Has anyone else here read these books? If you have, have you read all three?

Which characters are your favorite? Why?
Are there any favorite moments of yours that you like to bookmark and go back and read later, just for fun?

If you have gotten to the ending (Mastiff), what do you think of it? Spoilers are fine, feel free to censor them with spoiler tags or not, I don't care.

Personally, I'm not sure how I feel about the third book. It doesn't feel to fully fit with the first two, and the way the characters changed doesn't really jive with me. What do you think? Did you see Tunstall's change coming? Did you agree with the personality swing or not? What's your opinion on Farmer?

Did anyone else catch the fact that Beka asked the king to find a mate for Achoo so she can have her first litter, but when Achoo was introduced in the second book, Beka noted that the hound had likely had a litter or two, and had the sign of the closed womb on her belly because a previous handler likely didn't want her to have any more? >.<

Anyway, just share opinions on the series. I don't have enough people who read as much as I do, so I don't get to discuss some of my favorite books with other people very much....
