By 'it' I mean decide who around you would turn into different zombies from Left4Dead, what around you would make a good weapon, who you'd want on your survivor team, and where the best place for a safe room would be.

I also like to think up good forum titles to get people in here quicker. Because you know, people on here only go for titles that get their minds deeper into the gutter...but that's another topic altogether. XD

Where I am currently, at work, is an excellent place to think about this. Directly behind my desk is a small room with supplies in it, with no windows and a thick metal door - excellent safe room. Weapons - the blade from a paper cutter would be my first choice, or possibly a chair, maybe a metal shelf. I know who'd turn into what zombies too - the larger guy sitting across from me (awesome as he is, lol) would definitely be a boomer and the girl who comes in sometimes and is a total dog and is skinny with nasty stringy hair would definitely be a spitter. And for who I'd want on my team, there's this one guy...athletic build, usually wears a pub t-shirt...mmmm...wait, what was I talking about again? <_< >_> ...zombies...yeah, okay. *ahem*

So, do you do it too?

omfg my friends always plan out the zombie apocalypse in their spare time. aka all the time because they're doing nothing with their lives because all they do is play cod and halo and plan out the zombie apocalypse.

personally, i never did that, nor do i plan too. it seems too silly for me (and i'm Loving stupid sometimes).

Nothing wrong with a bit of silly problem solving....aka preparing for the zombies. I don't play Left4, mind you, but my brother and his boys do, so they have all the tactics ready. I just have to make it to their house, and the weapons they have IRL, and i'll be made in the shade.

Oh the Living Impaired...I kinda think I'd be left out. Geographic isolation might put outside the affected areas. But my weapon of choice is a simple handgun and a stockpile of magnesium bullets. Besides, The Living Dead don't need to know Math!

I don't plan for the zombie apocalypse per se because it's not even feasible, but...

I do care about having survival skills. I want to know that if I'm ever in a situation where I'm out in the wilderness, I can feed myself, find water, build/find shelter and orient myself back toward civilization all in one piece (without poisoning myself). However, my knowledge is really rudimentary and based off preparation. If I'm going camping somewhere I can research the flora/fauna of that particular area and I can pack everything that I know is useful. If I just landed into the wilderness bare-handed, I'm not sure how well I'd survive without any implements to kill/skin/cook animals, a compass/map, etc.

Basically, I can stick it out more than most, but I'm no Bear Grylls.

No but I do think on other things like what type of dragon the people who sit around me will become, What some poeple would do if put into a situation where they were in a zombie apocolipse, who i would take with me in the same scinario, what Animal do people remind me of, ect. The list goes on foreaver and very little of it has to do with zombies and most of it has to do with dragons or animals...I get bord alot at my school.

Is any one there?if so....dont find me.i will only bring sarow,death,and dreams of insanity.

Definitely. Although I'm not really one for a 'team'. I do think about who I'd be helping move to a safe location, but ultimately I think everyone I know would just slow me down and be hysterical at inopportune moments.

My workplace is the ultimate safe house though, or safe resort rather. I mean, there's underground caves with massive metal doors to secure the entrances. Maybe I could convince them to store food down there, just in case - I think all that's down that at the moment is a wine cellar...

Preparing for the zombie apocalypse is a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine - I think I've lost count of all the "What Ifs" I have scrawled all over the margins of my notebook

My weapon of choice would be a trench knife though - everyone knows zombies are best taken out with some form of head damage, and trench knives are... well, designed to do exactly that...

I've actually thought about which zombie I'd be in L4D. I'd probably be a witch--only a better clothed witch.

I've briefly thought about what I'd do during the zombie apocalypse, but then it gets to scary and I just focus on the present and how great life is now. But if there was a zombie apocalypse, I'd probably be the first to die by doing something stupid. Also, I could never bring myself to kill a zombie, even though they are no longer human.

And yes, I do play L4D all the time. I have no problem playing the game, but thinking about the same situation in real life really scares me.
