the book permanently in this world.

More chances for weird real life mayhem. It also changes the story in any form, so if you have the book in a kindle, on your computer, on your phone, even audio books... they all get changed too.

Hahaha this sounds fun! Any chance we can enter more than one? I have a great idea for a poem - "The Road Not Taken", by Robert Frost - but that's pretty short, and the deadline is long, so I would love to be able to do another one.

Can I claim the Havemercy series by Jaiday Jones and Dannielle Bennett, most likely the fourth book Steelhands. I think Red could manage to mess up a lot and destroy the story in that one.

So my question is, is Red aware of the stories he's in? Like maybe he's read/heard about them before? So he's aware of his surroundings and how the story is SUPPOSE to go if he wasn't involved in it?
